(Maybe they meet up casually again? Like Cameron's hanging out somewhere waiting for a contract and Ava approaches him (and frightens the heck out of him lol))

Cameron had remained in the safer side of town today, relaxing on a rooftop on his stomach, chewing on his pistol and shifting his rifle so it rested more comfortably on his shoulder as he stared off into space. He wasn't expecting his contract until later, but he liked to come early, so he could relax and stretch. He didn't move whatsoever apart from the occasional chew of his pistol.

Ava hops from rooftop to rooftop, no target in mind today. Being cooped up in a tower for most of her time leaves her bored so she often just goes out to see what's going on in the city. She stops in her tracks when she's someone laying out on a rooftop. To her surprise, it's the man that she keeps running into. A devious grin tugs at her lips as she goes into stealth mode. She makes her way across the roof that separates them, not making a sound. Sneaking up behind him, she nudges his leg with her foot. "Boo!"

Cameron jumped and looked up at her, the pistol dropping out of his mouth. He had almost screamed, and if she asked if he did he wouldn't have admitted to it.
"Fuck, you scared me," He said exasperately, sitting up a little, his rifle still relaxed against his chest and shoulder. "The hell you doing out here?" She was very sneaky, and if she asked him about that he would've admitted it.

@LolaBug

Ava snickers at his reaction, overly smug that she had startled him. "That was the point," She tells him with a grin. "Nothing. I was bored so I was just going about my usual routine and then I saw you," Based on the guns that he has, she concludes that he's going to be doing something interesting. "What about you? What are you doing out here?" She returns the question.

Cameron hoisted his rifle higher on his shoulder with a sigh at the smug look on her eyes. He sat back and glanced down at the alley in case someone decided to come along and shrugged.
"I'm just waiting for a contract. And you're just making your rounds, huh?"

@LolaBug

Ava sits down beside him, not bothering to ask if it's okay. "Yup," She answers with a nod as she peers at the house across the street. It's not surprising but she has no idea who lives there. "Who's your target?" She questions, wondering what they did to have a hit put out on them.

Cameron yawned and laid back down, picking his pistol back up to continue chewing on it doggedly.
"Just some guy who raped another guy's girl. He's willing to pay handsomely, so I complied." He glanced at her, raising his eyebrows. "What are you doing out here? Rounds. What for?" He rambled to himself for a few moments, then ended on the question.

@LolaBug

Ava's body tenses at his words. "Let me kill this piece of shit for you. You still get your money and I get the satisfaction of knowing that there's one horrid person off of the streets." This guy is the perfect target for her. Everyone she kills is abusive, a rapist, a human trafficker, or someone equally as shitty. "Rounds to help pick my next target," She answers his question.

Cameron cocked his rifle, picking up quiet crunchings. He "shh"ed her softly and shook his head, mouthing 'Let me do it'. A rather skinny man with lank hair creeped into the alley, his lips turned up in a slight grin as he trotted to his favorite bar. Cameron leaned into his rifle and inhaled softly, holding his breath. He clicked off safety, and with a sharp chew on his pisol, shot the rifle with the same shoop noise, where it landed in his shoulder, and allowed him to bleed out most painfully.

@LolaBug

Ava scowls when he shushes her but complies nonetheless. When a scrawny looking man creeps into the ally, she resists the urge to jump him and beat him to death. She instead just watches as a bullet lodges itself into the man's shoulder. Him being shot isn't nearly as satisfying as killing him herself with one of her knives. Glancing over to the man on the roof next to her, she waits to see what he'll do next.

Cameron sat up, yawning and dropping the pistol. "Go ahead. I left the prey alive for you," He said with a soft chuckle. He leaned back and clicked safety back on his rifle, putting the strap back on it and glancing at her with a soft hum.

@LolaBug

"You are now my favorite person in the city," Ava tells him, flashing him a bright smile. She quickly gets up to her feet and hops off of the roof. Pulling out one of her knives, she stalks towards the man. For the next few minutes, she taunts him and beats him up a little before getting bored with her new toy. She soon puts him out of his misery by slitting his throat.

Cameron sat up again to watch her, grinning faintly at her apparent happiness with his blessing. Cameron watched, humming softly and polishing the spit off his gun, and was sitting back on his hands when she was done, lazily grinning at her.
"Have fun with your toy? Or did you break it already?" He teased with a soft chuckle, crunching stones under his fingers.

@LolaBug

Ava wipes the blood off of her knife and safely tucks it away. Glancing down at the body by her feet, she spits on it. "There's a special place in hell for you," She mutters before turning her head when she's spoken to. "I broke it already. He didn't last very long," She huffs, disappointed by this. "Thanks for letting me do that," She says sincerely. A real 'thank you' from her is an extremely rare occurrence.

"Yeah, you're welcome," Cameron hummed in response, slowly standing up. "Anyway, the police like to come here at night for their rounds, so I'd better get moving. You, too. You don't want to be caught at a scene like this." He turned and started to jog away, growing in speed before he lept off the edge and caught himself in a neat spin on the ground.

@LolaBug

"See ya around," Ava gives him a mock salute before swiftly exiting the area. Once she's back in the shadows, she takes off running. Sticking around long enough to the cops would be the end to her freedom as she knows it. Whistling, she gives the signal for Kreja to join her. It takes a little longer than usual but the dog arrives by her side. "Come on, let's go," She tells the dog with a small smile.

Cameron jogged to his home with soft hums, taking off his things and flinging them over his shoulder, so he looked like a man jogging home with a jacket over his shoulder than a hitman who just killed. He made it home without a pinch, walking inside and greeting his dog with a bright, big smile.
