(Nah, basically it's just the interactions between Light and Dark, I kinda wanna see where this goes)

Lilly giggled.
"I always did wonder why you have a cat."
(Aaah. Alrighty.)
"Cats are 'bout the only thing that enjoys both light and dark. Besides, cats are awasome." Roy nodded his head, approving himself, and picked up his cat. "Say hi to Lilly, cat." He'd never really named it.
Lilly giggled.
"Cats are truly the purrfect pet, aren't they?"
"Oh my gosh." Roy dragged out the O sound to be dramatic. He rolled his eyes and laughed too. "Cat puns are nothing but a catastrophe."
"I beg to differ; they are pawsome!" Lilly let out a sweet laugh.
"The only pawsome thing around here is you, sunshine." Roy winked before he to laughed. "Okay but seriously, puns suck."
"Okay, okay." Lilly's face settled on a sweet smile. She swung around, the edges of her dress slipping into the darkness.
Roy watched thoughtfully. He didn't really mind her happy go lucky ways. "Careful. You don't want fall into the darkness." He stated.
Lilly stopped swinging around, her eyes gazing into Roy's.
"I won't make the same mistake twice." (Hint hint)
(You could slap me with the answer and I'd still be confused.)
Roy raised an eyebrow, Trying to jog his memory. Had she fallen in before, with out him knowing?
"Do you not remember?" Lilly's smile drooped.
"I can understand, it was a long time ago…"
(Basically, she's referring to when the dinosaurs went extinct. It was no meteor, no volcano, she fell into the darkness and was lost there for ages. By the time she got back, the dinos were dead.)
(Oooh! Wow I was not expecting that.)
Roy frowned, disappointed in himself. "No I can't say I do. Sorry, Lilly." He longed to comfort her somehow. Wishing he could hold her. He assumed the memory would be bad.
Lilly's smile returned.
"Ah, it's fine! It was a long time ago anyway."
"You sure about that, sunshine?" Roy looked worried still.
"Yeup!" It had already pasted from her train of thought.
(View Lilly as the eternal optimist; you could chop her arm off and she'd come up with something positive to say about it)
"All righty then. Whatever ya say, sunshine." Roy held up his hands, a small smile returning to his face.
(Now I can imagine her saying "tis but a flesh wound." And I'm cackling.)
(XD yas)
Lilly looked around. She spotted a happy couple.
"Roy, look!"
Roy jumped when she shouted, half expecting to see a dog running at them. When he spotted the happy couple he just about made a gagging noise.
"Oh, I thought it was something important." He half joked, never really being that found of happy couple's.
Lilly ignored the remark. The girl sat on the shaded end of the bench, while the man sat on the sunlight side. Lilly walked over to them, knowing they couldn't see her.
Roy followed, not really knowing. He could have gone back to kicking the dirt, but maybe this would be more interesting.
Lilly expertly twisted her light around the man's face, framing it. The woman smiled. To her, it seemed as if the light was simply hitting her boyfriend just right.
"Shine light in their eyes." Roy said with a grin. "Ya know, like when someone's about to take a picture but the light makes them all squinty." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, not really seeing any need for any kind of shadows on the two.
Lilly rolled her eyes. She caused the light to flash off of the man's button, flashing in her eyes. She giggled, then leaned closer to get out of the glare.
"You're boring." Roy said, though he couldn't completely deny the fact that he did find it some how cute. Even if he did also find it slightly gross.
