Elijah nodded his head slowly. "Okay…I guess." Elijah was slightly confused at a complete and other lack of questions from the angel. He had imagined that there would've been at least one, but he wasn't going to push the matter. He decided to leave it where it lied and move on from it.
He pushed himself up from the carpet floor on which he sat and began to make way to his room. "Well, uh…" Elijah tapped his finger against his chin in thought as he walked away. "You can do… whatever I guess. Just don't get in any trouble."
With this, he turned into his room and closed the door quietly. He flopped back onto his bed and picked his phone up from the nightstand next to it. For the first time in the day, he had relaxed.
Azael nodded a little bit, watching Elijah go. The Angel ran his fingers through his hair, letting out a slow breath. He did not know what to do. He wandered over to look at some of Elijah's books, examining them curiously, brushing a finger along the spines as he read the titles and authors. He pulled a few out, looking at the covers, before carefully putting them back where they belonged.
