(oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh I like him! Maybe for Shea because they're both mind-power type people!)

"Alright." Shea popped a piece of gum into her mouth. She bobbed her head along to a random song playing in her head and folded her arms, lightly tapping slender fingers against her arm. "So, Jason, how'd you come to live here? They don't exactly let anyone come live here."

@ElderGod-Icefire

(:D thanks! Yeah sounds good!)

Jason sighed faintly. He had been wondering when she was going to ask him that. "It's… complicated. I work for SHIELD, is part of the reason." He wondered if she'd question the fact that a teenage boy worked for SHIELD. He knew she would have plenty of questions for him, he just wasnt sure how to answer them all. He also wasn't sure how she would react if he told her who his father was.

@larcenistarsonist group

"Mmm… I worked for SHIELD for a while. I was part of their 'Young Heroes' program-" Shea put finger quotes around "Young Heroes." "Yeah, it sucked. Nothing but pawns for SHIELD. We were just expendable soldiers with random powers, meant to do whatever SHIELD wanted us to do. A few years back, I discovered that Hydra had infiltrated SHIELD, but I needed to be sure. So I went on a scouting mission and ended up getting captured. Four years later, Bucky and Sam found me by pure luck. SHIELD didn't even bother looking for me, so I resigned. I was just gonna move away and stuff, but Clint reached out to me. He talked with the Avengers, and they let me come stay here." She paused. Her smirk had morphed into a scowl. "So. I didn't see you around the Young Heroes program, so how did you end up at SHIELD?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

His mouth twitched. "Yeah. Young Heroes flopped. And no, I was never involved with that program, just heard about it. As for how I ended up at SHIELD…it's complicated. And classified. So. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you or not, since you aren't part of SHIELD anymore, and even if you were, you might not have the clearance for the information anyway."

@larcenistarsonist group

"Classified, eh?" Shea raised an eyebrow and her signature smirk reappeared. "Must've been big." She yawned and leaned her head against the cool metal of the elevator wall. "But then again, SHIELD kept secrets from everyone. I swear to God, everything was considered 'classified.'" More finger quotes. Her violet eyes glanced up to the indicator above the doors that told them what floor they were on. A soft DING sounded, the elevator slowly coming to a stop on floor 86.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jason sighed faintly. "Yeah. That's just how government operations work, though." He stepped out of the elevator, beckoning Shea over. "These levels are where most of the labs are, so you probably won't be doing much around here unless you're into science." He laughed faintly, running his hands through his hair and looking around the room quietly, letting Shea take everything in.

@larcenistarsonist group

"Nah, I was never a great student in school. Never really interested in what they had to teach me. However, I was a stellar athlete if I do say so myself. Top of my class in SHIELD Academy when it came to athletics." Shea's eyes wandered around the lab, noting all of the scientists and what they were working on. It seemed to be mostly machinery and technology. Much better than she was used to. "So, you got any powers or anything?" Shea asked. She picked up a small glowing box and a scientist quickly snatched it out of her hand and told her to not touch things. Shea just laughed it off and made her way over to Jason's side.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jason chuckled softly. "Ice." He held up a hand, a web of ice forming between his fingers for a moment, before melting away again. "And, ah, I'm a supersoldier, as well." He looked up at her for a moment, then beckoned towards the elevator again. "Come on, there isn't much to see on the rest of this level, just science shit, it's boring."

@larcenistarsonist group

Shea's eyes lit up when Jason demonstrated his powers. "A cryokinetic? Impressive." Shea nodded and smirked, following Jason into the elevator. "I used to know a pyrokinetic. She was pretty chill despite her powers." She once again leaned against the steel wall of the elevator. "And a super soldier too… Hey, how did you get those powers?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Thanks. Ah…" He hesitated for a moment. "It's complicated, I think." He shrugged a little, pressing the button for the elevator and looking over at her. "I can explain, if you like, but it may take a while." He ran his hand over his hair a little, leaving the blond strands sticking nearly straight up, before falling back down again.

