Luna was really quiet and closed her peepers. Her controlled consuming oxygen to produce carbon dioxide was at a more natural pace and she could feel her body swaying with the hammock. She calmed down almost entirely, but her voice was still near silent, "I-It's f-fine."
"No it's not. I brought back bad memories when I was supposed to make you happy and calm by bringing you here." Gently he laid her down on the hammock and he got off. "You rest." Uriah, grabbed a grimoire that he leaves here to read. He sat by the hammock and continued to rock it while reading. He hoped she would rest a bit and later would feel better.
Luna curled up and closed her peepers. She had been over this when she was alone. Something about people and actually telling people just seemed to set her off. She took a few deep breaths and just relaxed pulling her hood higher over her head, "Th-thank you U-uriah."
Cyrus lunged forwards and grabbed her by the shoulder.
"Sparrow, I need to know. Did I do something right? You're scaring me."
"You didn't do anything right.we just fell asleep together after training yesterday. I woke up before you and your hand was around my shoulder. I freaked shoved you to the floor then ran out of the training human containment unit." She told him
"Of course." He smiled and continued to read. Luna has definitely change over the past orbit party. Some bad things may have happened, but Uriah honestly thought she changed for the better and was going to be stronger because of all this. "I'm always here for you. When you're ready to head back just tell me."
Luna nodded and let out a deep breath. She was probably never going to get over what happened at… Yeah, but she could recover. Make new connections, still be Luna. Just different, with more people and a stutter, "O-Okay."
Cyrus laughed. "Oh, so that's it? God, the way you led up to it made it sound like something embarrassing or terrible happened!"
He had become slightly flushed, but his words didn't suggest any nervousness. He tried to change the tone.
"Guess we needed the sleep, huh? To just fall asleep in the middle of a human containment unit full of weapons."
Uriah finished a few chapters in his grimoire. He stood to check on Luna. Slowly and gently pulled back her hood to see if she was sleeping. Her consuming oxygen to produce carbon dioxide was slow and steady and her peepers were closed, so it seemed like she was sleeping but he wasn't sure. Instead of waking her he laid on the earth fur and decided a nap sounded noice.
Luna had fallen asleep on the hammock. She had figured a quick nap wasn't going to do any harm. However she woke slightly when her hood was moved, but quickly returned to her slumber. Sleep was noice, and sleep was good.
After what felt like hours Uriah woke up to the sound of a barking barky zoom-bean. Freedom. "What is up with you?" Rubbing his peepers he sat up and for a minute forgot where he was. As his mind cleared and woke up more, he remembered that he was with Luna in his secret area. "Hey, Luna." He shook the hammock a bit to wake her up. "We should probably head back."
Luna woke with a startle, she shot up and started to breath in a panicked manor. She calmed herself down quickly and looked down at Uriah panic still flashing in her peepers. The shaking and startled her to say the least, "U-Um yeah. W-we should head b-back."
Uriah walked through the trees to see Price eating some earth fur. "Hey boy, you ready to go?" Uriah patted the horse neck and hopped on. He held his hand out for Luna to take, so he could help her on.
Luna walked over and grabbed his hand pulling herself up onto Prince. She felt a lot calmer after she had moved around. She put her arms around Uriah, since she figured he would've done that anyway.
Prince began to move and headed back to the guild. Uriah was waiting for everyone to have questions, especially since it was him and Luna going to a place where no one knew where they were. He sighed, but kept his peepers forward. "How was your nap?"
Luna glanced off into the forest. She didn't want questions to come at her at all, she already has enough to deal with. She let out a sigh, "I-It was fine. H-how about yours?"
"Mine was good, although I don't think I slept very long." Prince stopped in front of the stable and Uriah got off. "Do you need help down?" He held out his hand just in case she needed help down. Prince was a big horse so he wasn't sure.
Luna shook her head, "N-No, I got this." Luna swung her legs onto one side and slipped off Prince. She reached up and made sure her hood was up over her head, "I-I would be disappointed in m-myself if I couldn't."
"Alright." Uriah crossed his arms and watched her slide down. "We should head inside and see what everyone else is doing." And get ready for questions. He hoped he got most of them so Luna didn't have to deal with that.
Luna nodded and held herself. Talking to them meant questions, and Luna wasn't ready for questions. She took a deep breath and looked down at the ground before finally looking up at Uriah, "Y-yeah. W-we should do that."
Uriah was smiling, hoping that will comfort her a bit. "Don't worry, I'll answer all the questions for you." He patted her head and then headed inside. He was sure someone would be waiting at the wobbly flip-shutter, but no one was there. "Hm, I wonder where they are?"
Luna smiled back, "Th-thank you," Though she felt slightly annoyed at the head pat, because who pats people's head? It was just strange. She followed him in glancing around surprised to find almost everywhere empty, "I-I don't know. Th-the training human containment unit maybe?"
"Maybe." The training was at the other side of the building, but he need to see if anyone was there. It would be logical if they were. The young ones needed training. "Maybe I should ask Sparrow for some more lessons, so I can be more helpful around here."
Luna started heading in the direction she remembered the training area to be in, "Y-you're already helpful. B-but if you want more lessons, th-than go right ahead."
"Thanks, but I know I'm not very helpful. Theres not much I can do around here except teach people to read and write." That was something he was good at since he was taught at a young age.
Luna thought for a second, "Y-you could probably also give horse r-riding lessons. A-and you can't be completely d-daft with a weapon."
"I'm not horrible with a weapon, I mean I was trained swordsmanship since a young age. I just don't have the assassin qualities to teach assassins. And Sparrow could teach horse back riding." He started to feel worse and worse talking about this.
"U-Uriah, you d-don't have to teach assassin qualities," Luna said her brows knitting with concentration and concern, "N-no one should ignore the basics of life. L-like reading, writing, and other skills like that. N-no one here can do that better th-than you. Th-the one person not trained from a young age as an a-assassin."
"Hm, I guess you're right. Thank you." He smiled down at her. Maybe he could also start a school for young assassins to learn to read and write. The building could be close to his company. "Yeah, that's a good brain bubble." He accidentally said out loud without realizing. He'll have a talk with Cyrus or Eira later to get their input on it and see if it really is a good brain bubble.
"De nada," Luna responded smiling back up at him. She saw that the training human containment unit was close to where they were, "I-I'm sure you'll find a way to d-do it."
Sparrow sighed and decided to go plan out Cyrus's new weapon. He didnt give a response and that made her think that it was better to go to her family mansion sooner rather than later.
(Just a warning, we'll be time skipping about a week or so soon)
