Lily cheered as she fell back. “Yeah!” she smiled as she fixed herself. “Oh my gosh, I can tell Webby about the new book I read!” she squealed. If there was one thing that her and Webby had in common, it was books…and love of crossbows. “Let’s do this!”
Scarlett cheered as well and smiled at her sister. "This is going to be a fun day." She paused and looked around. "Though we're going to have to tell Dad and pick up all of this." Quinn grinned as she eyed the papers and markers. "A little bit of magic couldn't hurt could it?" As she finished saying that, the art supplies and papers started floating, and there was a red hue around them. In a matter of seconds, the art supplies and papers had returned to their place. "There! Now, all we need to do is tell Dad we're gonna go out."
(HHHHHHH THEM CALLING ALEX DAD GIVES ME LIFE-)
Lily nodded as she left the room. She peeked her head back in and smiled. “Well, what are we waiting for? Come on!” she laughed as she rushed to the kitchen. Alex was reading a book at the table, having finished washing the dishes.
(They've come to accept that Alex is their dad. And it doesn't matter to them if it's through adoption)
Scarlett rushed to the kitchen, with Quinn behind her. "Dad, dad, dad!" She paused as she took a deep breath. "We're gonna go outside and see some friends. Is that alright with you? I promise we're not going to get into any trouble."
“Of course! Just be careful, okay?” Alex smiled at them before hugging them. “And have fun!” he let go of them and Lily rushed to the door. “No problemo Dad! We won’t be too long!” she called out before leaving. She then waited for her sisters to come out.
Quinn felt happy as she ran out of the house and into the streets. It seems that the outside world always puts her in a happier mood than normal. Luckily for them, McDuck manor wasn't very far. "I know Scarlett promised that we wouldn't get into any trouble, but….I might just barge in into the lab at the Money Bin to give the guys-" Scarlett snorted as they followed Lily. "You're going to give them a heart attack." "Am not!" Quinn responded.
Lily laughed. “Guys, no-“ she snorted before laughing again. “Let’s cut them some slack,” she smiled softly, slowing her pace so she was now next to her sisters. “I wonder what they’ve been doing lately?”
"Oh come on! It'll be fun!" Quinn said with a laugh. "Who knows. There hasn't been any mention of something destroying Duckburg. The last report was about a month ago. So they must be up to something big." Quinn responded with a shrug. Scarlett looked over at her and rolled her eyes. "Aren't you in a group chat with them? Are you saying they haven't spilled anything about their projects there?" "Well, yeah, but…whenever I ask what they're working on, they go suspiciously quiet and don't respond until the next day."
Lily tilted her head slightly. “Well, that’s odd…” she sighed as the manor fell into the girls’ view. “Maybe we can convince them to take a break!” she smiled once more as she rushed towards the manor. “Race you there!”
"Hm, maybe!" Quinn said. She gasped dramatically as she ran after Lily. "Bet you can't catch beat me," Quinn responded with a laugh. As she neared the manor, Scarlett ran faster than her sisters and arrived first. Lily arrived in second while Quinn arrived in third. "Hey, no fair. Scarlett cheated." Scarlett stuck out her tongue at Quinn and knocked on the door.
Lily laughed, wrapping her arm around Quinn. “She’s too fast. We’re outnumbered,” she joked as she waited for someone to answer. She started humming to herself as she looked around.
"Outnumbered, out planned," Quinn mumbled under her breath. The door opened and Webby stood, smiling. "Oh, hey Lily. Hi Quinn and Hi.." She paused as she looked at Scarlett. "Scarlett, was it?" The younger duck nodded and Webby smiled even more. "Anyways, what's up?"
"The sky," Quinn grinned. "But no, we came to spend some time with you all."
Webby's eyes twinkled. "Well then, come in!"
Lily smiled, excited. “Oh, Webby, you should read this book I’ve been reading lately! It’s amazing and it’s right up your alley!” she grinned, walking in. “It’s got magic, monsters, and a lead female character who’s awesome!” Lily rambled, glad that she could infodump about the book. She was very excited when she first read it.

Webby's eyes shone brightly. "NO WAY! Really? You got to tell me everything about it, Lily!" Webby said excitedly, as she closed the door. She was almost jumping up and down in her place. "Maybe I can borrow it once you're finished!"
Lily beamed. “Of course!” she smiled as she started to tell Webby about the book. She swung her arm like she was holding a sword when she mentioned the fight scenes. “And the dialogue! It hits hard!” she added.
Webby was extremely excited and couldn't wait to start reading it. "That sounds so awesome, Lily!"
She glanced around the room and noticed that Quinn and Scarlett were gone. "Huh, that's weird. I could've sworn they were here just a moment ago."
Lily looked around as well. “They were….did they walk off or something?” she asked, a little worried. She walked around the room, looking for her sisters. “Maybe they’re in another room?” she suggested.
"Hm, yes maybe," Webby responded, but she was a bit doubtful. A couple of seconds later, Scarlett's smiling head poked out from the living room. "We're over here, with Sapphire, Dewey, and Huey. We kinda just got bored of hearing the both of you ramble about that book."
Lily laughed, smiling. “Thank god, you two are okay,” she said as she walked into the living room. “Where’s Louie?” she asked, looking around for the youngest triplet.
Scarlett shrugged, as she picked up the comic book she had borrowed from Dewey, only mere moments ago. "I dunno, he was here just a couple of seconds ago." She flipped the comic open, as she looked at the first page. Quinn was in a conversation with Sapphire and Dewey, while Huey was reading his Junior Woodchuck Guidebook. Again.
“Weird,” Lily muttered before sitting on the couch. “Well, it’s nice to be here again. After everything, it’s good to spend time with you guys,” she smiled at the others.
