I was thinking of a vigil-anti hero x a fluffy little cinnamon roll since I had an rp a while back that did really well with the concept. The vigil-anti hero has a day job and that where the two meet. The cinnamon role get jumped or hurt in a way and the hero has to come save them. They bond and start a relationship together.
Rules and other
- For the hero, I was thinking of a very flirtatious, affectionate and cocky when they meet the cinnamon role
- For the cinnamon role, very innocent and sweet, tries to brush of the other's flirting but also likes the affection.
- No smut, I'm fine with hinting at it and then skipping over it
- i'm fine with swearing just not every other word
- Please not one or two liners if possible, keep it detailed please
- I'd like to be the cinnamon roll if possible
- I'll post a template once someone joins
(Oof I'm in an RP with you already! I guess ill stalk =/ )
(yeah… I'll call you back if no one joins after a few days!)
(sure! Would you mind being the vigil anti hero character? Also, I didn't mention this before but would you like LGBTQ+ or do you want to keep this straight?)
(I'm chill with being the hero, and I'm in need of a cocky character. I'm also chill with LGBTQ+ or straight, so it's just up to you.)
(I think I'll do BxB if thats alright with you)

(Here we go. Let me know if I should change or fix anything. We also didn't establish an age range, so I just chose something. But that's subject to change of course.)
Name - Oliver Moore
Age - 25
Sexuality - Bisexual
Appearance - A strong and tall build, somewhere between a fit build and a lanky build. His skin is a rich ginger tone, littered with freckles that could be mistaken for glitter. His hair is a pale brown, fading into a more neutral tone and fluffy in texture. His eyes were originally a blue, though he wears bright yellow contacts most of the time. Tattooed up his left forearm is a snake.
Personality - Oliver will keep more to himself, and will let himself figure out his own problems. Unless he’s decided you’re worth his time, he couldn’t care less about you. His focus is to complete and achieve his goals, nothing else and no matter the cost. He’s not afraid to step on others to get where he needs to be. His personality could be based off “You wanna dance?”, in both the violent and enigmatic way, and he’ll end up just playing with people until he gets bored. If you for some reason spark his interest, congrats, you’re special. He’ll give you some attention. He’s got plenty of facades to put up.
Specific things that make your character likeable - Despite what he’s been doing with his life, some can see that they might’ve done the same thing. If they’d been faced with the same life, some of the things he does, add up. Though he might be going overboard. To those who matter to him, they experience a very loving version of Oliver. When he was child, he was also very loving and pure. No one can beat his hugs either.
Quirks - During day and night, Oliver has always got bubblegum on him and is chewing some. He is mainly remembered for the giant cat-eye sunglasses he wears throughout the day.
Fears - Oliver fears that all his work will go to waste, especially if he gets caught by authorities. He also fears that his actions won’t be enough or that he hasn’t done enough. He’s deathly afraid of large bodies of water and daffodils.
Likes - Bubblegum, soda, knives, guns
Dislikes - Large bodies of water, daffodils, frills, toothpaste
A bit of backstory - From before Oliver could start to remember things, something happened between his parents. He has no clue as to where his father went, and what is wrong with his mother. His mother has some kind of illness and she constantly says that it was his fathers fault. He managed to keep his life in order until near the end of grade school, before his mother got worse. Now, he’s ready to go and kill his father and save his mother, as well as everyone else who has this same ‘illness’.
Other - TBD
(AH I LOVE HIM!!! oh yes! for age I was thinking 20's if that alright, sorry bout that)
Name - Raziel (Raz) Thompson
Age - 21
Sexuality - Gay
Appearance - Short, lanky build, though he stays healthy. Brown, slightly curled hair that he has to constantly fight to keep back. Large green eyes that are framed by thick black grasses. A spattering of freckles on his cheeks. Skin is slightly pale. Facial features are slightly sharp. constantly likes to wear thick, oversized sweaters and hoodies that are always covered in fur from his dog, Jax. Favors wearing a blue flower crown
Personality - Very shy and cautious yet sweet. He likes being around those he's grown close to most. He's been betrayed one too many times for his liking so whenever he meets someone new he's extremely cautious around them. Is a massive bookworm so he will always appreciate some peace a quiet to let himself relax and get lost in a story.
Specific things that make your character likable - Always tries to look on the bright side, despite what everyone else thinks. He searches for the best in people until he finds it.
Quirks - Always has a good book recommendation for anyone. He tends to ramble on a lot about random things which can look very cute to others but he finds it embarrassing
Fears - Saying the wrong things or having his words and actions misinterpreted. Hates going out at night alone
likes - Reading, adores cuddling with anything, his dog Jax, hot chocolate
Dislikes - the dark when alone, coffee, people who mean to cause harm, being betrayed by those he had considered his friend
A bit of backstory - Raz is a publisher for local authors. he lives alone with his husky, Jax. When he was younger, he grew up with only his mother and his sister, his dad died of a heart attack. He had always loved going to school but was mostly bullied throughout it, even in college so he's always been very cautious about accepting new people in his life. In a previous relationship, his boyfriend cheated with another friend of his so that only brought his trust in people lower.
other - ….he a cinnamon roll
(I fixed it. And uh … Raziel is just so beautiful- must protecc. inner fangirling. I've just a bit of schoolwork and whatnot to finish this morning, and then I'll be relatively active for the next … maybe 15-ish hours?)
