"Eh. I'm sure she knows I'm doing something."
"Eh. I'm sure she knows I'm doing something."
Lin shrugged a bit. "Well, what if it's important? We're not really doing anything."
"Fine, alright. I'll be right back. Don't get yourself into trouble." She got up and made her way to the car.
"Yeah, yeah." Lin stayed quietly where he was seated, waiting for Orion to return.
"Alright. No missed calls," she said to Lin as she returned.
Lin nodded a bit. "That's good… I'm never particularly worried about that kind of thing. You're the only contact in my phone anyway."
"That's. . . oddly endearing. Can I hold your hand?"
"Uh… thanks? And, sure, if you want to…" Lin replied awkwardly.
"Yay!" she said brightly and intertwined their fingers.
Lin looked down at their entwined hands curiously, trying to decide whether he liked it or not.
"What? Do you want me to let go?" she said worriedly. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable."
"No, I like it. It's just different." Lin hummed thoughtfully, holding a bit tighter to Orion's hand. "People do this a lot, right?"
"Yes. And it doesn't have to be romantic, either. I've seen friends holding hands."
Lin nodded a bit, adjusting his grip on Orion's hand. He obviously didn't really know what he was doing. "If you say so. Are you comfortable?"
"Yes. I'm very happy, also." She smiled at him. "Let me know if you want to stop."
"Alright…" He was quiet for a while, not quite sure what to say. "We should probably head back to the car soon."
"I guess so. No hurry," she said mildly.
He nodded a bit. "It's getting dark. We'll need to sleep."

(oof sorry)
"Yeah. I suppose so. You wanna go now?"
(Np)
"Sure." Lin got to his feet and stretched, sighing softly to himself m
"Alright." Orion got up and started for the car.
Lin followed Orion to the car and got into the passenger side, leaning the seat back so that he could sleep easier.
Orion pulled her feet up to her chest and put her head against the car window, looking up at the sky. Finally, something good was happening. Today was good.
Lin got himself settled on the seat and sighed softly, closing his eyes. He was tired, but that wasn't unusual. His stamina wasn't great these days. "Goodnight, Orion…"
