Brenn heard voices, and figured that it was okay for him to come out. He straightened his slightly wrinkled shirt and fixed his hair which Sebastian in fact had had him grow out, and was near his shoulders. He quietly padded out of the room, with Moose on his shoulder and peeped around the corner seeing who was there. He didn't recognize the man, but figured that if the man had somehow been able to come onto this floor, that he was a friend of Sebastian's. So going off of that, he thought that he ought to do as they normally did, and made his way over to Sebastian, wrapping his arms around the taller boy's waist.
Kyle hadn't noticed the new boy walking in, but when he saw arms wrapping around the other boy, he realized that he was too late. He had at first thought that the thing that had gone on between Sebastian and himself really wasn't anything special, or that it wouldn't last long. But after he had broken up with his boyfriend, he realized how much he missed him, so he decided to try and to talk to him again, but nothing seemed to work. So after a few months of trying to build up his courage, he finally was here talking to Sebastian. Damn it, damn it, damn it. He thought, seeing the smaller boy move to Sebastian's side, his grey eyes gazing up at him, I should've came earlier. .. But then, he noticed something odd. Is that a. . .Oh god, that's a collar. . . He glanced up at Sebastian, worry filling his eyes, What the hell?
Sebastian was a bit surprised by Brenn's arms going around his waist. He looked down, sighing softly and patting the man's arm. He slipped one around Brenn when the smaller man moved to his side, sighing again.
"Kyle, this is Brenn. He's my sub. He met a couple months ago, and well… We saw we were a good match for each other's kinks." Sebastian blushed faintly. He raised one hand, resting it on Brenn's head.
"Brenn, this is Kyle. We…" He didn't really know how to describe the relationship with Kyle.
Oh shit… He's not one of them, This is bad, real bad. Brenn thought with a blush, his cheesk turning a deep shade of red, What do I say to him. What does one even do in a situation like this? Why didn't CC tell me how to deal with stuff like this rather than all the other things. It's not like I'll ever have to use any of that stuff, Sebastian's not into that kind of crap. But still, knowing that if he didn't say anything it would come off as rude, so he forced himself to look at the other man, making eye contact with him. "So nice to meet, Kyle. I don't think Sebastian's mentioned you to me."
"Oh, that's alright. We were friends for a good while, but then we sort of fell out of touch for a bit." That's not a like, actually, it's more honest and factual than it isn't. I mean, we were friends, than we were more than friends, than the communication dropped, and now I'm here. Not a lie at all. He thought with a slight smile, But now that that's been covered, what do I say about this, do I just not comment, and I didn't think that Sebastian would be into that stuff. The man had no clue about Sebastian's true background, he only knew about the cigars nothing more. But had he known the truth, well he would have seen a much different side of Sebastian. "Oh, uhm that's nice. . ." He said, trying to ignore the fact that there was a collar on the boy at all, it was just too weird to think about.
Sebastian had a reason he didn't date friends- this. It got awkward, and potentially dangerous. It had been a one night thing, Sebastian had been drunk and let his emotions get the best of him, and next thing he knew Kyle was attached. Sebastian turned a bit, inviting Kyle further into the home.
"Well, since we're finally able to catch up, would you like something to drink?" He offered like a soft, apologetic smile. He knew this must hurt the other man- he'd always been softer. That's why he's never been let in on the secret.
Kyle shrugged as if to say sure, "Yeah, that's fine." He sighed softly, sort of sad about this. I really just need to learn how to make a move on people, if I really care, I ought to let them know rather than just wait on the sidelines and see if they ever come back. But, as he followed the other two men into the large living room, he watched the two together, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. The two seemed to really care for each other, just by the way that Brenn looked at Sebastian, and the way that Sebastian held him in his arms, That could have been me, I should be the one there next to him, be held in his arms. He muttered a curse or two under his breath, but plastered on a smile when Brenn turned to offer him a seat, "Thank you." He said through gritted teeth, his anger growing and growing. Of course, he wasn't jealous of the fact that the other boy was wearing a collar, that sort of just weirded him out a bit, Why would anyone in their right mind subject themself to something of that nature? That's just. . .Weird? He couldn't really describe it, but he knew that he didn't like it. Perhaps Sebastian's just playing along with it so he could keep the thing around? Who knows? But I doubt Sebastian himself would be into anything like that.