(same here and thank you! He's one of my favorite characters! I'll put up a starter in the mean time)
"Jax, wait pretty thing, I'm coming!" It had been ages since Jax and Raz had been able to go out for a proper walk, the winters in New York always apparently lasting for the better part of the year. Jax finally let up to allow his owner to catch up, his tail wagging high in the air and he bounced in place. Raz shook his head teasingly as he adjusted his back on his shoulder and his grip on the leash. "behave mister or we're going back inside." he scolded teasingly, Raz having never been good at scolding anyone. Thankfully his dog was a good boy so he relaxed slightly and remained by Raz' side for the duration of the walk.
When they finally made it to the park a few blocks from Raz little apartment, Raz settled down by a tree and unhook Jax' leash, "stay close, and don't you dare go bothering anyone else, got it?" he ruffled Jax' fluffy head, earning him kisses and nudges. "handsom thing, go play." he smiled and pulled a book from his bag.
Oliver kept picking at a bandage on the back of his neck, which probably just made it look like he had a really itchy neck. He’d pulled up his hood and worn actual gloves to try and cover the assorted bandaging plastered all over him. He wasn’t really helping himself out by picking at all of them though.
He tried to ignore the bandage now, pushing up his sunglasses. People would probably be focusing on that, wearing sunglasses in the winter. Oliver felt stylish in them, and his bubblegum helped keep in all the annoyance he felt towards the random passerby.
Today he’d take the long way around to the convenience store, to of course, buy more bubblegum. He’d have to spend more time around lots of people though, going through parks and whatnot. The past week was more eventful that necessary, and gave less results than wanted. This would only add up to a dangerous following week, and the purchase of bubblegum to go up.
Jax had begun to prance around the park, sniffing around trees and pushes as well as marking his territory and bounding around with a happy doggy smile. When he had had enough, he trotted back to Raz and flopped down next to him, swatting at Raz's book with his giant paw in order to get his attention. Raz peeked over the side and smiled at his fluffy companion. "What is it? you want me to play with you now, is that it?"
Jax stood and barked , crouching playfully before tugging at his jacket and trotting in a circle.
Raz laughed and pulled out a ball from his bag "all right crazy one, i'll give in." he stood and walked with Jax a little ways away from the tree. "ready?" he threw the ball near a green plane of grass, watching as Jax bounded after it with a bark
Oliver crossed the street, feeling relieved once the sight of the convenience store sign was in view. It wouldn’t matter if there was a sale or not, as long as he didn’t run out of bubblegum he’d be fine. He earned enough money anyway, both during the day and the night, to support his bubblegum addiction.
Thankfully, today, he only had to cover an afternoon shift for work too. It would be a good day, if no one interrupted it that is. He could rest tonight since he’d have to go over the past weeks findings.
Without bothering to stop, he picked out his bubblegum and pulled out his cash. The exact amount he needed was always ready for him, having bought so much gum and because he didn’t like wasting time.
“You’re total is $34.90,”
Just like that, Oliver was done buying his gum and ready to head off to that afternoon shift.
(how should they meet?I was thinking of raz loses jaxs or he gets stolen and someone at Oliver's work or even Oliver himself finds him and returns him?)
jax bounded back with the ball in his mouth and dropped it in front of Raz, sitting down patiently and waiting for it to be thrown again. Raz laughed and shook his head adoringly at his dog. "alright, go get it!" he threw the ball once again, this time throwing it behind him instead of in front of him which confused the heck out of Jax, who had gone bounding off to the field again and sniffing around. When walked back to Raz and whined softly when he couldn't find the ball and nudged his head against his leg.
Raz laughed and ruffled Jax's head, crouching down next to him and looking behind him at the ball that had come to a rest a little ways down a small hill. "huh, wonder what that is, is that your ball Jax? it it pretty boy?" Jax perked up and bounced around abit before bounding down the hill for the ball.
He came back shortly and dropped the ball again by Raz' feet before plopping his head on raz's knee, looking up at him with large amber eyes. "Aw, do you not trust me any more?" Raz hugged Jax and pressed a kiss to his head, "ready to go home?"
(That could probably work. I can put something in to help us with that. Jax could probably run away and one of the staff members could spot him and try and find Raz, they could probably bring Oliver along too.)
Oliver continued his way past more shops, until he reached his destination. He had a job at one of those retail stores that looked like they could be shady but have good staff.
He could keep his gum in the back, knowing that no one would try to even touch it. Almost no one visited either, being a corner store probably helped though, rather than being some small shop smushed between its competitors. Oliver honestly didn’t know how the store operated so well, the only reasonable explanation being that he just so happened to never be there on a busy day.
The only other person he had somewhat associated with, made it a habit of going out the greet every dog that passed by. If they would just try and get customers to come in and buy stuff at the same time, that would be a plus. Not that their pay would get any better.
(yeah! that'll work!)
