Laura nodded a bit, standing up and taking his hand once more.
"Yes sir." She hummed, resisting the urge to ask if it was alright. She knew it was fine- as she had probably asked a dozen times by now. But she really just wanted to make sure.
Ash stood, moving out of the room with Laura and towards the free bathroom.
"I'll get you your towel down," he said. "Is there anything else you need help with? I'm more than willing to if you need it."
"No sir, thank you, though." Laura smiled softly, holding the bundle of clothes to her chest.
She kept up to him, letting him lead her down the hall. "Will I be able to find you after I shower?"
"Yes," Ash said. He opened the door to the bathroom, stepping in. It was quite spacious, really. He went to the cabinet, pulling out a fluffy towel for Laura.
"I'll be in my room getting ready for the day. It's labeled, and right next to yours."
Laura nodded a bit, giving him a soft smile.
"And I won't be bothering you, if I come find you?" She asked in a soft tone, keeping the bundle close. "Because I can stay in my room, if you need space."
"You wouldn't be bothering me at all," Ash assured. He set the towel down, giving Laura a gentle smile.
"You can come to me whenever you need to. It would bother me if I find it you needed help but didn't come to me, or anyone for it."
(I'm so sorry I wasn't on much today. Just as a heads up, these next couple of days are going to be the same. Especially this Friday.)
"You're sure? I really don't want to be in your way…" Laura mumbled a little, walking up to where he had set the towel. She dropped the small stack of clothes on top, glancing over to him.
"You do work here, after all… right?"
(Ah, okay!)
"I do. But helping you is more important then that." Ash let out a soft breath.
"It's fine, Ms. Laura."
Laura nodded a little, letting out a soft sigh. "Alright… I'm sorry I keep asking… I just want to make sure…"
She glanced up at him, tucking her hair back out of her face. Though it didn't do much as it fell right back in front of her face.
"You can ask as much as you need to too feel okay," Ash said. He gently smiled.
"I'll give you some privacy to get your shower, okay? You should be able to reach anything you need. And if you need me, I'll be in my room," he said one last time, moving to the door.
"Yes sir, thank you." Laura smiled softly, standing there in the middle of the bathroom.
"I'll… I'll come get you when I'm done." She mumbled a little. "Or, um… just let you know I'm done. Whatever you're okay with."
"You can come get me," Ash confirmed. He stepped out now, smiling softly as he cooked the door. He made his way to the room, getting ready to change.
Laura showered rather quickly, and had changed into her clothes. Her hair was still drippy wet, but she had the towel over her shoulders to try and catch the water. Quietly she came up to his door, knocking on it softly.
"Sir? Are you still in there?"
After a moment, Ash opened the door. He was in simple jeans and a t shirt, since he wasn't working today.
"I'm here," he said with a smile. "Do you need some help with your hair?" He glanced at her wet hair, still smiling gently.
“Huh?” Laura asked confused, tucking it back behind her ear.
“Oh- to dry it? Um… if- if you wouldn’t mind. That would probably be a smart idea.”
Ash nodded a bit.
"Here, we can go to your room to do it." He smiled, closing his door. He gently offered his hand to Laura.
Laura smiled softly, taking his hand when it was offered to her.
"Thank you, sir." She hummed a bit, gently pulling him over to her room. "How are we going to dry it?"
Ash came into the room, motioning for Laura to have a seat. He grabbed a brush, gently starting with her hair.
"Well, I'm thinking I can brush it out, then we'll use the towel. If you're comfortable with it, we could use a air dryer, but if you can't then we'll just do it by hand. I prefer that way anyway." He hummed softly as he brushed her hair, starting at the bottom and carefully teasing out any tangles.
Laura listened to him as he started to brush her hair, trying to keep her head still as he did so.
"Towel drying it, is fine. I don't really care either way." She hummed with a little shrug, turning her head a little to smile at him.
"Whatever you want to do, is alright. It's up to you."
Ash nodded a bit, smiling back.
"It's your hair, Ms. Laura. As long as you're okay with it, though." He ran the brush through the girl's hair a few more times, then picked the towel up a bit off her shoulders. He gently patted away the excess water, then carefully started to rub her hair, making sure not to hurt her.
"I know it's my hair, but I really don't care. As long as it gets dried, I guess." Laura shrugged a bit, enjoying the feeling of the brush running through her hair. When there were no more tangles, that is.
As Mr. Ash began to rub her hair with the towel, she tilted her head back to smile at him.
Ash smiled back, nodding a bit. He rubbed her scalp with the towel, setting it aside a moment to run his fingers through it. He continued like this till it was mostly dry, then started to brush it again.
"Is there anything you'd like to do today? I do have a free day, after all."
“Mm… I don’t really have anything… if tomorrow is Monday, l’ve got school.” Laura mumbled a little, keeping up a smile as he ran his fingers through her hair.
“But besides that, I don’t really know what we would do.” She mumbled a little. When he was done with her hair, she turned around to face him.
"I see." Ash smiled, sitting down a moment. "Well, there are a few things that we could do. Is there anything in particular you like to do."
"Umm… I really don't know…" Laura mumbled, starting to play with a strand of her hair. "What is there to do? I really don't have much of an opinion."
