(Oop- make way guys I'm physic-)
Kara doesn't respond, quietly crying as she keeps her face hidden. Though, if she were to look at Tseth or anything else, she would look just fine. It would have looked like she wasn't crying at all.
Tseth quietly left and went back to the kitchen to eat his food and put away the leftovers. He put Kara’s plate in plastic wrap and placed it in the fridge, and then he took his own plate of food and began to eat it.
The cat walked up to Tseth at the table and rubbed against his legs before staring up at him. Tseth smiled at him and gave him a small piece of the meat on his plate. He started talking to the cat in Russian, somewhat out of habit.
”Not sure what I’ve gotten us into. We’ll see how it goes, yeah? Just try to be nice to her. I know you’re terrible at that.”
The cat only tilts his head at Tseth and then leaves once again, headed back towards Kara.
(XD cute)
Kara holds onto a pillow, shuddering. She was tired…but too on edge to sleep. Too much had happened…she was still trembling slightly. Too much…
The cat suddenly jumped onto Kara’s bed again. He made a little “mrrr?” sound and nudged her face with his head.
Kara squeaks slightly, looking at the cat. She took a moment, then pet the small animal.
The cat curls up next to Kara. It was getting late now, making the room dark save for the lights on in the other room. Eventually those shut off too though, and Kara could hear Tseth walking past her door to one of the other rooms. He clicked a light on in whatever room he went to and closed the door. He must not have been planning to sleep himself.
Kara sighs softly and curls up, absently stroking the cats furr. Somehow, it was very calming for her. She relaxed. Even if it was just a tiny bit.
Then, something popped into Kara's mind. Not really a thought of her own, but…like a forced realization. Something told her to follow this man. She hadn't moved from that spot ever since it happened…but this? She got up and followed a complete stranger. It almost felt like…something pulled her…
Kara takes a deep breath. She didn't wanna think anymore… So she would just shove all that down and hope she didn't doze off like last time.
The cat looks at her as she leaves. He decides to just stay on her bed and sleep.
When she got up, she saw which room he went to. The office at the end of the hall. The light on in the room streamed through the crack at the bottom of the door, indicating he was there. There wasn’t any sound coming from the room.
(hm- I meant for that to be a flashback but I think the way you read it is better-)
(My brain was trying to figure out which one it was so I just went with a random wrong one)
Kara stands in the hallway, staring at the light. Something echoed though her mind. "Follow the light, sweet girl."
Kara shudders and turns back to her own room. She didn't want to remember. It hurt too much. But, just as she turned to walk back to the darkness, she froze. Like something was forcing her to go. She shudders and turns back to the soft light. Then, she slowly makes her way to the door.
Her hands shook as she reaches for the door knob. She was scared…but her face didn't show it. Not even her heartbeat. Just her trembling frail figure and sweaty palms.
(Its cool! Its called improv for a reason)
Tseth quickly turned in his chair when the door opened. He almost looked… startled? But then he realized who it was. Who did you think it would be, idiot? “Oh… hey. What are you doing back here?”
The room was tidy, like the rest of the house. Mostly. The only messy part of the room was the desk he was sitting at, with halfway-organized stacks of papers, folders, and whatever else. Whatever his job was, right now it didn’t really fit what he looked like.
(Me still trying to figure out what his job adapts to in this universe: )
(XD it can be anything really.)
Kara looks down, silent. She didn't know why she was here. Why she was bothering this kind man. But she was. And…she felt bad…
(intense thinking)
(Would it be probable for the species in the universe he comes from to exist here, at the very least on a much smaller scale than usual)
(Yeah absolutely! My little universe that most of my ocs are in are just all combined from mythology and my imagination- so anything and everything exists)
(Ooh fun. So ig his position wouldn’t change much between the two universes)
Tseth looks at Kara, trying to figure out what she was thinking. And what to say next. “I don’t mind company, if that’s what you are worrying about.” More concerned about how she feels about it, though.
She slowly looks up at him, then looks around for somewhere to sit. Of course, she ends up sitting by the wall on the floor. She was close to the door. Probably out of habit.
Tseth hesitates for a moment. Right, there’s no other chairs in here. He didn’t really care for chairs anyway. He grabs a clipboard with a paper on it and then sits down on the floor with Kara, facing her. He was a good couple feet away, though. That wasn’t the only reason he decided to do that, he didn’t like people being behind him. He should probably tell her about that eventually… later. Yeah, later.
He looks over at her. He was curious to get the girl’s name, but he wasn’t sure when to ask. He did try earlier, but that didn’t work very well.
(This man is great at social interaction)
(XD)
Kara looks at the clipboard, dead silent. She didn't wanna speak anymore… But…maybe she could answer his questions on paper…? No…she shouldn't communicate…
(Me, sobbing: please-)
Tseth began to fill out the paper. It seemed to be something important, judging by the way his expression changed as he read through it. He glanced up at her every once in a while. “Sorry if I’m not the best at talking myself. I used to be good at it, not as much now.” That was a bit vague.
On his desk, there were blank papers and writing utensils. If she did want to write something on them, she could grab one.
(grin)
Kara looks at the desk. Then, she slowly stands and walks over to the supplies. She grabs two blank papers and a pen, then walks back to Tseth. She sighs as she sits down and slowly writes her name on the paper.
Surprisingly, she had very pretty handwriting. It was hard to explain, but it seemed like she had a lot of past practice with it.
(more things on her? YEAH- hehehe-)
(I love learning things about ocs who don’t want things to be revealed)
Tseth tilts his head as he watches her write. “…Kara? Is that your name?” He sets the clipboard down, which had his handwriting—lines of scribbles almost. And in Russian, to boot.
