Rashe turned and peeked out his window. No one usually came to his home, except for maybe the occasional friend or two but the man standing outside wasn't anyone he recognized. "stay here." he said to the two girls, slowly stepping out of the home and walking towards the man, standing a few feet away from him
"Hey, dude, if you saw literal nothingness for a few seconds, sorry about that, you had a torch and last time someone had a torch and was coming towards where i was, they wanted to kill me, so sorry again." Azrael said to the strange man.
"Sorry if that doesn't make sense."
The man looked at Rashe, and sighed. "You know why I'm here, right?" he asked.
Meadow pushed her face against the window, trying to see what was happening. All she saw was the two figures talking.
Rashe narrowed his eyes at the man but then looked back at the house. he thought for a moment. If this man was their father or someone they were related to, Azrael wouldn't have temporarily killed him. he straightened his stance slightly "no, i don't."
The man looked at him for second, then looked back at the woods. Is there…Anyone else…in your home?
(I'm gonna change the name of the roleplay to "Rashe, Meadow, and Azrael's Home")
(ok!)
"No one that you need to concern yourself with." he replied, his hand twitching slightly, readying for a fight
The man looks at Rashe's hand, getting the message. "Ok then." He says. Then turns away.
He watched him go, making sure he was out of sight before returning back to the house. "did you know him?" he asked the two girls as he returned to making food
Meadow was confused by this strange encounter. It clearly wasn't nightmare, for he would have already swallowed the whole forest by now. She decided to shake it off and keep watching over the unattended food.
Meadow sat in silence for a couple minutes, waiting for the food, until finally she asked "Why did you decide to take care of two random girls in the forest?"
he nodded then shrugged, still on edge from the encounter. "i'm not sure. I knew I couldn't just leave you out there though." he labled some soup he had made from the night before into bowls and handed them off to the two girls before serving himself the left overs. "Why didn't kill me when you saw me like you did with him?" he asked
"Because I bursted in, remember? He came at us with a torch."
"yeah but you barely had to look at him before you made the decision to snap him to death." he tilted his head and wave a hand in a circle, conjuring a small, controlled flame. "whats the difference?" he asked softly, extinguishing the flame and sighing softly
Meadow slurped down the soup, then looked up at Rashe. "You wern't causing any harm." She said while telepathically playing with the rest of her soup.
"Because I can tell the difference between someone who wishes harm, and someone who doesn't," Azrael stated as she drank the soup down in one sitting.
"You didn't wish harm."
"The difference is that he walked up to the doorstep with a torch."
"He wished to harm us from the inside out."
He looked at the two, surprised when the younger girl was moving the soup with her mind. He chose not to question it, knowing the girl was a witch of some sort. "I may not be liked by many but I wouldn't hurt anyone. At least not without a purpose." he sipped the soup and relaxed slightly "so do you have parents or is it just you two?
"I'm literally as old as the universe," Azrael said.
"They abandoned me when I was 3." Meadow sighed.
Meadow stopped playing with her soup and ate it."I have telepathic powers."
Rashe flinched when the girl said she had been abandoned at such a young age but was glad that she had found Azrael. "i never got your names before." he noted, knowing that the grim reaper had a nick name but he had never asked for their actual names