Brenn was sort of oblivious to the whole situation. He still was in the pet mindset CC had forced him into, so when Kyle said that they were friends, and when Sebastian somewhat agreed, he believed them. He never would have guessed that the two were somewhat romantically involved, he never would have fathomed that. Brenn knew how Sebastian was, how he had no time for other people -but somehow time to take care of him- and really wasn't interested in romantic relationships. "What can I get you?" He asked, a happy smile on his face, This person seems nice, a lot nicer than Fabian or any of the others. And if he doesn't know the truth about this, well then he must be a good person. Well, as far as he could tell, the boy was a good person, had he known the other man's thoughts, and jealous feelings, he might not feel the same way. Brenn at that point was seated next to Sebastian, waiting for the other man to respond so he could get him whatever it was he wanted. The other man's arm was still around him, and he leaned into the embrace, gently kissing the man's cheek, oblivious to the rage in the Kyle's eyes.
One would be surprised by just how much Sebastian was okay with the collar- he didn't like that Brenn was forced to wear it, of course, but if someone is into something like that Sebastian was more than willing to do that with them. He wasn't one to judge others for their kinks. Sebastian had sat down with Brenn by his side, arms around the other. He could see the jealousy in Kyle- he wasn't exactly hiding it- but what could he do? As far as like knew, Brenn was his lover, and to be honest Sebastian wasn't so upset with the idea.
He leaned into Brenn's kiss, print his arm more securely around the other man. He looked at Kyle, a warning glance. Brenn was his boyfriend now, there was nothing Kyle could do. He'd best keep himself calm in Sebastian's home. He kissed Brenn's head in turn, running his fingers through the other man's hair.
Kyle understood the look that Sebastian had given him and sighed softly, just trying to hide his disappointment at this point. He was still angry, no he was frious, but he didn't want to make a scene, Sebastian seemed happy, at least he figured. This really sucks. . .I mean, at least he's happy. I guess I should be happy for him. But deep down, he really wasn't, not at all. In fact, although he was trying to convince himself to be happy for the two, he really wasn't. He'd work things out later, maybe he'd figure something out to finally get Sebastian back, or Brenn away from him. "Uhm, a water would great, thank you." He said flashing a smile at the other boy.
Brenn had made himself comfortable in Sebastian's arms, resting against him. He sort of figured at this point that if Sebastian had mentioned the collar, and given the answer of it being a kink -which really was the only answer that would work-figured that Sebastian was sort of alluding to the other man that they were in a relationship of sorts, or something like that. Eh, I guess that makes sense, it would be weird for me to be at his house and being wearing the collar for absolutely no reason, that just would make everyone feel uncomfortable, I mean, at least I would feel uncomfortable. But I'm also weird about this stuff, but whatever. He playfully swatted at Sebastian's hand, "Sebbb, stop, you know I don't like that." His voice was sort of quiet, not like a whisper but not too loud. "Okay." He said in response to what the other man said, and he started to get up, sort of wrestling against Sebastian's who's arms were still around him.
"But it's so sooooft," Sebastian said in turn. He laughed lightly, kissing the man. He realized after a moment he still had his arms around Brenn, letting go of the man. He looked to like as Brenn left.
"Look," he said softly. "Brenn and I really are happy together. I'm sorry you had to find out love this, though. Can we still be friends, though?" Sebastian really did like Kyle, just… Not really that way.
Brenn playfully grumbled a little bit, walking over to the kitchen and getting some glasses together. It had been a good while since the two had actually teased each other, or anything of that nature, after the whole CC thing. And Brenn found that he missed it quite a bit. And more and more he was getting annoyed and sort of just frustrated with the need to keep up the whole pet act. The whole thing wasn't fake, CC had forced him to think and behave that way, and he believed that that was how he was supposed to be, but seeing the way Sebastian treated him made him think otherwise. He treats like I'm an equal, to a degree. He thought with a shudder, thinking of the night before, And I guess I should appreciate that. He gently placed the glasses of the different drinks onto a tray - the water that Kyle had requested, a glass of wine for Sebastian, and just some tea for Brenn, he loved his hot drinks- and walked back into the living room, setting the tray on the coffee table, then sitting back down next to Sebastian.
