"So am I," Kate shouted from wherever the fuck she was.

Moxie smiled. "Great, alright." She picked up three sashes and put them on the table behind her. She looked at the results on her phone. "First up for Prom King we have . . . Logan!"

Dom's eyes widened. He shook Logan's arm. "Way to go dude!"

"Oooooh snap!" Eris called, cheering with a big grin on her face. "You killed it, Logan!"

"Whoop whoop!" Ace cheered as she heard her friend's name called for Prom King. She clapped her hands with delight.

Kate clapped and cheered happy for Logan.

"YES!" Jyn shouted, pumping her fist into the air.

Logan wasn't really paying attention and had a piece of candy hanging out of his mouth. He paused for a bit, not registering it. "… Whut?"

"You got it dude!" Dom said. "Prom King!"

"Oh." Logan said, still not figuring it out. "OH! Oh shit! Oh fuck, holly motherfucking shit!" He exclaimed, shoving some more candy in his mouth in celebration.

Moxie smiled at Logan’s reaction. “Come on over here Logan,” she said, holding up the sash that said ‘Prom King’ in fancy letters.

Logan skipped over there, grabbing the sash and putting it on with a giddy smile. "Heyo Moxie Mox!"

Eris cheered, clapping her hands together. Now it was a party.

"Alright, now for Prom Queen, the people have spoken." Moxie looked at her phone, even though she already knew the name on there. "The Notebook 2019 Prom Queen is . . . " she paused for dramatic effect. "Eris!"

Dom jumped up and down excitedly. "I knew it!" He jostled Eris's shoulder. "I told you you were the popular one!"

Eris was currently in mid sip of her contraband juice, but she quickly swallowed and beamed. "I'm gonna slay as queen, my darlings." She said, even as a faint blush appeared on her pale cheeks.

"Hell you will!" Dom whooped.

“We know,” Moxie said, placing the sash over Eris’s head. “Congratulations.”

Starr stood surreptitiously in the corner, crossing her fingers and hoping she wouldn't get called. When Eris won, she relaxed slightly.

Asaya smiled. "Good for them." She bumped Starr on the shoulder. "I nominated you, ya know."

Starr turned, disbelieving to Asaya. "Seriously?" She shook her head. "I really don't deserve it."

"Yeah, you kinda do." Asaya blushed a bit. "I think Carter did it. Nominated you, that is. Carter's resting, though, so I can't ask."

Starr sighed. "Of course Carter would."

Asaya giggled. "That's what Carter does best."

"The sad part is, you aren't wrong," Starr replied jokingly.

Asaya smiled weakly. "Well, we best go congratulate the royalty."

"Oh, no. More socialization?" she said and shuddered.

Eris took the sash with a smile, gentle bumping Moxie with her hip. "What? No crown?" She harrumphed playfully.
