Brenn woke up in Sebastian's arms, curled up next to him, his head resting on his chest. "Good morning Seb." He said softly moving ever so slightly, "How'd you sleep?"
Sebastian slowly woke up when Brenn adressed him, opening one eye. He squinted- the damn lights were still on, and too bright for him.
"Good morning," he said, voice sore from all the crying he had done before and after he even got home.
"As well as one could, I suppose." Sebastian closed his eyes, wrapping his arms a bit more around Brenn.
"How did you sleep?"
Brenn yanwed quietly, "Alright I guess." He said with a shrug, making himself a bit more comfortable, "Are you hungry?"
"A bit." Sebastian let out a soft breath.
"I… I was really out of it last night," he said softly. "I… I don't remember much. I didn't do anything to you, did I?"
Brenn shook his head slightly, but the look on his face, and his movements said other wise. He tesnsed up in the man's arms, and looked away from him, "N-no?" He mumbled, still not looking at him.
"I-I… oh, Brenn…" Sebastian actually pulled away a bit from Brenn.
"I… I'm so sorry…" Sebastian looked away. Oh god, he was so, so guilty…
"I-it's fine, Sebastian, you really didn't hurt me at all, it was just like a smack or something, I don't even remember." He began to nervously spin a lie to get the other boy to calm down, "Please, don't worry about me, okay?"
"No, Brenn, I– Brenn it isn't okay for me to hurt you, not… not when I can't think. I… Brenn, I'd much rather talk things over then do things like that." Sebastian still didn't look at Brenn.
"It's fine, I am fine sir, please don't worry about it, you didn't hurt me, and even if you had, I wouldn't say anything about it, sir." Brenn was growing a bit stressed out now, he hated to see the man like this, especially over something that really didn't matter too much, at least in Brenn's opinion, "You've been such a good master to me, it's fine sir."
"That's- that's just it, Brenn," Sebastian said, looking at the man. "Even if I did hurt you, you wouldn't tell me. Brenn, I don't want to do that." Sebastian finally looked up at Brenn, reaching up to cut his head.
"O-okay sir." He began to fidget with the ends of his shirt, now sitting up on the couch. He adjusted his collar a little bit, since it seemed to have tightened a little bit, "I'm not upset with you sir, please don't think that, you were intoxicated, and you didn't know what you were doing. I forgive you."
Sebastian sat up as well, regretting it.
"I…" Sebastian still felt so, so guilty, though. He didn't look at Brenn, down at his hands.
"Okay, then…"
Brenn inwardly groaned, and just stood up, making his way to the kitchen, it had sort of become a normal thing for Brenn to make breakfast for the two of them. He walked in and began to rumage around trying to figure something out that would cheer Sebastian up, and he was desperately trying to remember the man's favourite breakfast food.
Toast, with honey and jam. It was simple, it was strange, but it's what Sebastian enjoyed. The man curled up a bit, burying his face in his knees. Everything was too bright, and he just wanted to make up for what he did to Brenn.
After a few minutes, he finally remembered, and soon made it, coming out of the kitchen. He could tell that the boy was tired, and had a headache, so he placed the plate of food onto the nightstand, then moved to dim the lights, then closed the curtains, "Would you like me to let you be for a bit sir?"
Sebastian was grateful when the lights were turned off.
"Yes, please…" Sebastian probably wasn't going to eat, and just head into the bathroom to puke and try to take some medicine.
Brenn nodded, quietly going back to the library. All of his things from before, his bed, his desk, even his dresser had been removed, and although some of the things were put into Sebastian's room, most were actually, a lot of them weren't. But there were still books there, and that was all that mattered at the moment. He grabbed one off the shelf and flipped through the pages, trying to see if he had read it yet, when he realized he hadn't he sighed with happiness, and began to read, listening for Sebastian to make sure he was alright. He started to read, but he couldn't focus, he just felt guilty, oh so guilty. Brenn figured that if he hadn't talked back to Sebastian, then the other man wouldn't have gone out and gotten drunk, the come back and hurt him, and if none of that had happened, Sebastian wouldn't be feeling so bad, and neither would Brenn. So, he began to think of ways that he could cheer the other man up. Then eventually he found one. He wouldn't do it today, no Sebastian just wasn't up to it, but someday. After all, isn't that why I'm here, to just please him? To make him happy?
Sebastian sat on his bed a while, trying to will away his pounding headache, but he eventually lurched off of the bed, making his way to the bathroom. He had barely gotten the toilet seat up when he puked, holding the sides of the white bowl, retching a bit as he went on. He shuddered some, wiping his mouth off when he was done. He closed the toilet, flushing as he stood to get a glass of water and some medicine.
Brenn could hear the sounds of the man throwing up, but he figured that the other man wouldn't want him around for that. But still, he closed the book and stood up, walking over to the bedroom sitting on the bed. Once he was situated, he opened his book, waiting for the other man to come out of the bathroom. "Sebastian are you okay?" He called when he heard the noise of the man throwing up stop. "Do you need anything?"
Sebastian rinsed his mouth out, taking his pills. He looked at himself in the mirror a moment. He looked like a mess, and he felt like one too. He'd gotten drunk to avoid doing anything to Brenn, but he had ended up hurting Brenn more for it. He turned the sink back on, splashing some water on his face. He toweled off, brushing his teeth so his breath didn't stink of vomit. He moved back out to the bedroom, glancing up when he saw Brenn was back on the bed. He ran his fingers through his hair, sitting down by the other man. He finally picked up his breakfast, nibbling on it.
He sighed, smiling a bit, it made him happy to see the other man feeling better. As he began to eat, he moved behind him and began to play with the other boy's hair a little bit. This was one of the few times that he had actua;;y shown affection to the other boy on his own accord rather than the other man forcing him or telling him to do so. "Are you okay sir?" He said softly, gently kissing the man's head.
Sebastian was a bit surprised when Brenn moved behind him and started playing with his hair- it was an unexpected show of affection for sure. Still, he accepted it readily, the sensation helping him relax more as he closed his eyes.
"I will be," he said softly. "It's getting better." He smiled some at the kiss, leaning into Brenn just a bit.
"Have you had anything to eat yet?" Sebastian asked, opening his eyes again as he set his empty plate to the side.
Brenn shrugged a little, "No, I'm not really hungry sir." He said with a shrug, "Maybe I'll eat something later, but not now." He wrapped his arms around the boy's neck loosely, kissing him again. "Are you still hungry? I could heat something else up for you, if you'd like."
"As long as you remember to eat later." Sebastian raised his hand to rest on Brenn's arms, turning his head to look at the man at his back. He kissed Brenn lightly in turn, smiling softly.
"No, I'm fine. I don't think my stomach can handle more at the moment." Sebastian patted Brenn's arm lightly, relaxed near fully now.