Kyle sighed, with a shrug "Yeah, it's fine, I guess." He wasn't exactly happy with that, but again, he'd find a way to get back what he felt was his. "Oh thank you Brenn." He said with a smile at the other man, reaching for the glass of water. "I appreciate it."
Sebastian enjoyed it when Brenn and he could just… Be. Just have fun, and laugh, and have a good time together. It was much better than what they had been doing recently. He hummed softly, smiling at Brenn when he came back. He saw the wine, knowing it was for himself, but he wasn't going to touch it. Not yet, not after that had happened last time. He hummed some, wrapping his arms back around Brenn with a soft smile.
"Thank you," he said, letting out another happy hum.
"Oh it's no problem," Brenn said with a grin, making himself comfortable against the man's chest again, and he gently moved Sebastian's arms to his waist. He grabbed his mug and took a small sip of his drink, now looking at Kyle, "So how long have you and Sebastian known each other. I really don't know any of his friends other than the ones who live in the building here, so it's really nice to meet you."
"Oh, uhm, we've known each other for about a year or so, I think?" He glanced over at Sebastian, seeing if he had gotten it right. "So, how long have you and Sebastian been together?"
Brenn hadn't known what Sebastian said, "Huh?" He looked over at the other man, a confused look on his face. He knew that he had alluded to it, but he didn't think that Sebastian had made it official or whatever. "Uhm, a couple of months now. I met him at a party of his." He said with a shrug, now looking at Sebastian more pointedly, wanting him to start talking to help him out.
Sebastian was more than happy to let his arms be moved, obviously relaxed as he sat with Brenn. He nodded some at what Kyle said- it sounded about right.
"Yes, a couple months," he agreed with Brenn. "It was actually at my birthday party the others sprang on me- Fabian invited him, and we hit it off." He smiled softly, looking down at Brenn. He really was content, even just with acting like this for when Kyle was here.
Brenn nodded, Well, he didn't exactly invite, but uhm, I guess you could say that. But it's kind of funny. I was forced to come here, and now well, I don't really have anywhere else to go, but still. I feel like this is kind of my home, or at least more than what my old was. I like this better, and I like being with Sebastian, even if he can be a little bit scary. He treats me well, and maybe I sort of- never mind. He nodded along to what Sebastian was saying, just sort of staying quiet at that point while taking sips of his drink.
Sebastian let out a happy hum. He rested his head on Brenn lightly. Even if Kyle was jealous, he wasn't going to stop himself from showing Brenn appreciation and love. He left his arms around Brenn's waist, obviously content.
"I am very glad I got to meet him," the man said. He kissed Brenn's cheek lightly.
Kyle tried not to let his anger show as he saw the two growing more and more cozy or whatever with each other, and it made him feel a lot worse. I really messed up. I guess after I broke up with Mark I really should've tried to go back with him, but still. He sighed taking another sip of his water, trying to smile at the other men. "Yeah, you're lucky, really lucky. I'm sure that you two will hopefully stay together for a long time."
Brenn blushed, not exactly expecting Sebastian to be treating him like this, but he didn't really mind, he actually liked it. "Me too, I'm sure you have someone for yourself, right?" But the look on the other man's face told him otherwise, "I'm sorry, I just, yeah, I talk a lot." He mumbled, biting his lower lip, looking down at his feet.
"I do too," Sebastian said softly. He smiled again. It wasn't his problem if Kyle was jealous, not at all. He was calm, happy with Brenn.
Sebastian frowned just a touch at Brenn's words, but it wasn't at the man himself. He didn't know, of course, why Kyle was actually here. He intended to keep it that way. He didn't want Brenn to feel guilty, not about this. He smiled some at the man's blush, kissing his cheek again.
Kyle just shrugged, "No, don't worry about it. It's nothing really, we didn't really work well together, so we found it better for us to break up rather than stay together. You really don't need to apologize or anything, you're fine." He said, finishing his glass of water, and forcing himself to smile, That should of been me in his arms, not that idiot. I'm sure Sebastian'll only keep him around for a little bit, then just kick him out. He smiled slightly at that thought, then maybe I'll finally have my chance.
