@Natasha
(Sorry I had a thing. I'm back, but only for a few minutes. I need sleep for tomorrow. I'm doing pretty good, school is killing me but I've found some 'happy places')

no problem, get your rest
I'm sorry about school , I hope things get better
Caspian, sensing that this was a private moment, slipped away undetected and headed for his dorm.
(Sorry, church.)
“Sure. Do you need to go get ready, then?” Fox asked, gently wrapping his arms around her.
(np, np)
( ;)
"I am ready. If we don't go now I'll loose my courage." She said, leaning into his embrace.
“All right. I’ll drive you there, then,” Fox said softly. He kissed her forehead before pulling away and taking his keys out of his pocket.
Caspian sat down on his bed with a sigh, running a hand through his tangled, windblown hair. He leaned back against the wall, letting his eyes fall shut as his mind ran over the exhausting events of the day.
Kiera followed Fox to his car. "Thank you my love." She said nonchalantly.
“Of course. Anything for my girl,” Fox said as he opened the door for her with a grin.
Kiera smiled as she got into the car. "Why thank you." She said playfully.
“Anytime, madam,” Sterling chuckled as he shut the door and crossed to the other side of the car to sit down.
Kiera nodded as she fiddled with her hands in her lap. Hopefully, having Fox with her would make this visit better than her previous.
(So, wait. What’s the deal woh her and her parents?)
Sitting in the driver’s seat, Fox glanced over at Kiera. Noticing her fidgeting, he took her hand and gave it a small squeeze befor ebuckling up and starting the car.
Kiera looked over at Fox and gave him a small smile. Then she turned back to look out the window.
Fox drove them to the prison and parked the car. He sat for a moment, looking over at Kiera. “You ready?”
(They're visiting her dad, not her mom)
(Gosh dang it…)
(Lol)
Kiera sucked in a breath. "Y–Yeah. I think so." She answered.
Fox gave her an encouraging smile before stepping out of the car and opening her door for her.
“C’mon, then. Let’s go,” he said softly.
Kiera nodded, getting out of the car and clinging to Fox's hand for support.
Fox gave her hand another gentle, reassuring squeeze. He led her inside, where they checked in.
As soon as they were checked in and situated to see Kiera's dad, he was brought out and sat down in the chair, slowly picking up the phone-thing-whatever-it-is. His face seemed not as sharp this time. There was something almost…soft, about his features. His eyes weren't as judging, his mouth twitched with a small smile, unlike the usual snarl. He and Kiera just looked at each other for a moment. Finally, her dad broke the silence. "I'm sorry Kiera. I haven't been the father you deserve."
Tears came to Kiera's eyes. "What happened Daddy? You were such a good man."
"I know Squeakers. I know. I failed you and your mother. But…I'm trying to change. I'm trying to make you proud." He choked out.
Kiera was shocked by her father's sudden change from the man who always made it so hard for her to come see him. "I–I…" kiera couldn't find anything to say.
Fox sat beside Kiera, being her strong, silent encourager. He knew she could do this, no matter what happened. If her father really was trying to change, that was good, but if he was just messing with her head…
Fox subtly shook the thoughts away. He had to trust that this would end well. For Kiera.
