"Well, this is new," Nellie said, transfixed by the scene.
"Well, this is new," Nellie said, transfixed by the scene.
Firiko laughed, "Oh shut up Shadow Runt" upon finishin the taunting nickname he was enveloped in a shadow whip.
"Didn't Luma warn you not to call me that??" growled Damian angrily.
Calix rolled his eyes and got water for one of the people who asked and put it down in front of her. "Hey Nellie." Calix said as he passed her.
"Thanks," Nellie said as she took her drink, eyes still focused on the… fight? in the middle of the bar.
Calix looked over at the fight. "I don't condone fights. If you wish to kill people at least have the decency to do it somewhere with no witnesses and not in a public place either."
Luck tried to bristle. "No! I'm fine! I want water too!" He declared to the bartender. He patted his curly blonde hair self-consciously, glancing around twice.
Calix nodded and got some water. He walked over to the guy and put it down. "Tada water." He said then walked away.
"I'm not going to kill him" said Damian, dropping Firiko. Firiko managed to grab a beam and pull himself back up with a huff.
"I tend to avoid that, besides if I killed him my uncle would kill me, not to mention his siblings." continued Damian with a shudder as he settled down in a random chair.
Firiko glanced down, "Scared of my brother are you?" he asked.
"No I'm scared of your sister" he retorted.
Nellie whispered to Calix, "do you know what's going on? Cause I don't"
"It's a simple cousin to cousin disagreement" said Damian, "now can somebody other than the feathered wacko, get me somethin' to drink, anything at all I don't care"
Calix shook his head and smiled. "I'm the only bartender here so, want something strong, weak, or do you want water. Options are limited currently."
Water is probably best" said Damian with a sigh, "Who knows what it'll be like heading back out."
Calix nodded then got some water. "So am I going to go up there to give you water or will you take it yourself?"
Firiko glided down to a corner, "Or I can just come down here"
"that works. I guess. But I thought he wanted the water."
Damian hopped down, taking it with a word of thanks.
"yep. Enjoy that." Calix said and sighed. He walked back to the bar grabbed himself a cup and poured vodka in it.
Firiko warped back up to the rafters, shifting to wolf form as he settled in.
Calix silently drank his drink. He refilled it a few times.
Damian yawned, "So what do you guys do around here?" he asked boredly.
"they chat and gossip. I usually provide drinks and the occasional drink." Calix said still drinking.
"There's usually more people, and we talk about our tragic backstories," replied Nellie.
"Oh don't get me started on the subject of tragedy" said Firiko from the rafters.
Calix looked up and tossed his cup aside into the sink. "And I don't get paid enough for this job."
(Bump)
The silver haired girl looks around warily. She seems to be around sixteen, and yet a her eyes hold an almost motherly light, and are filled with a wisdom beyond her apparent age.
"hello." Calix said when he noticed someone looking around.
The girl looks at Calix and then puts her hood back on, trying to remain unnoticed.
“Hello.”
He nodded. "Would you like anything to drink?"
The girl shook her head.
“Unless you have song wine, I don’t drink.”