"Sebastiannnnnn." He said, swatting a little bit at him, "Not the time." He said quietly, looking up at him, "Please?" He didn't want Sebastian to be mad at him again, he was still sort of scared of him after what had happened the night before. But he really didn't want Kyle to feel uncomfortable or anything, and he could see hurt in the other boy's eyes. I'm sure he's sad to talk about his relationship.
Sebastian moved some to what Kyle was saying. It made sense, he wasn't sure if it was completely true. Here chuckled, stopping with the kisses for now.
"Okay, okay," he said with a soft sigh. He wasn't going to get upset, not over this. He left his arms around Brenn, though. He offered a soft smile of assurance, to show he wasn't upset.
Brenn sighed happily with contentment, glacned up at Sebastian giving him a smile before looking back at Kyle. "So uhm, how did you and Sebastian meet or something." He wanted to continue the conversation with the other man a bit, but it seemed sort of awkward, like the conversation was going stale. After another half hour or so of a more of a decent conversation, the other boy said his goodbyes and left. After the man left Brenn sat back down on the couch, leaning against it, "Sebastian, what are we? Are we like master and pet or something, or are we something else?"
Sebastian was a bit glad when Kyle finally left. He enjoyed being alone with Brenn again. He didn't have much energy for other people, especially after work or a hangover. He didn't have that with Brenn, though. He looked over at the question, thinking a moment.
"I… I'm not entirely sure," he admitted. "We're supposed to be that, but… I really don't think we are. Are… You okay with that? Whatever we may actually be?"
Brenn nodded, "Whatever we are I'm fine with." He stretched a little bit, yawning a little bit. "I'd like that." He patted the spot on the couch next to him, sort of motioning for the other boy to come sit down next to him. WHen he sat down, Brenn moved into his lap, making himself comfortable, "Well, the days almost half over, what would you like to do today? Do you just want to hang out, maybe I can cook something for us?"
Sebastian sat down, smiling some.
"I'd like it too." He wrapped his arms around Brenn easily as he relaxed into the couch, happy to sit here with him.
"And I think just hanging out of a good idea. Perhaps… We could try to make something together? It might be fun for me to learn, especially with you teaching me."
Brenn turned to face him a smile on his face, "Well, what you like to make? I have a couple of ideas, but, whatever you'd like for dinner, we could make whatever you'd like." His grin grew a little bit, gently kissing the goy on the nose, sort of playing with him. "So, uhm, just a question, why was Kyle giving me dirty looks? I don't think he liked me. Is he one of those people who get annoyed over little things, like Fabian? He got annoyed with me one time when I put too many ice cubes in his glass. That was kind of stupid to me, but I really couldn't say anything about it,"
"Mm, I don't know. What did you have in mind?" Sebastian grinned in turn, chuckling a bit when Brenn kissed his nose. He kissed the man's cheek in turn.
"Ah…" Sebastian was quiet a moment. "I think he was jealous." He wasn't going to mention how they had been a thing once, but he didn't want to lie, either. His eyes narrowed since at the mention of Fabian.
"He can be a dick," Sebastian said.
"Pasta? I don't I could maybe with shrimp, lemon butter, I don't know. Whatever you like. I'm in the mood for seafood today." Brenn said with a shrug, "Whatever you'd like I can whip up for you." He said with a shrug, moving closer to the other boy, his hands resting on Sebastian's chest. "Oh, uhm, I guess some people can't see someone else happy when they aren't themself." He said with a sigh, "I just, I don't think that's the case, maybe CC told him to be that way." He didn't really notice the look on Sebastian's face, so he continued to speak, "He's not really all that nice though, and I don't like his boyfriend either, put together they are really jerks to me. And they liked to hurt me and stuff, well when CC let them, but it's whatever, I'm just glad to be back with you."
Brenn was really oblivious to the fact that Sebastian looked like he was about to punch something, when he mentioned the fact that the other two men had hurt him. He didn't think that it was wrong to just say what was true, and he was yet to notice how possessive Sebastian was with him. He pulled his hair back into a tiny ponytail, then leaned into the other man's embrace, making himself comfortable.