@larcenistarsonist group

Shea raised an eyebrow at the super soldier. "I got time," She deadpanned. When he was quiet for a few seconds she decided to continue. "If it makes you feel any better I can tell you how I got my powers, which isn't a story I really care to tell…" She trailed off before she felt an all to familiar sensation creep up on her. Like something rabid and feral within her fighting against the locks and restraints she put on its cage. "Also, do you have just an empty room I could use? Just with nothing in it and totally separated from all living people?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Alright. Uh, yeah, we do have a room you could use. As for my abilities…long story short, I was created by SHIELD, ah, artificially, using blood from…well, from Steve Rogers, along with someone else. The supersoldier stuff is from him, and the ice is the other person. I don't know who." He shrugged a shoulder, bouncing on the heels of his feet for a moment as he looked at the elevator instead of at her. "So I am a fake person, if that answers your questions. That is also the reason I'm actually here, at the tower."

@larcenistarsonist group

"Damn," Shea muttered, her expression slightly hardening at the mention of Steve Rogers. "Well, uh for me… My mom was one of the first mutants back in the 30s. She was exposed to some hostile conditions that mutated her genes when she was still in womb… And my dad was a mystic that had dabbled in both the dark arts and the… regular arts…" Shea trailed off, violet eyes trained on the elevator doors. "Me and my brother were born fairly normal, but that didn't last long. The government killed my parents because they were different in a strange time… And then sometime in the 50s something happened to me - I don't know what really - and I was in an ageless coma." Shea swallowed. "When I woke up, they didn't hesitate to put me - six years old at the time - right into the SHIELD training program and when they discovered my powers they put me in Young Heroes." The elevator dinged, ripping Shea from her monologue. "Well, uh. Next stop on the Avenger's tour I guess."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Yikes. Let's, uh, not get into a backstory contest." He said, wiggling the remaining fingers on his left hand at her with a quiet laugh. The doors slid open, and he grinned. "Welcome to the launchpad, Shea. This is where we launch the Quinjet from, and any other air vehicles that we use." He smiled a little, looking around as a light wind whipped past.

@larcenistarsonist group

"Mine's dramatic-er," Shea added with a snort and a smirk, she tapped her large facial scar with her index finger. She squinted upon arriving at the launchpad. Her arms wrapped around her torso, pulling her hoodie tighter around her muscles and slim frame. "Damn, its cold," she grumbled. "What's next?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Ah, true, but I'm missing fingers." He wiggled them again with a laugh as he led her back into the elevator. "I'll show you the gym, then the main level where we spend a lot of our time, then your rooms. Sound good?" He asked, leaning against the wall of the elevator as he pushed the button to start the descent down to the gym.

@larcenistarsonist group

"Whatever," Shea shrugged and laughed as she followed Jason into the elevator. As they were descending,the reality of Shea actually living with the Avengers set in. A stupid smirk spread across her face as she wondered who she could possibly run into at the Tower. "So, does everyone live here? Bucky, Clint, Nat, Tony, Sam, and so on."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Mm…most people, yeah. Sam does not, but he drops by every now and again. Clint divides his time between here and his…where he goes is classified, but he spends about half his time here. Tony isn't always here either, he divides his time between his house in Malibu and the tower and business trips. But other than that, everyone lives here." Jason explained as the elevator descended.

@larcenistarsonist group

"The whole gang, huh?" Shea absently tapped her fingers against her arm, a smirk resting on her face. The elevator dinged and the doors slid open, revealing the 10th floor, the gym.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Mostly. You ah, aren't going to be able to avoid running into my…running into Steve, by the way. It's just…a fact, I guess." He shrugged faintly as he led her into the gym. "The gym is open to anyone, at any time, though. So whenever you want to come down and work out or whatever, you're welcome to."

