He followed after Alister, staying behind him when he was shaking her gently awake, he leaned against the wall with a soft smile. "morning Noel."

There was a slow hiss of breath as the blankets shifted and Noel's eyes fluttered open. "Hey guys," she said sleepily. Her gaze drifted to her brother, and a smile spread across her face. Alister returned it and leaned in for a hug. After they separated, Noel sat up, her hair cascading in waves past her shoulders.
"Nice to see you without a wheelchair, Evan," she murmured. "And yeah, I'm hungry. Just let me get dressed and we can go downstairs. Remember, we have a rescue mission to prepare for."
Alister blinked. He had completely forgotten about that. Suddenly he was rubbing his arms out of nervousness. "Alright."
Noel slid out of bed and stretched, her normal arms reaching up and her darker arms going out. Alister stood up and headed out the door, motioning for Evan to follow.

"yeah, it feels great to be able to walk on my own." He smiles at noel, replying back to her comment. He just stood and listened to the rest, ah, a rescue mission, he had almost forgot during his time with Alister.
He hoped that malachi was okay.
He followed Alister out.

After waiting a few minutes, Noel came out in cargo pants and a poncho, and her hair was tied up in a braid again. She gave them a tired smile, and together they went downstaires.
Arabelle, Bimala, Duchess, and a few others were waiting in the main area. It was mostly quiet, but the three women were muttering together at one table. Duchess glanced over. Her dark blue hair was down and messy, like she'd forgotten to brush it.
"Hey kiddos," she said, a hint of a smirk on her face. "Don't die out there, yeah?"
"We're perfectly capable of not dying," Noel replied, putting a hand on her hips.
Duchess laughed dryly. "I like you, kid."
A small smile grew on Arabelle's face, but then it faded. She stood. "Storm." she nodded to the two siblings. "Arden." she nodded to Evan. "The other search party will be here any minute. When they get here, there will be some things to discuss. But in the meantime, go get yourselves some breakfast."
She seemed more relaxed than she had last night. She gestured to the meal table near the kitchen, where there were plates of sausage and cups of water.
"You got word from them?" Noel asked.
She nodded, then gestured to the table again. Noel chuckled and went over. Alister waved at the women and followed.
Bimala looked up from her cup of tea. "Oh, Evan, after you eat, I want to take your bandages off. You might reopen your wounds on this mission, but we can be certain that it won't be because you moved around too much."

He nodded along to what they were saying listening as intently as he could, keeping his hands at his side even though he wanted to fidget with them, he smiled softly relaxing a bit at the chuckle and just all around lightness of the mood, "Yes ma'am." He smiled at Bimala, chuckling even a bit. He followed the twins into the eating area making sure to grab breakfast and sit down with twins, eating his food with a soft smile on his face.

Noel finished her food in about 5 seconds; there wasn't much and she was used to eating quickly and quietly. Alister merely nibbled his food, nervousness was taking his apatite.
"It's not just us going, right? She said she would send adults with us."
"Yes, Ali," Noel said, getting up to take her dishes to the kitchen. "Eat, you'll need it."
He nibbled some more and noticed that his hand was shaking. "Am I overreacting? I feel like I'm being way more nervous than I should be."

"Alister Noel is right, your going to need to eat all of that." He smiled softly at Alister, "Its completely understandable and normal to be nervous before a mission, I used to get extremely nervous, sometimes I still do. Just know it's completely normal to feel nervous." He finished off his food, waiting for Alister to finish so he could take his dish.
Trent walked into the area and grabbed some breakfast sitting down farther along the table, he waved at evan when he entered and evan waved back.

Keagan woke up next his sleeping sister, and slowly slipped out of the bed, careful to scrape out any dirt that he might have had on his clothes, he fell asleep and forgot to take them off.
He tucked the covers back into his sister as she slept reatranging the pillow and fluffing it before sneaking out of the room and to where arabelle was to see if she needed help with anything.

Alister nodded, the anxious expression on his face relaxing slightly. "Yeah, you're right." He finished his breakfast and gave Evan his dishes, murmuring a thank you. He gave a small, awkward wave to Trenton as Noel came back and sat down with a "Hey" to Trent.

Evan smiled as alister relaxed a bit. "there we go," he took the dishes and went to wash them and set them aside, making sure to clean them deeply before going back to sitting near Alister and noel.
Trent waved at Alister slight smile, before giving off a "hey" to noel as he ate breakfast before going and cleaning off his dish and then returning to the table, he bit his lip with a bit of hesitance before turning to to Alister.
"Hey…do you mind if we talk?'

Alister flicked his gaze to him, stilling his fingers which he had been tapping on the table. He hesitated for a moment as well, then murmured, "Sure. Alone, or…?"

"I mean if your comfortable with being alone with me." He put a hand to his neck before walking over to where Alister was sitting. "if not then here works too."
