@ElderGod-Icefire
He nodded in agreement, hoping the two were alright.
He nodded in agreement, hoping the two were alright.
Derlik thought for a moment.
"Should we go check on them?"
"Probably." he paused for a moment, then uncurled, standing up and tucking his arms around himself.
Derlik looked to Nik a moment, following his example as he stood.
"Shall we go, then? They were that way last we saw them."
Nik nodded slightly. "Yeah."
Derlik started off, then, checking occasionally to make sure Nik was okay.
Nik followed Derlik quietly.
Derlik let out a soft breath.
"Twili?" the god called out softly. "Smoke?"
Nik was quiet, looking around for them.
Twili was busy playing with Smoke, laughing silently again as she tackled the cat with a hug.
Smoke mewed softly, returning the hug happily.
Twili grinned, nuzzling her cheek against the man's.
"Twili? Smoke? Come one out you two!"
Smoke's ears twitched faintly when he heard Derlik calling, but he didn't let go of Twili.
Twili looked up as well, then back to Smoke. She didn't let go, but did nudge him to answer.
Smoke sighed faintly. "Over here!" he called back, looking at Twili after he called out.
Twili smiled, hugging Smoke again.
Derlik let out a relieved breath, starting to where he'd heard Smoke.
Nik followed Derlik.
Smoke hugged Twili back happily, tail twitching a little.
Derlik continued until he found the two, still caught up in each other's arms.
"Aww," he said softly under his breath.
"You two doing good?"
Smoke blinked up at him, nodding a little, then rubbed his cheek lightly against the side of Twili's head. It was a cat-like behavior, carried over from when he actually was a cat.
Twili giggled silently, leaning into the rubbing.
"Okay, then," Derlik said, gently patting each of their heads. "Now, it is getting late so make sure to come back soon, okay?"
Smoke nodded again. "Okay." he replied, tail twitching happily.
"Good." Derlik straightened up, turning to Nik.
Nik was quiet, watching.
Derlik offered the smallest of smiles, going back to Nik's side.
Nik has his arms wrapped around himself, and he didn't speak.
