Jamie made a face that told him her answer. "She hates me."

"O-Oh…"

She blushed furiously, afraid that she'd offended him. "But it's okay if you like her, though…"

"Like I said she's not my favorite."

She nodded. "Sorry."

"Don't be."

"Alright," she replied softly.

He smiles softly.

Jamie brushed her hair behind her ear and began to read again.

He felt sleepy.

Jamie finished another page and glanced over at him, reading his expression in a heartbeat. "Tired?"

A little.

"I can tell." She went back to reading. "You can go, if you want."

"What if I don't want to"

"You can stay."

He smiles softly

"Not many people do." She finished her page and looked over at him as she turned it.

"But I will!"

She looked him over, pretending to be suspicious. Then her face broke into a grin. "Alright."

He grabbed a book and looked threw it.

"Is your cheek alright?" she asked gently.

"Yeah…Just a little sore."

"Thank you again," she insisted kindly, putting her hand on his shoulder.

"Of course."

She kissed his cheek gently and went back to reading her book.
