"Ugh. You seem obnoxious as hell," Orion said.
"Ugh. You seem obnoxious as hell," Orion said.
The time change had brought Orion back to the main screen, the same buttons there as before. Still, Three frowned for just a moment when Orion said this.
"You can hear me?" Orion asked.
Three looked away from the screen for a moment, but soon he was back to his default smirk. Still, the answer was clear- he could.
"To be fair, you do look annoying." Orion typed, "Are you trapped like Two?"
Three had scowled at the first part, but his eyes widened and he pulled back some in shock.
"What was he talking about with you?!"
"Um. He-" Orion stopped. This seemed a little bit dangerous. "He was stuck pulling weeds in his garden." Orion winced inwardly. That was the worst cover-up in the history of anything ever being covered up.
Three frowned deeply, his hands going to his hips.
"That sounds like the bastard." Still, there was something about Three, like he was nervous about something.
''What's wrong?'' Orion typed in.
"Hm? Nothing," Three said, looking away. "Just seem you'd much rather talk about Two than talk to me for real."
''Oh. Jealous and obnoxious. Great." Orion turned off her phone and flipped onto her side, pushing Thirteen onto the floor.
That would have been enough to silence another app, but in a moment a notification was popping up.
'You have a message from him! - I'M NOT F-' The rest of the message was cut off by the letter cap on the notification, but it would be easy to guess the general idea of what Three had said.
''Okay.'' She reopened the app. "What do you want from me?"
"I am not jealous," Three insisted. "I just find it rude to not talk about anything other than Two. I don't even know your name!"
"Honey, we've been talking for three minutes. I hardly find it rude to talk about a person I just met. And my name is Orion."
"Well, Orion, it's nice to meet you. Like the constellation, right? The Hunter?" Three looked up at the screen, hands falling to his sides.
"Yes. Are you a. . . a constellation person?"
"Somewhat, yeah." Three smiled just a touch. "Iā¦ don't know much, but I want to learn."
"That's alright. What's your sexuality, if you don't mind my asking?"
"I'm pretty gay-" A glitch. When it was happening, Three looked horrified.
"I'm pansexual," the new screen read.
"Wow. Okay. That was interesting. On a different path, do you know why that glitch happened?"
"Glitch? What glitch?" Three tilted his head, the faintest look of panic crossing his face at the mention of the glitch.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about, you snake."
"No, I don't." Three spoke with an indignant huff, but when the text stopped appearing, he looked panicked as he looked up at Orion.
"Alright. I get it. You aren't supposed to tell. Look, maybe I can get you out of this app>"
"I-" The screen started to glitch again. "W-"
"What game?" The screen kept glitching, though, and then it went blank.
"Oh no! The game crashed. Please restart the app to continue."
"JESUS CHRIST." She restarted the app. "This is going to be a trial."
The app loaded, then pulled up the main home screen. Three was there, under the time. Something was different, though- the 'Talk' button was greyed out.
"Well. Can you still hear me?"
There was a bit of reaction out of Three, glancing up through the screen, but nothing to confirm. It seemed the option being taken away was less to do with Orion talking and more to do with silencing Three.