Jax lifted his head up and barked in response. Raz laughed "alright, you promise to stay close if I don't leash you?" Jax wagged his tail and pressed close to Raz's side. Raz sighed softly and stood "good boy," he patted his head and picked up the ball and the book that was still by the tree. After a while of walking on the streets of new york, Jax got the bright idea of breaking out into a sprint. "Not again…." Raz groaned as he ran after Jax, hoodie flying in the wind as he frantically looked around for the dog. He knew Jax wouldn't go near the cars, the poor dog too afraid of the cars to get close to them but he still didn't want him to get lost, or worse stolen. "jax! come back!" he called, stopping by a street corner and looking around "damn it, please don't get hurt. Jax!"
“Hey Oliver! How’s it going?”
Here was Oliver’s dog loving associate, Wesley. The reason that Oliver had probably been called in to cover a shift was to really just make up for her slack.
Oliver had gotten his gum put away, and his name tag pinned on.
“You know, same old stuff-“ he pulled his hood off and pushed his sunglasses up so that they rested on his head. “Did you do anything yet?”
Wesley was looking out the window, probably searching for another dog. “I did the inventory check, and there were a couple of people who came this morning. But the other kid dealt with them … ooh!” Wesley had spotted another dog.
Oliver sighed, before he was being dragged outside.
“You’ve gotta come with me this time, then you can understand the power of a dog!”
Jax had taken a particular interest in a food vendor who was busy shooing him away to pay attention to his own customers. Jax whined when he didn't get food and continued to trot around, getting worried when he didn't smell Raz anywhere. He tilted his head slightly when he spotted two people come out of a shop and trotted over, hoping that they would have treats.
"Jax! where are you?!" Raz had been scanning the streets for 20 minutes, crossing over and crossing back on some streets he knew he took jax on almost every walk, hoping that eventually his dog would know to follow them, that or at least go home when he realized Raz wasn't close.
Wesley lit up when the dog approached her, clapping her hands excitedly, “See! Look at this Oliver!”
“I don’t think we should just abandon the store like that though …” He said.
Wesley completely ignored him, kneeling down to the dog and pulling out dog biscuits from who knows where. Oliver just stood there, watching Wesley shower the dog will compliments and cooing at it. Then Wesley was faced with the question of where their owner was.
Oliver was torn between going back to the store, not wanting to loose his job or anything, and staying with Wesley to keep the association intact.
Jax very much appreciated the attention and treats he was getting from Wesly, nudging up against her and 'awooing' in happiness. he glanced up at Oliver and tilted his head, wondering why the other human wasn't as excited to see him.
"There you are you little traitor!" Raz jogged up to the small group and clipped on his leash. "whoo, thank you so much for finding my baby, I honestly don't know what I'd do if he'd been lost!" raz said, crouching beside the large husky and ruffling his furry head "you gave me a heart attack Jax! I thought I told you not to run off!" He sighed softly and buried his face in the Husky's neck, laughing softly when jax licked his cheek "you jerk," he teased, shaking his head playfully and finally looking up at the two people. "I'm so sorry about him, he has a tendency to run off when he wants food or something. i hope he didn't cause any trouble."
Wesley started to say something, but Oliver cut her off, “They didn’t cause any trouble from what I saw. The only one who did cause some trouble … was my friend here.” Oliver pointed down to Wesley.
Wesley looked about ready to start an argument and deny that she did anything. Though Oliver mainly ignored her, cringing internally at his use of ‘friend’. He was just waiting for this shift to end and he could restock his bubblegum. At this point, he couldn’t care less about getting a customer in. He just needed to do whatever Wesley wasn’t doing, and get back home.
Raz looked up at the other man, being significantly taller than raz himself. he noticed with surprise that he had yellow eyes, or at least contacts in. He thought that it brought his whole look together quite nicely, with his sunglasses and his darker clothing and tattoos. "well, thanks again for finding him and for feeding him treats. I'm really sorry if he stopped you two from working, I'm sure you have something better to do than to find run away dogs." he scratched the back of his head and offered a sweet smile. Gods above he felt so guilty, he probably was bothering them more than Jax was now that he was apologizing so much!
"Uhm, I can leave you my phone number, in case you want some lunch or something, my treat for finding this little rascal." he offered, pulling a piece of paper from his bag along with a pen and scribbling down his number and giving it to the girl. "My name's Raziel, but people just call me Raz."
“I’m Wesley-“ she pointed to her name tag. “- and I’ll take the offer! As long as I get to spend even more time with this fluffy buddy!” Wesley exclaimed. “You can come too Oliver, since I’m pretty sure you’ll just be chewing your gum all day.”
Oliver wasn’t too sure about accepting Raziel’s offer, but Wesley sure was. He didn’t think anything was more important to Wesley than dogs, but clearly not. Unless … Wesley was just hoping for more time around this dog. That made more sense.
Oliver wanted to avoid more conflict, and figured that going for lunch once wouldn’t hurt. If it came to it, he could make something up and opt out.
“Yeah … alright Wesley. It was nice meeting you, and as you can see, I’m Oliver. I’m going to finish at the store now.”
