August knew he lied, as he kissed his cheek, snickering. "Sure ya do."
August knew he lied, as he kissed his cheek, snickering. "Sure ya do."
"Don't do that," Luka huffed, his cheeks close to tomato red as August kissed his cheek, "I'm working right now."
August grinned. "What about after you work?~" He purred, smirking.
“After work, I’m going to go relax,” Luka replied, rolling his shoulders and glancing at August, “At my house. Alone. And hopefully you and your frustrating PDA will be far from me.”
August huffed. "Your so dramatic- the thing is, you can't escape a demon, silly." He muttered.
"I'm figuring that out," He said, snorting and looking over at the shorter male, "You're not fully demon are you though?"
August paused, before huffing and giving a toothy grin. "I'm a demon, and a vampire thing. I can shapeshift into almost anything.." He admits, scoffing. "I assume your a human?"
"Through and through," Luka replied, nodding, "At least that's what I was told." He rolled his shoulders, then chuckled and added, "I haven't met someone who is more than one mix."
August huffed. "Yeah, yeah. It's not to fun…" He admits. "People are rude, y'know? They don't accept you- at all."
"Why wouldn't they accept you?" He asked, pausing in his steps and looking over at August, "I mean, I know people are rude, but still, why wouldn't they accept you?"
"Because I'm a 'child' of satan and shit." He muttered. "If anything, I am satan!" He growled, a bit angry. "Mum and dad thought I was a freak, and so did boss, so that's why I get beat."
Luka frowned and nodded, a hand brushing over his dagger again, "Your boss sounds like a grade A dick."
"Mm, indeed. He's the worst." He muttered, running a hand through his hair.
"I've decided that he's my next target. And this isn't because of you, don't feel flattered," He replied, pointing at August and starting on his way again.
August followed him. "Question- would you mind if I stayed with you for a bit? It's not everyday you meet the greatest assassin of all time."
Luka paused, then raised an eyebrow, "What about your brother? I don't run a charity, and I sure as hell don't have room for both of you where I live."
"My brother has a house, though, he hates me." He whispered, looking down, now a bit upset.
He sighed, pausing for a minute before shrugging, "Sure, you can stay with me. I do expect you to find some way to pay me back though."
August nodded. "Of course."
"And no more flirting while I'm at work," He added, scowling at August, "Alright?"
August grinned. "Sooo- At home. Got it."
Luka scowled at him again, his cheeks turning a light pink as he didn't respond and continued on. This little flirty bastard was going to be the death of him.
August saw his boss, before freezing. He stood on his tip-toes, before leaning close to his ear. "He's right there." He whispered, pointing at the direction of him.
Almost immedately, he paused, following where August pointed and focusing on the male he had pointed to. "This time I want you to listen to me, and not follow me," Luka said quietly back, giving him a pointed look.
August nodded, with a determained look on his face, no matter how much he wanted to help… no matter how… tempted he was, he stayed put.
