She turned pink at his words. "Yes."
She turned pink at his words. "Yes."
He nodded, staying with her a moment longer before standing "you haven't heard any activity from them either I'm guessing?"
"No. It's making me anxious," she replied, standing up with him.
"hm, weird. We should get there as soon as possible then, in case something did happen." he said, heading back into the house
"Okay," she replied with a nod. "What if they are there? They clearly have something planned – why else would Rook only steal viruses? What do you think they're going to do?"
He sighed, already feeling overwhelmed "I'm not sure, whatever it is, it's probably well underway, more now than ever since he found help."
Marina sighed. "Then we should probably head back now and look."
He nodded walking up to his mother and placing a kiss on her cheek "Adios mama, We've got to go." She nodded "be careful Castiel, you too Marina. I don't know what I'd do if either of you got hurt."
He nodded, silently repeating the vow he had made ever since his father left, that no matter what happened, he'd always come back."
"I promise that I'll bring him home safe," Marina told Lena with a wink. "Come on, Cas."
She nodded "and no more launching yourself off buildings, the both of you." she called after them with a smile
"I'm coming, I'm coming," he called "and I can take care of myself thank you very much." he smiled teasingly "of course with some assistance."
"And that's where I come in," she purred, walking beside him.
He nodded and laced hands with her "What the hell would I do without you?" he askd, shaking his head
"Probably die," she teased.
"i do love to dance with death," he said whistfully "staying alive is fun too though."
"Why dance with death when you can dance with me?" she asked softly, a sparkling look in her eyes.
he gave her lopsided smile and tugged her into his arms "why not indeed my love." he said with a heavy spanish accent.
She smiled. "But let's save the dancing for when we get back. Right now, people could be dying."
"fiiine," he sighed "I still don't get why they need the serum…" He mused
(I am so sorry guys, I've had so much on my pate, sorry I didn't post sooner.)
"Congratulations on the viruses," she admitted, eyeing him. Mania pulled back, crossing her arms. "I want to see this OTP for myself though. Promise you'll take me next time?" she pleaded exaggeratedly.
Rook grinned. "I doubt I could keep you from coming. And I see past this facade, I know you're angry with me."
(your good joy, everyone has lives outside of notebook, we get that XD all is good my dude!)
Mania arched a penciled eyebrow. "Glad to see you can still read us lowly outcasts."
She turned on her heels, striding towards the kitchen. "Are they going to be fun to break?" she asked, turning back to face Rook and walking backwards. "I'll need to prepare. It's been a while since I've been out, thanks to you," she sneered, sending a jolt of pain up Rook's leg.
(if they're allowed to use their powers on each other that is)
(Totally!)
Rook winced hard. "Mania, you know I…. you know what, I'm sorry. You're right. But we had to stick to the plan!!!"
"fiiine," he sighed "I still don't get why they need the serum…" He mused
"I don't think that's something I want to find out," Marina answered.
She sighed dramatically, pulling open a cupboard in the kitchen.
"I'm sick of this back and forth. You hungry?"
"Very. Anything good, or do we need to send out an order for groceries?"
