Nora stretched out and popped her back as she sighed contently. "Yeah, I'm coming in." She stepped forward and under the stream of warm water. She stole a quick glance at Rowan but didn't comment on it, not wanting to embarrass her. "You know that you don't have to look in the complete opposite direction. I'm not Medusa or anything." She laughed.
Rowan sighed and covered her face with her hands. "I know. I'm just not suave or cool in these types of situations. We're not even doing anything and look at how red I am." This was embarrassing.
Nora chuckled and gently took Rowan's hands and pulled them away from her face. "Just don't think about me as being naked. Think about literally anything else."
Rowan looked into Nora's eyes and nodded. "Yeah. Okay. Okay." She got her hair wet under the stream of water, letting the water run over her. She took the bar of soap and got up a lather, and used that to clean her hair. The color had started to fade into an almost pink.
Nora nodded in approval before she went about her own business of getting clean. She grabbed a tiny bottle of shampoo and scrubbed her hair before she worked on rubbing some soap against her skin. Being clean felt great.
Rowan used soap on her body clean off the sweat and grime that came with furiously punching a bag. She watched Nora in wonder, keeping her eyes on her face. It was interesting to see what her shower process was.
Nora caught Rowan's gaze and winked at her. "Like what you see?" She lasted longer than expected without making a comment. She scooped up a handful of bubbles and dumped them on top of Rowan's head as she laughed.
"You're so dumb," Rowan said laughing. She used her hand to direct the shower's stream at Nora, splashing her face. "And for the record, yes. But also for the record, I was just looking at your face."
Nora laughed and lifted her hands to shield her face from the water assault. "You like a lot more than just my face, admit it," She teased as she struck an overly ridiculous pose.
Rowan looked up to the ceiling defiantly, trying in vain not to laugh. It was starting to fog. "Wouldn't know," she declared. "I haven't looked at you."
Nora wrapped her arms loosely around Rowan's neck. "Pay attention to me, Bottom!" She pressed a light kiss to the tip of the other woman's nose.
Rowan laughed and brought her face down so her lips were pressed to Nora's. She put her hands on her lower back and kissed her for a moment before pulling away. "Is that enough attention for you?" she asked.
Nora obliged at once and kissed Rowan back. She kept her arms wrapped around her and pulled her closer. "It'll never be enough attention but it'll work for now," She laughed and pressed a few more kisses all along Rowan's face.
Rowan laughed at the kisses being pressed onto her face. She grabbed Nora's face with one hand and kissed her mouth, down her cheek, along her jaw, and under her ear. "How about now," she asked quietly into her ear.
Nora shivered at the kisses that were placed along her cheek, jaw, and ear. She opened up her mouth to tell Rowan not to stop but was interrupted by the sound of the wake up alarm. Worst timing ever.
Rowan groaned. “Great.” She put her head under the water to wash off the soap Nora had put on her. She kissed her one last time and shut off the water. She reached a shelf outside of the shower that held towels and handed one to Nora. “Time to go I guess.”
Nora sighed heavily and finished rinsing off. “I swear they set those alarms off with such bad timing on purpose.” She took the towel from Rowan and started to quickly dry off. Being late would resort in punishment.

"I think they're watching us and trying to determine what the worst possible time would be to set off an alarm," Rowan sighed as she dried off. A door connected their bathroom to their room and she went through it to get clean clothes to change in to. The other girls were grumbling as they got out of bed.
(Oh, I think it was……Are you prepared for some heart breaking angst?)
Nora snorted before she nodded in agreement. “There are hidden cameras everywhere so they can watch us.” She wrapped the towel around herself and headed into the bedroom. Clothes laid out on the bed, neatly folded. She dropped the towel and worked on getting dressed.

"Oh my god," Rowan muttered as Nora dropped her towel. She turned away and got dressed quickly.
A week later, they had reached their destination. They were assigned to two-man ships to go down to the planet called Kepler-70c. They were in their uniforms but they would get their weapons once they reached the planet. The ship assignments were by bunkmate. Rowan sat down in one of the two chairs and started flipping switches and turning on the ship. "Ready to go?" she called to Nora, who had yet to enter the ship.
(Prepare for the pain! lol)
Nora picked at her uniform, disdain was written all over her face. She much preferred being able to wear her own clothes. That was not an option. "As ready as I'll ever be." She stepped onto the ship and flopped down on the open chair. "Could they have picked more unflattering and uncomfortable uniforms? This is just ridiculous. They can't expect us to try and fight in such stiff clothing." This is a topic that she had been ranting since the moment she laid eyes on the uniforms.
Rowan flexed her arms and looked down at them. She looked up at Nora and grinned. "I don't know, Nora. The uniform's working for me." She paused and looked at Nora. And that collar and those pants are really working for you, babe." This was her newest tactic when Nora complained about the uniforms. She would see how well it worked.
Nora narrowed her eyes at Rowan. "Babe, angel, darling, honey, sweetie, even I can't make these uniforms work. And I can make anything work. I mean, just look at 'em!" She scoffed and gestured down at her outfit with great distain. "You know that I love anything you wear but I'd have to be drunk as hell before I ever complimented this bullshit."
Rowan laughed. "Just get in the ship, we have to go. It'll be a twenty-minute ride and then you'll have other things on your mind."
“Yes, ma’am!” Nora mock saluted her before getting on the ship. She sat down and buckled up. “Let’s get going, Bottom. The sooner this is over with, the better.”
