When his paper got passed back, in the form of a sealed envelope with his nameon it, Arsen carefully opened it, hiding a wince as he sliced his finger on the edge of the paper. He slipped the folded paper from the envelope, unfolded it, and scanned it.

Arsen N. Silversen
Year Four
Tanamara University
Mission: Eliminate Jonathan Liapar, betrayer to the country
Time Span: 2 weeks
Packing Time: 2 days
Partner: Joanna Henaghan

There were extra pieces of paper in the back, clues about the man he was supposed to eliminate, but his eyes could only see the name of his partner. Joanna Henaghan? He was stuck with her? His grip tightened on the piece of paper, wrinkling it, almost ripping it. He glared at it as if it personally had offended him - which it had - and glanced over the room, looking for her. Their eyes met, and he glared at her, anger in every part of him.

Joanna gave Arsen a confused look, but it clicked in the back of her head. Her eyes growing wide, she quickly opened the envelope, and yanked the paper out. Her heart sank, and her face did too.

"No!" She cried softly. She rubbed her face and looked back up at Arsen, annoyance painted down her face.

@PrettyLittlePyro

If looks coul kill… Arsen glowered at the principal and Jo, his face alight with hatred. Others were walking around, sharing what they got and who they got, chattering excitedly. He stood, marching out of the room.

@PrettyLittlePyro

The principal, Mr. Marten, glanced over. "Yes, young lady? Can I help you with something?" He was neatly dressed, as usual, but his normally calm demeanor was a bit frazzled and tired.

"Sir, I think there must have been a mistake, with names that is. Everybody knows me and him just can't get along." Joanna said standing and walking over to him. "Isn't there anyone else I can be partners with? Literally anyone else?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

"I'm sorry, dear," he said, looking nervous as a large, buff man came into the room and called his name. "But I didn't pick the partners. The system did, according to who qould work best with who. I cannot change it, and it is already on the permanent record. I'm sorry, but I can change nothing." And with a small, slightly sympathetic glance back at her, he hurried toward the man.

Joanna felt her heart sink further, her eyes burned, and she felt dizzy. She ran out the door, and bolted off outside dropping down into the grass and starring at the sky. She didn't know where else to go, not to any of her friends, that's for sure. She didn't want sympathy, she just wanted someone to actually do something.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Arsen stormed to his room and slammed his door shut. It gave a loud bang and he found some comfort in the noise. He slammed his fist into the wall, growling in annoyance. Why was he stuck with her? It was as if the universe hated him.

He hoped that he could switch partners. But it was unlikely.

(Time skip?)

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Sorry this took so long!)

The car the two of them were supposed to ride in was small and clean. It didn't appear too noticable, but it was in good condition. There were only fice seats in it, and there was going to be a driver, so in order to avoid Jo, Arsen sat in the front. He got less space, but at least he didn't have to look at her.

Before all of their stuff had been loaded into the trunk of the car, Arsen had been handed a thick envelope, full of paper. He had taken one look at it and snorted. It was the mission information, including where they would be going. The System didn't want them knowing anything, so that they can't prepare ahead of time, and have to rely on their wits and whatever they deemed necesary to pack. He would read it in the car, and give it to his… partner later.

As he sat in the front, waiting for her so that they could leave, he carefully pulled the first packet of papers out. The first read:

Mission: Eliminate Jonathan Liaper
Time Span: 2 weeks
Monitered By: Purple Grapes (Runner level four)

Target: Jonathan Liaper
Age: 47
Sex: Male
Crime: Former System agent, betrayed country secrets to others, leaked countless secrets
Occupation: Accountant for Wolfe Incorperated
Current Residence: New York City, New York, USA
Other Inforation: Every year, on the third of January, Liaper goes to a Christmas party hosted by the Wolfe Corp owners. This year, it is at the Rockefeller Center, and we have learned that there will be some of his former information traders there. Eliminate him. The entire corperation is full of spies and traitors, and so it will be your job to hunt Liaper down, bring him back, question him about his suspicious doings the past few years, kill him, and blow up the gala. Getting the Wolfe brothers would be a bonus, but it is not needed, nor required. Tread cautiously. There are many who would like to get him for themselves.

There was a picture below that, of a middle-aged man with graying hair and smile lines, and cold gray eyes.

The first move will be to get to New York. There has been a flight arranged, on the Higher Airlines. Tickets are inside. Rooms in the Plaza Hotel have been reserved for you, rooms 310 and 311. Simply say that F. Jackson reserved some rooms for you, and you will be led there right away. The staff know not to ask any questions.

You will go as Daria and Lucas Fellin, a newly married couple. The invitation to the Gala we managed to get, but tread carefully. The Wolfes have some very well-minted spies. You will be there on a business trip, from Luna International, and want to sell some things to the famous John Leopard, as Liaper calls himself. He has caught your attention, and you want him into your company.

The information about their profiles was the next page, as well as how to act and the right questions to ask and all about their "jobs."

Arsen glared at the paper. No way was he pretending to be her husband! He wrinkled his nose in disgust.

(It's all good!! I'm sorry mine isn't near as long lol)

Joanna shut the trunk and waved off the driver trying to hold the door for her. She got in, and climbed in towards the back. She buckled in and looked out the window, avoiding eye or any sort of contact with the monster of a person up front. He had ignored her, and she was going to try and make amends with him for this mission. But that didn't happen. So now she was trying to avoid him and make this difficult for both of them.

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Oh, you're fine. I get that. I usually hate writing long ones 'coz they take so long… this one lacks detail because I'm lazy.)

The car started. Arsen finished reading through the papers and jammed them back into the envelope, wrinkling a few. He tossed it into the back. "Mission Info," was all he said, in a cold, tight voice. He hoped he didn't have to talk to her much at all. "Give it back when you're done, and I'll burn it."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

(XD That's how I feel most the time)

"With what, with a tone like that I'd assume it'd already be frozen to the core." She snapped pulling out the papers and smoothing them out. She read over them, slowly.

Her jaw dropped before she clenched it tightly. "No. I refuse." She muttered stuffing the papers back and tossing it at his head.

@PrettyLittlePyro

He caught it. "Do what I say and we'll get this over with and never have to see each other again." He took a deep breath, and his eyes glowed light, blinding blue. The paper tore to pieces and vanished. He had ripped apart the energy that made it up, soaking it into himself for later use.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Good." He felt relieved. She didn't argue with him - and she could be very persuasive when she wanted to, and infuriating - she was going to do what he said, and she wasn't going to talk. This might be easy after all.

@PrettyLittlePyro

When they got to the airport, the driver helped them get their bags out, and then left. Arsen grabbed his bags and went in.

When they on the plane, he was annoyed to learn that he had to sit next to her. Could he ever have any peace?
