Cas was used to people being afraid of him, but right now Nik was the one person he didn't want him to be afraid, "I'm not going to hurt you, Nikolai, I just want a chance to explain and help you."
Cas was used to people being afraid of him, but right now Nik was the one person he didn't want him to be afraid, "I'm not going to hurt you, Nikolai, I just want a chance to explain and help you."
"I'm not going to hurt you, now just hold still." He shivered slightly, tucking his shoulders close to his body and shaking his head, tucking his knees close to his body too. "You fucking kidnapped me, and now you want me to trust you?"
"I don't expect you to trust me," Cas leaned backwards, "I'm asking for a chance to explain. Besides, you're cold, I can take you some where a lot warmer." He shrugged a shoulder, "But if you don't want that then fine."
Nik squeezed his eyes shut again. "Just don't…touch me." he replied slowly, forcing himself to his feet, still trembling and shaking. He took a deep breath, not looking at Cas and instead looking at the floor.
Cas nodded, standing with him, "Okay. I won't. This way." He headed for the doors, leading Nik out of the throne room. Once out in the hall, it seemed way busier. Maids and servants were bustling around, guards passing and giving the two a nod. Cas made sure no one came near them.
Nik was silent, his arms wrapped around himself and his eyes flashing around the halls fearfully. He didn't understand what was happening, or what to do, or…or anything. He shuddered, swallowing hard and trying not to throw up again.
Eventually they made it to Cas's chambers, one of the warmest parts of the castle. It almost seemed cozy when they entered. A fire was burning near the large bed, all black and navy blue. There was a table near the bathroom door and a large desk on the other side, all spruce wood, "Feel free to take a seat on the bed. Would you like a blanket or some warmer clothes?"
Nikolas sat down on the bed, watching Cas carefully. He relaxed a little bit in the heat, shoulders dropping from the high, tight, anxious position they had adopted. "Uhm. Clothes? Please?" he asked softly, gaze dropping down to his hands.
Cas nodded, "Of course." He headed into the wardrobe, pulling out some warmer clothes. When he came out, there was a pair of long trousers, a long sleeved tunic, some leather shoes and an indoor fur coat. He handed them to Nik, "There's a bathroom over there you can change in."
Nik took them, and went into the bathroom. He scrubbed at his eyes, closing the door and trying not to cry. He changed, taking out his phone. No service. He turned it off, slipping it into his pocket, and then his wallet as well.
Cas had taken a seat at his desk, feet propped up as he rifled through some papers. He felt bad for taken Nikolai, but he wanted to get to know him and make a connection. He couldn't do that on Earth, he had a kingdom to run after all.
(I gtg to bed soon, so I probably won't respond again tonight)
Nikolai came out of the bathroom, his clothes over one arm, looking at Cas and biting his lip nervously. "Done." he said quietly, sitting down on the bed again. Cas's clothes were far too big for him, draping on his thin form.
(All good, sleep well)
Cas looked up noticing how big the clothes were with a frown, "We'll have to go out and find you some better clothes at some point. Those just won't suffice," He sighed, leaning back in his chair, "So, I take it you want an explanation?"
"Damn right." Nik replied, crossing his arms and tucking his feet underneath his body, looking at Cas. "And it better not be bullshit." he was half glaring at Caspian, though he couldn't help but be grateful for the warm clothing.
Cas sighed, "Well you're going to assume it's bullshit considering it might sound crazy. As I said earlier, my name is Caspian Ark, and I'm the king of Yeralta, which is where you are right now. It is one kingdom out of many on this continent. I also didn't lie when I said I'd seen you around in the park, I had and was intrigued by you, wanted to get to know you more. Hence why I bought you here."
"Wait a fucking second. You wanted to get to know me, so you thought kidnapping me against my will was a good way to do it??!" His voice was steadily rising as he spoke, and he stared at Caspian with round eyes.
Caspian rubbed at his forehead, “Look, I have a kingdom to run, people to punish, I can’t stick around on Earth do yes, taking you here was the only good way to get to know you.”
"And I have friends, dates, and a kitten to take care of! I have a life, you know!" Nik was almost shouting, arms crossed tightly as he glared over at Caspian.
Cas sighed, taking his feet off of the desk so he could lean forwards, "I didn't consider that at the time. A week. I'll take you back home after a week if you still hate me."
"Why a week?" Nik demanded. "Why can't I go home now?" His lips were pressed into a tight, flat line, and he shifted uncomfortably, looking at Caspian.
"Even if I wanted to take you home I can't," He replied as calmly as he could, "I don't have enough power to make a two way trip right now. So you'll have to stay for a week."
(hey, just a heads-up, I gtg in about twenty minutes)
Nik clenched his jaw, looking away. "Fine." He muttered, running a hand through his curly hair and swallowing, trying to ignore the fact that he was alone in a strange world with a man he didn't know.
(All good)
"Look, all I'm asking for is a chance to get to know you and you me," Cas crossed his arms over his chest, "I get I'm an asshole, and if you still hate me by the end of the week I swear I'll take you home."
Nik crossed his arms again, swallowing hard. "Fine." He said again. "But I'm not spending the week in your bed." He looked at Cas, well aware that if the male really wanted…that…from Nik, there wouldn't be anything the smaller male could do to stop him.
Cas held his hands up in a surrender, "I may be an asshole and a dickhead, but I don't take advantage of people. There's a room down the hall you can stay in. If anything happens you know where I am."
