Yrelta, a world much like Earth only with some few significant differences. For one, the world is vacant of nearly all colour, the world set in darkness and grey. They have three moons, but the main difference is The World Walkers.
World Walkers are people who have the ability to travel through the void and into other universes. They're highly trained and highly respected in Yrelta's main city, Kerrian.
World Walkers carry out tasks and missions, help save other worlds from danger and their own if need be.
Alex Lowe is a closed off, reserved and stand off-ish person. He's known for being cold and blunt, not beating around the bush and getting right to the task. He has a temper, one he tries to keep under control but dealing with idiots doesn't help.
When Yrelta comes under threat, Alex is tasked with traveling to Earth and finding the boy who is able to help them.
This boy has extraordinary power that not even he knows how to unlock and master, and Alex has to help and guide him if his world is going to survive.
Okay, I have way too many roleplays and too little time but honestly I wanted to do a roleplay that kinda fleshes out the world in my book a little more. The last time I did this it died pretty quickly so…
Yes this will be gay. It'll contain gore, swearing and shit like that so be prepared.
I'll post a temp if anyone is interested.
(This looks really cool, could I join?)
(aahhh this looks cool but looks like it's already closed. @Carrots, if you're willing to do two of this and do one with me, awesome. If not, that's okay, and this is a really cool looking RP)
(Hey guys! Yes, Cally you can join this one and I’m totally down for making another to with you Ice!)
(Great! Thanks for letting me join)
(awesome thank you so much!)
(You’re welcome! Cally, here’s a temp for you to fill out unless you already have a character in mind?)

(Sorry this took so long, I went to go get dinner)
Name: Adrien Dristi
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Appearance: Tall and just on the unhealthy side of thin with heavy eye bags and freckles all over. His skin is a dusty brown, his hair a darker color two shades away from being grey and constantly a mess of wild curls. Most of him seems faded and past it's prime with the glaring exception of his eyes. Adrien's eyes are ice blue and vivid, alive with a manic energy that's missing from the rest of him. His resting expression is whistful and far away, and it's often hard to tell what he's thinking about. There's a large scar over his sternum from repeated chest surgery and a tattoo of a sparrow on his wrist.
Personality: Adrien is kind of a grouch, but once you get through the angsty exterior you find a kid desperate for genuine connection. He's quite the pessimist and overly cynical most of the time but has a few interests that fill him with childlike wonder. It's easy to annoy him and he rarely opens up, but when treated with respect and care he'll spill just about everything. Being pitied is something he absolutely despises, as is being treated like he's broken or fragile.
Backstory: Adrien's heart works very poorly, so he spent his entire early childhood in the hospital and most of his teenage years almost certain he was about to die. He bounced from surgery to surgery, never really able to fix the problem until- wonder of wonders- a prestigious surgeon agreed to give him an experimental procedure. It left him with constant chest pain and periods of dizziness and nausea and a heart that no longer stopped working once a week.
Likes: Dark humor, conspiracy theories, black coffee, music, cryptids
Dislikes: Sympathy, people who pry, hospitals, being treated differently from other people
Other: Constantly on painkillers, wacky sleep schedule
( all good, here’s Alex
Invalid Character - also, Adrien needs to have some kind of power that he either knows or doesn’t know about yet but other then that he’s great :)
Ready to start?)
(Thanks! Adrien normally has power over the weather when applicable, so I guess that's his magic. I think having hm not know about it might add to the plot, so he's going to be oblivious. Anyways, I'm going to add a couple things to his sheet in a sec, but other than that I'm ready to start!)
(Just updated the template :)
(Okay cool!)
The howling and the screaming could be heard in the distance, along with the crackling of fire and the scrape of metal on metal. The darkness helped the badly injured World Walker make it through the forest and avoid the hideous creatures called Night Stalkers from drawing too close to him.
His limbs burned with the strain of running and fighting, the sword at his side an extra weight he had to crazy but he wouldn’t drop it, he never would. He was bloodied and bruised and drained of nearly all power but he had at least two jumps left. He could make it to Earth, but barely.
He dodged a falling tree, the screeching of the Night Stalkers drawing closer. He made His jump then, darkness enclosing around him like a constricting blanket before he came out the other side. The blindness of the sun hit him first and he screwed his eyes shut as he stumbled and then fell onto the concrete path, blood hitting the pavement. He could barely move without pain driving through him like a sledge hammer.
He'd been taking a shortcut back to his house when he heard it- the sickening thud of flesh against concrete. Adrien wanted to walk away, to pretend like this wasn't happening, but the sound kept replaying in his head, badgering his senses until he finally turned the corner and saw him.
The man was sprawled out on the ground, bleeding from a dozen different wounds and clutching- Jesus, was that a sword!? He wasn't moving and Adrien wasn't going to get close enough to this guy to check his pulse so he settled for tiptoeing forward and nudging the guy with the tip of his converse.
"Hey man, you still alive?" Adrien nudged him harder. "You really don't wanna die right here. It's not exactly the nicest place. I mean, there's an empty beer bottle, like, right beside your head. At least die in a nice meadow or something."
Alex groaned, slowly pushing himself up onto his knees, “I’m not dead yet so it doesn’t matter.” He grumbled. His senses were all muddled and he couldn’t focus on anything really. If he could, he would know that the guy he was looking for was standing right bedside him.
"Oh thank god." Adrien sighed with relief, backing away from the man until he was a safe 5 feet away. He glanced behind him on the path, surprised that there was nothing around. What had beat this poor guy black and blue? And why was he holding a sword? "Is there a renaissance fair in town that I didn't hear about? Or are you drunk?"
Alex narrowed his eyes on the floor. Drunk? He wasn’t drunk. Then again this guy wouldn’t know or even probably believe him about that as going on, “I’m not drunk. And no, there isn’t a… a whatever other thing you said either.” He used his sword to help himself stand.
Adrien raised an eyebrow, giving the guy a disbelieving once over and then leveling him with a critical glare. "Then explain the sword. And all the bleeding. And why you just randomly collapsed like a block away from my house."
Alex returned the glare with one of his own, "The sword is mine, used for fighting. Or did you not know what a weapon of its kind does? As for the bleeding, I'm injured, and I had no idea your house was a block away."
Adrien's glare narrowed into something colder and meaner. "I haven't ever seen a sword outside a museum or a fantasy movie, dickhead. It's 2019, forgive me for being curious about why you're using something that's been obsolete for decades. I'll leave you to bleed out on the pavement, have a nice day." A storm started to gather overhead, thunder rumbling quietly in the distance.
Alex’s head snapped towards the storm, senses clearing just enough to realise what was happening, “Okay, I’m a dick, but unless you want to zap us with lightening you need to calm down and get in control of your storm.” He prayed the other knew what he was talking about.
"Don't tell me to calm down," Adrien growled. The stormclouds overhead darkened, thunder growing from a quiet rumble to a hushed roar. "I haven't seen this much blood since I popped my stitches last year and I thought you were dead. Do you know how scary it is to find a dead body?"
“Yes I do. And not just one, multiple as a matter of fact,” Alex knew it was a bad idea to provoke the other more, “But seriously, unless you know how to control that,” He jerked his head up to the storm, “Then I need you to calm down.”
Adrien looked up at the sky for the first time. "Listen, I can't fucking control the weather." The thunder rumbled in what seemed like agreement and Adrien paled slightly. Was that normal? "Jesus, you're going to make me just as insane as you are, aren't you? I'm just a normal guy! I can't make this," he waved his hand up at the storm, "do anything."
