kinda random but i wanted to put my song rankings here jdshfa
1. dos oruguitas. (the song + what was going on in the movie during that part really moved me. i didnt cry cuz i rarely ever cry during movies, but i loved it nonetheless. the emotion in this song is just %GŜ&Ŝ*&DS in other words it means a lot to me. the ay mariposas part + the visuals of the butterflies and then the ending with su propiero futuro?? incredible scene.) also 1. we dont talk about bruno (i mean its the most popular for a reason ig. i swear i still wake up sometimes with looping in my head) 2. the family madrigal (its so fun to sing, especially when mirabel starts singing high speed near the end) 3. waiting on a miracle (i didnt think much of it when i watched the movie the first time around but after listening more i loved it and i can relate to it lol) also 3 cuz i cant decide. what else can i do (also very fun to sing. same with waiting on a miracle, i didnt like it at first, now i cant get it out of my head. A HURRICANE OF J-) 4. surface pressure (this one is super catchy, it would be higher but i dont relate to this one as much as waiting on a miracle, mostly cuz im the youngest sibling and i dont really feel pressure from high expectations, more like people dont expect anything of me lol) 5. all of you (its good but just not my fav kjsdna, i cant get bruno saying "WE NEED A DOORKNOB" out of my head.) 6. colombia mi encanto (COLOOOMBIAAAA ENCANTO ENCANTO)
Aight, IT'S STILL STUCK IN MY HEAD
My fav Encanto song is Waiting on a miracle but know one else really cares about it. I love it because it is my kind of song.

I like that one
Dos Oruguitas is good too
Yeah also Isabella is a goddess. Change. My. Mind.
isabella…
i love her arc, how we see her struggles
but you can't find anything about punk rock isabella T^T
anyone else think Surface Pressure is like, the most relatable Disney song ever?
i don't get why it's not THE song of encanto
i mean, her VOICE.
the way it goes from hard and low and fast to ~peaceful~ and serene
the metaphors and easter eggs for mytho fans like me :D
and the relabableness
I love that song, not a fan of how much i relate to it lol
Same. Not to mention how… rich Luisa’s voice is.
it's SO GOOD
and when isabela and mirabel sing a mardrigal (which is what it's called when they sing over s=each otehr like that) it's just beautiful
it is also called a madrigal. a harmony is the english term for the exact same thing
Oh damn sick. That makes Encanto 1000 times better
encanto has…what, three nominations for the Oscars?
hm, yes it does
according to this article I've found, Encanto has been nominated for these three categories
In the category of the best-animated feature film “Encanto” will go up against the films; "Flee,” “Luca,” "Raya and the Last Dragon,” and “The Mitchells vs. The Machines.”
The hit animated musical will face-off against “Don't Look Up,” “Dune,” “The Power of the Dog,” and “Parallel Mothers” in the category of the best original score.
“Dos Oruguitas” will compete against Billie Eilish's “No Time to Die” from “No Time to Die,” Van Morrisons “Down to Joy” from “Belfast,” Reba McEntire's “Somehow You Do” from “Four Good Days,” and Beyoncé's “Be Alive” from “King Richard."
When he calls your name, it all fades to black
yEaH, he SEES your DREAMs and FEEEEASTS on your SCREAMMMMMMMMMS
We dont talk about Bruno, no, no, no
WE DON'T TALK ABOUT BRUU-NOO
