He bit his lip as the blush bloomed some more. "Umm, I'm not really studying in college at the moment. I go to this school… But it's not really what you'd think if someone said college." He chuckled. "Then prepare to be surprised, because I'm not planning on being a linguist. I don't know what I really want to do with my life." He snorted. "Well, okay. I do know that I don't want to have anything to do with the… Ah… Family business."
“Family business?” He tilted his head to the side, making him look much like a curious puppy, “Why don’t you want to continue it?”
"Because it's not for me," he said simply. "For them, everything has to be perfect and just right. Follow every rule, dot every i and cross every t. I'm not like that. I prefer to have some fun, and I definitely can't boss people around."
Ollie hummed a little, "I guess that makes sense. You shouldn't spend your life doing something you don't want to do. What do you want to do?"
Wolf blew out a breath. "I dunno, honestly. I'm just kinda wondering aimlessly until I find something." And someone, but he didn't mention that.
He smiled softly up at him before drawing circles with a stick in the dirt, “I understand. You’ll find something you’ll fall in love with, and when you do I know you’ll be amazing at it.”
Okay, now Wolf was really blushing. "R-right. Thanks." He ducked his head and watched Ollie from the corner of his eye. He's so cute…
He grinned, his entire facing lighting up as he did so, “You’re welcome.” He turned his attention back to the circles, resting his hand in his free hand.
His body froze as his eyes turned a milky white. In his mind, he saw a hazy picture of him and Ollie getting really close, their faces mere inches apart and getting closer…
He blinked, and the vision was gone. But not from his memory. He covered his face to hide the redness. Ollie didn't see it, as it was a Seer vision, but still.
Ollie sensed that Wolf had frozen though he didn't know why which caused him to pout a little as he tried to figure it out.
Wolf saw the pout through his fingers and nearly melted. How did I not notice he's so adorable. Like a puppy.
Eventually, with a small sigh, he gave up, though he still looked like he was pouting a little due to his bottom lip being bigger then his top, something Ollie hated about himself.
Wolf tilted his head, trying to distract himself from Ollie's lips. "What?"
"Hm? O-Oh, y-you stiffened and I-I was trying to figure o-out wh-what I'd done wrong…" Ollie replied quietly, refusing to look up.
Wolf's eyes went wide. "Wait… Nononono, you didn't do anything wrong. It was just something that happens to me at random times. It had nothing to do with you." A partial lie, but that wasn't the point he was trying to make. He ducked his head so that he could look into Ollie's eyes. "I promise."
Ollie opened his mouth to speak, then closed it and looked down. He didn't trust promises, they were always broken when it came to him. Eventually, he looked back up a bit his lip, "Y-You're sure?" He whispered.
Wolf nodded. Should he tell him? Ollie seemed like someone that could keep his secret. Well, it wasn't a huge secret, so he guessed it wasn't that bad if he spilled it. "I'm a Seer. I can look into the near future, or farther down the line–though the visions for the latter are vague and have more possibilities. I froze because I got a vision."
Ollie's eyes widened a little in curiosity and surprise, "R-Really? That's cool." He wanted to ask what the vision was but that would be prying and had got him punished in the past so he wasn't going to. If Wolf wanted to tell him he would, if he didn't he'd have to live with that.
He rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, I guess. Some things are important, others aren't. Some are better left unsaid…" he trailed off, feeling bad about not telling Ollie. But that vision was probably not the best thing to share with him, considering what had happened and how clear the vision had been…
Ollie nodded, looking down at the palms of his hands, "That's true…" He sighed softly, "I'd prefer that over what I can do…" He mumbled, hoping Wolf hadn't heard him though he had no doubt he had.
He tilted his head curiously. "What can you do? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I won't pry."
Ollie took a deep breath, "W-Well, I'm… half demon. S-So I can teleport, control people all that…" He winced as he spoke. He braced himself to be pushed, kicked or hit. Waited to be told he was better off dead, useless, scum or worthless like his dad did and said.
Wolf didn't do any of those things. Instead, he seemed to perk up. "My friend's half demon, too! And my sister has three demon familiars." He scratched his head. "I guess you could say I'm well acquainted with demons."
Ollie nearly breathed a sigh of relief, but he held it in. It sounded too good to be true but he looked back up at Wolf and blinked once, the only sign of his shook and it was clear he was still slightly on guard, "Really? I-I thought… never mind. I d-don't know any others… well, I don't know any that are my friends…"
Wolf's face softened as he looked at Ollie. He didn't know what to say, but he could tell Ollie has a rough life. It must suck. And by his reactions to his parents… I wish I could help some way.
