"Here," she said, handing him the first filled glass. She noticed his expression. "Uh… a-are you alright?"

Nicky smiled brightly, and nodded. "Yup! Thank you!"

Laura smiled back. "Okay." She poured the second glass about 3/4 full. "Does anyone else want some?"

There was a chorus of 'yes please's, and Seth spoke up for the first time that night. "As long as Aaron didn't make it, I would love some, thank you."

Laura smiled. "Nicky and I made it, so you're good." She poured them all glasses.

"Oh great, you guys corrupted her!" Aaron complained over the laughter.
Nicky grabbed a few of the glasses, setting his own stuff down to bring them out. "Wasn't too hard. Maybe that says more about you than it does us."

Laura smiled shyly. "Don't worry, Aaron, I saved you some," she said, her sweetness almost hiding the sarcasm.

"Wow, you really are perfect." Nicky said, kissing her cheek on his way back to the kitchen.

She blushed shyly, but her smile was dominant. These people had managed to get her out of her tight shell. She sat down next to Lilly and took off the light sweatshirt she was wearing since it was getting hot out. A black tank top was revealed from underneath as well as another tattoo.

Nicky took a seat on the ground by her legs, leaning up against the couch between them and tilting his head back to look up at her. "Hey."

Sparks shot up her spine as he rubbed against her bare leg (she's wearing shorts too). "Hey."

"I come bearing good news and bad news. Which would you like first?"

(Spoiler alert: she has more tattoos…)

"Bad," she answered.

"Bad news, tonight's my turn t' do the dishes. Good news, you're really pretty."

She blushed. "Good news, I can help you. Bad news, sorry, but I'm not."

"Lie!" He shouted, slinging his arms over her knees like they were arm rests. "Most beautiful creature I've ever seen, actually."

She blushed harder and sipped the lemonade.

Nicky chuckled, looking up at her fondly as he whispered the word pretty over and over.

"Stop it!" she declared, smacking his head playfully.

"Ow! Abuse! Rico, help meee."

Laura giggled and ruffled his hair.

Nicky flushed, leaning into her touch.
Rico shot him an unimpressed look. "I'd help you if it didn't look like you enjoy it."

Laura grinned and took another sip of lemonade.

"Everyone in this house is out to get me. I think I finally understand Aaron."

She pursed her lips and rolled her eyes. "You're so dramatic."
