(Omg I - I love this. Is this full, or would it be possible for me to join as like a maid possibly?)
(Feel free to join! If you want to be a maid, you could come looking for Savannah since she ran off ^^)
(By the way, we’re not using templates, so you can just hop in whenever)
(Omg thank youu!!) (Is Savannah a princess? I don't remember from the old one.)
Georgiana pulled her skirt up as she ran toward the castle gates. This was exactly what was NOT supposed to happen. She could get fired for this. And she had JUST gotten this job, too! as she reached the street, she began to panic. How was she going to find one person in a bustling city? She immediately slipped and fell into the street, narrowly missing being hit by a cart. Of course, it's always me. She thought.
(Yes, she’s the princess)
Savannah jumped at the sound of a crash and stood up, looking around the corner of the building she was behind. She spotted her maid and quickly tried to look as though she hadn’t been crying, but didn’t do too well with that. “G-Georgiana?” She asked cautiously. “Is that you?” (Also, Savannah’s about 16)
(Ah, thanks) (Georgiana's gonna be around there too)
Georgiana looked up and hastily got to her feet. Thank the heavens, she thought. "Savannah! Gracious, were you crying? What's wrong, dear?" Georgiana addressed the princess as she would one of her own siblings when they were upset, hoping it might have a calming effect on the girl.
“Oh… I-it’s nothing, really, I just…” Savannah looked away before suddenly hugging Georgiana, crying again. “M-Mother and father have arranged for m-me to get married! They… t-they didn’t even ask me if I was okay with it! They just keep going on and on about h-how it’s for the good of everyone, b-but I can’t get married… I’m only sixteen! Oh, Georgiana… what am I to do?”
Riverpaw yelped at the arrival of the other himan, bolting back behind the building to watch them from there. If people were looking for this girl, she'd have to get home soon before a more unfriendly human showed up.
(I honestly don't know what to do with Damian.)
(Maybe you could hear them being loud and go to investigate?)
As Damian was in the kitchen helping Silva cook, a few voices came from tight outside in the alleyway. At first he thought they were in trouble, but he hadn't heard any screaming yet. "Well, I'll go check anyway." Wiping the blood from his hands on his apron, he stepped out the back door and walked out to see two girls and a pup. "What's going on?"
(We don't seem to have a Prince, so I was thinking if you want Damian could be. He could be from a small kingdom and that's way he has to marry her. But he ran away and grew out his hair to live by himself.)
(Is this still open?)
(Yeah it’s open, and if no one else wants to be the prince or anything I’m fine with Damian being one ^^ he’s a good boyo)
(May I be a guard?)
“Oh! Sorry sir… I-I didn’t mean to disturb you or anything. It’s nothing, really.” Savannah quickly tried to dry her tears. It would be hard to explain the problem to someone who didn’t know she was the princess.
(Yep!)
"Hm." A girl crying is something he's never dealt with before, but he couldn't just leave her. "It's kinda chilly, um, how about a hot meal on the house?" In his head it sounded fine, but when he said it out loud it was extremely awkward. Even though he was prince he had never been very good with people. Since his kingdom is small, he didn't have to deal with huge crowds. "I mean, only if you want."
“Er… I-I mean, if it’s okay… I wouldn’t want to be any trouble.” People are looking for me… perhaps I could hide in there. “I couldn’t just not pay you though. Please, take this.” Savannah took a few silver coins out of a small pouch she had, holding them out to Damian.
"No, really." He pushed her hand back and opened the door for her. "I work here, so it's no trouble at all." He would have to lead her through the kitchen so they might get a few people looking, but that was nothing new to him.
Savannah reluctantly put her money back in the pouch and followed Damian into the restaurant. She avoided eye contact with everyone just in case someone recognized her, but the majority of people had never seen her in their lives, despite her being the princess.
Georgiana watched, standing awkwardly near the doorstep. I'll just wait here, then? She thought, unsure of what to do. She had planned to comfort the princess, but now there was a man… Georgiana hated meeting new people. Probably best to just wait.
(Rest in spaghetti never forgetti)
(honestly same)
Riverpaw watched the two people disappear into the building, then she looked up at the new girl - Georgiana, apparently - standing there. She seemed like she wanted to help that sad girl, Savannah, so why didn't she go inside too? It wasn't exactly her business, but Riverpaw couldn't bring herself to leave without knowing if she'd be okay. So, she lay down against the wall, resting her head on her paws and deciding to wait too. Her sister wasn't expecting her home any time soon.
Marcus came running past, his armor clanking. He spotted Georgiana. He skidded to a stop.
"Have you seen the princess?!" He asked, slightly out of breath.
"Er, yes, I have," she answered cautiously, "why do you need her?"
"I was told to-" he took a moment to breathe.
"I was told to bring her back to the palace."
"As was I," Georgiana replied curtly, "the princess is occupied at the moment, but I will be sure to accompany her back to the palace when she is finished."
"Here sit." Damian pulled out a chair. No matter how many times he tried, he could never fully get rid of his prince act. "Well, I'll be back with some food," and with that he disappeared into the kitchen. He thought she was quite beautiful, but obviously wasn't going to say anything. They just met, that would be weird.
"All the guard were sent out; the king and queen-" He said, before sitting down. He rubbed his eyes.
"Oh, screw it. I'll wait with you."
Georgiana smiled, turning her face so he wouldn't see it. She had known some of the guards to be pompous and rude, and was glad he wasn't like that. She struggled to keep her tone formal as she replied, "I think the princess needs some time. She was told she would have to be married off to someone she had never met."