@larcenistarsonist group

(I'm gonna introduce an Avenger because yes…)

"Your Steve?" Shea raised an eyebrow but didn't press further, making her way into the gym. At first look, the floor looked like every other gym. Treadmills pushed up against the floor-to-ceiling windows, benches and ellipticals in perfect parallel rows, rowers and step climbers against the far right wall. Shea walked through the isle, her hands shoved in her hoodie pocket and her eyes wandering over the few people occupying the room. There was a sliding glass door at the end of the room that opened for Shea when she got close. Inside were drones rapid-firing at a figure. Blocks and obstacles resembled a city street. Shea watched from a safe distance as the drones attacked the figure. The figure backflipped off a car and fired three consecutive arrows from a modernized bow. The drones fell to the floor and the city street disappeared, the room now just a large, empty coridor.

"'Sup kid," Clint Baron greeted with a wave. "I see you got my invite."

"Hey, Clint," Shea smiled at the Avenger, glad to see a friend.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Fine, my "paternal genetic donor", if that satisfies you." He replied with a faint laugh, shaking his head a little. "Hey Clint." He greeted, crossing his arms loosely and looking around the room for a moment before returning his attention to the archer. "Good to see you around."

@larcenistarsonist group

"Hey, Jason. I see you've met lil' firecracker here," Clint laughed and patted Shea on the shoulder. Shea rolled her eyes but leaned into Clint's touch. "She's quite the handful so I wish you luck."

"Shut it, Clint." Shea laughed and took a step away from him to face him. "Y'know you love me."

"Sure, kid." Hawkeye walked over to a key pad near the wall and punched in a code. The room roared to life and the city street formed once again. "I hope i see you around the Tower, kid."

"See ya', Clint." Shea turned and exited the room.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jason sighed faintly, following after Shea after waving to Clint. "Where do you think you're going?" He queried of her, raising his eyebrows at her curiously. "Do you want to see more of the gym? Otherwise I can take you to the garage and then to your level."

@larcenistarsonist group

"I'll be familiar with the gym soon enough," Shea answered with a shrug. "Besides, SHIELD had one just like it. And yeah, the garage would be nice." Shea pressed the button to the elevator and leaned against it. She watched the virtual reality training room out of the corner of her eye, watching Clint continue to take down drone after drone.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jason didn't watch, familiar enough with seeing the other Avengers train that he didn't see the need to watch Clint right now. He led her into the elevator, punching the button to take them down. It was a quick trip, just a few seconds at most. The doors opened to show the garage, with Tony's cars and a few others. "If you have your own vehicle, you can park it here. There's also ten cars that any of us are free to borrow. However, if the license plate says Stark, that is Tony's and Tony's only, and no borrowing is allowed without prior permission. Make sense?" He looked over at her.

@larcenistarsonist group

Shea smirked, already knowing that she was going to take one of those big, red, high-tech convertibles for a spin sometime. She walked past some of the motorcycles, brushing her hand against the sleek metal bodies of them. "Fury said he was going to get my bike here sometime. I hope it's soon." Shea stuck her bottom lip out like a child but then laughed it off. She then made her way towards Stark's cars, peering through the windows to look at all the modifications and such the Iron Man had made to it. "Does Stark have any other expensive toys?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Stark has many expensive toys, and you aren't allowed to mess with the vast majority of them." Jason replied. "Seriously. Although Jarvis is installed in the tower and can help you out anytime you need anything. All you gotta do is talk to him and ask, and he can do just about anything for you." He smiled a little, glancing up at the ceiling for a moment. "Isn't that right, Jarvis?"

"That is correct, Jason. Miss Shea, it is a pleasure to meet you. If you need anything, I'm always available to help." Jarvis's calm, british voice came from the speakers.

@larcenistarsonist group

"Mmm… I'm not allowed to do a lot of things but that doesn't stop me," Shea cackled but then cleared her throat. Her eyes widened as Jarvis spoke. "So, uh, Jarvis. Aren't you also Vision? As in the big flying red robot with the gem in his head?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

(gtg, sorry)

"Part of me is, yes. Ultron smashed me to pieces and much of me was uploaded into what is now Vision. Tony managed to restore me, but occasionally I still have memory gaps or problems with my coding. If this happens while I am conversing with you, I offer my greatest apologies and request for patience." Jarvis replied in that calm, implacable voice.
