(K! Do you want me to start or-?)
(If you'd like, otherwise I can get something up)
(Okay, can you-? I'm in school right now, I apologize-)
(Definitely :) )
Within a few hours Luka was walking back to where he had dropped off August, looking noticeably more worn out and with a blooming black eye. He walked with confidence in his step either way though, and his dagger was still tucked away at his side, only speckled with a few drops of blood. All he had to do now was find August.
August walked back, in a different outfit. He was wearing a dark red oversized sweater, and a pair of rose-tinted glasses on his head, and he sipped his boba, before seeing Luka and choking-
"Shit! Are you alright?!" He asked, rushing toward him.
(Thanks-)
Luka spotted August and headed over, rolling his eyes at his worry and nodding, "I'm perfectly fine, this is part of my job." Even with the black eye only being a few hours old, it was already quite swollen and colorful, but at first glance it looked like the only injury he had.
August paused- before realizing he dropped his boba, and whimpered. "Damn it… You made me drop my tea- Jerk." He huffed, puffing out his cheeks.
"I'll buy you a new tea," Luka replied, shaking his head and looking around for the shop, "Maybe they'll have ice for my eye too…"
"Hopefully." August murmured, stuffing his hands in his shorts.
He finally spotted the shop he assumed August had gotten his tea from and headed towards it, closing his bruised eye just for the sake of it was less painful.
August followed him, concerned.
Luka ordered his bag of ice from the shop, then glanced at August, waiting for him to put in his order.
August paused. "Strawberry Boba-" He muttered.
Within a few minutes Luka handed August his new drink and put the bag of ice he was given over his eye, nodding towards the door, "Let's get going. Before your bosses big bad bodyguards decide they want to test me again."
August nodded, happily sipping the drink as he smiled. "Thank you!" He said, his demon tail wagging.
He nodded in reply, focusing mostly on walking and keeping his ice pack on his eye as he led the way out of the shop. "Do you need to grab anything before I go home? From your brother or boss or anything?"
August scoffed. "It's not like I have anything I need." He muttered, sipping the drink as the glasses fell onto his nose.
"So no then?" He asked, turning to look at him through his one good eye and raising his eyebrow, "Last chance before we go, then it's up to you to bring anything you want with."
"I said I'll be fine." He snapped and he had his clothes with him.
Luka nodded, heading up the street with his ice pack held gingerly over his eye. He didn't want to risk taking it off, and the faster that he could get this black eye to disappear, the better.
(I have to go in 10 or 15.)
August followed him. "Do you want help with that?" He asked, letting his hand lightly caress his cheek. "I can help if you want me too." He muttered.
"I don't know what you could do besides hold this icepack, which would be awkward until we get to my home." Luka replied, shrugging, "I can deal with it for now I think."
"Okay-" He muttered, before pausing. "I can heal it quicker if you want me too."
"When we get to my place, not right here," Luka replied, glancing at August and tapping his icepack, "This will be good for now."
August sighed. "Okay, as you wish." He muttered.
Luka nodded, leading the way to his home. He stopped in front of a fairly nice looking apartment building on the nice end of the city, then continued in, talking to August as he did so, "This is where I live. Do not tell anyone, or I will know exactly how the secret got out and you'll be the next on my hit list."
August giggled. "Don't worry, hun. Your secrets safe with me-"
He scowled as best he could with one eye covered, face flushing at the pet name. “Shut it,” he grumbled, clearly not terribly mad about the name.
August cooed. "Aww! Your blushing! Thats so cute!!" He teased, giggling.
"Aww you're in line to have your tea taken away from you again," Luka replied, grumbling to himself as he tried to hide his still red face.
