"It's not the worst, I mean, they haven't made any final decisions about who's going to become heir, bit if they choose me I'm leaving." She tilted her head slightly and looked at his injured wing, "Are you sure your wing is going to be ok?"

@Norepinephrinxx

"I guess we hope they don't choose you." He gave a lopsided smile. He looked over at his injured wing, it was sore and it hurt to move it. "Yeah it should be fine, although I guess I'm stuck here until he heals."

@gracehustle

She looked at his wing again and pointed at the ocean, "I can go see if there's anything you could use to help heal your wing faster." She looked up at the sky again and smiled, remembering why she wanted to be able to fly.

@Norepinephrinxx

"Hm, we might be able to find something that could help but I don't know a lot about medicine, I could probably make a sort of splint later." He explained looking back onto the island to see what was there.

@gracehustle

"I can find something, I'll be right back. If you could find something to hold your wing in place I know a few things that can help it heal faster." She pushed herself back away from the island and smiled, "I'll be right back I promise." She said before flicking her tail and disappearing into the dark ocean.

@Norepinephrinxx

"Alright." He answered with a kind smile, after she left he got up off the sand and walked father onto the island to find something to make a split out of.

@gracehustle

A small smile appeared on her face as she swam towards the city. She knew that there were places she could get medicine, the only problem was going to be getting into her house and getting money without her parents knowing. She came up on the city and stopped on the edge, slowly swimming in as she looked for anyone that would recognise her.

@Norepinephrinxx

Keiran walked through the woods looking for anything of use, the island wasnt big but it had some trees and plants so he hoped he would be able to find something. He eventually found a long and strong enough broken branch and some vine which he used to carefully tie the stick to his wing so he couldn't bend it, only move it back and forth.

@gracehustle

Nautia got back to her house without anyone seeing her and she slipped inside, going straight to her room and grabbing her money to but medicine. She swam back outside and went straight to the place she bought supplies form every time she went, getting two jars of different things to try. As soon as she bought them she started back towards the island, swimming as fast and as silently as she could.

@Norepinephrinxx

Once Keiran finished splinting his wing he walked back to the beach where he was talking to Naudia before, she wasn't back yet so he sat down in the sand and waited, picking out constellations in the stars to pass the time.

@gracehustle

(I'm so sorry I didn't respond, this tab was open on my phone and I forgot (also I'm sorry it's short))
She reached the shallow water that told her the island was there quite quickly, poking her head out of the water and smiling as she swam closer. "Kieran?" She said, "I have the medicine."

@Norepinephrinxx

(Of course, no problem!)
The sound of Nautias voice caught his attention and his resting face shifted into a happier one. He smiled and walked out into the water to where she was. "Really? Great! Thankyou" He sat down in the shallow water so that they could be closer to eye level.

@gracehustle

She smiled proudly, holding out the jars for him to take so that she could pull herself closer to the island. "You're welcome." She said, looking up at the beautiful night sky before glancing back at him.

@gracehustle

She pointed to the smaller of the two jars, "This one is a pain reliever of sorts, I don't remember exactly what is in it." Nautia pulled herself closer to the island with her arms before pointing to the other one, "This one is one that will help heal your wing faster and it's antibacterial."

@Norepinephrinxx

"Wow." He put the jar down beside into his lap, his face got serious but kind. "Thankyou for helping me." He said genuinely, looking her in the eyes. He probably would have died if it wasn't for her help.

@gracehustle

A light blush appeared on her cheeks and she nodded, smiling as she did, "You're welcome, tell me if you need anything else." She rolled onto her back and looked up at the stars, counting them one at a time and naming the ones she knew by heart.

@Norepinephrinxx

Keiran took the medicines, hoping they would kick in soon before leaning back on his elbows and joining Nautia in her star gazing.
(Sorry I have work today so I probably won't be on much)

@Norepinephrinxx

"Some but not all, everyone has their own wags of navigation whether it be the sun or landmarks or pure intuition but I personally use the stars to navigate." He explained, thinking of people he knew who travelled and shared their tips on navigation with him.

@gracehustle

Nautia nodded, "That sounds amazing," She smiled softly and looked over at him again, "Do they ever just go out and stargaze for fun? When they're not flying?" Her tail slapped against the water softly and she ignored it, completely used to that.

@Norepinephrinxx

"Again not everyone, most people enjoy the sunny weather during the day but I've always prefered the nighttime." He answered. "What about you? Do lots of your people stargaze or what do they do for fun?" He asked curiously, Keiran had heard few tales of mermaids when he was young but be never thought they were real.

@gracehustle

She shook her head, "I'm one of the very few that actually are interested in the world beside out own, most of the others are perfectally content with never seeing the stars or the sunrise." She looked at the dark ocean and then back at Keiran, "Some make a sport out of trying to swim with agitated sharks, others devote their lives to cataloging every new species that that find in the Deep Trench. It's really just whatever you want to do within reason, some people have tried to pass as humans and see if the Loch Ness Monster is real, those people are the ones that you usually never see again."

@gracehustle

Nauta nodded, "I agree, though there has to be a limit somewhere, like not talking or associating with humans. That rule is there to keep the ocean and its inhabitants safe." She scanned the sky and sighed, "But rules like that can also be stupid, like you can't change into your human form if you're in the open or even anywhere that you could be caught."
