"I'm surprised you didn't bring your own," Moxie replied, just as playfully, grinning. "Alright, and our last, but certainly not least part of our Prom Court," Moxie said into the microphone. "Our non-binary royalty . . . Ace!"

Ace almost choked on the punch they were drinking when they heard their name called for Nonbinary Royalty. They allowed themselves to cough until they could breathe again. They raised a sheepish smile and an awkward wave to the surrounding people.

Dom waved excitedly.

Moxie beckoned them over and placed the sash over their head. She held her hand out for Ace to shake.

Ace beamed as they shook Moxie's outreached hand. They almost started crying from the embarrassment and happiness from this event. "Thank you…"

Moxie smiled at her friend, as she put the last sash around their head. She turned to face the room again. "And that's your prom royalty everyone! Give it up for Ace, Logan, and Eris!"

Dom clapped until his palms hurt. He even tried to whistle, but stopped as he wasn't particularly good at it.

Logan dabbed and moonwalked away, falling off the stage. It was okay though, becuase this is all a dream and I like to break the laws of physics.

Starr clapped excitedly for Ace, pulling her hat down farther to cover her eyes again.

Eris swept into a graceful curtsy before bringing Logan and Ace into a big hug. "Thank you for voting for us!" She cheered to the crowd.

Dom sent finger guns her way, grinning.

Asaya wanted to yank the hat off of Starr's face. "Why are you covering your beautiful eyes?" Asaya asked.

Starr flushed slightly. "Have you never seen Alice in Wonderland?"

"Yes, I've seen it!" Asaya exclaimed. "When I was four… I don't remember what happens."

"Mad Hatter!" she said. "He always seemed kinda shady, so I wanna embody the role, ya know?"

"Ah, okay! That's cool."
