@gracehustle

(Maybe you could have some vampires or something discussing how much they'll take her for, maybe in a city or something like that, I'm not too picky)

@SaltyLasagna

(sorry, been busy and I've got lots of chats to get through.
do you think we can move through that part quickly? roleplaying without interacting with other people's characters can get a bit awkward after too long, it makes me feel like I'm talking to myself)

@SaltyLasagna

(well if you want to do it I'm fine with it, I just feel like the RP gets a little… dry if there's not a lot of interaction between characters)

@gracehustle

(I agree, we can just skip over that part then. Maybe Abbadon could find her running or something? Maybe she got away and is hiding somewhere and he finds her?)

@gracehustle

(Alright)
Alex was breathing heavily, she had finally gotten away from the others. She collapsed behind a garbage bin in an alleyway and put a hand over her neck, feeling what must've been a bite mark. "They were right.." She whispered, bringing her legs up to her chest as she tried to imagine what her life as a vampire was going to be like.

@SaltyLasagna

Abaddon buttoned up his jacket, stepping out of his car. Today, the young woman he had turned was supposed to be sold. He didn't really want to go, as he had no intention of buying the person whose life he had just ruined, but not showing up at an auction was considered insulting to the council. He sighed, longing for a cigarette to relieve the stress, but he ignored his urges. He closed his car door, about to make his way over to the building before an intoxicating, but peculiar scent caught his attention.

@gracehustle

She shook her head, not believing any of it. She stood up slowly and peeked over the top of the garbage bin, putting a hand protectively over the bite as she walked to the end of the alleway and looked around for anyone who might recognize her. Nothing made sense at this point and she was just focused on finding her friends and family, not having any idea of what happened to them.

@SaltyLasagna

His ears twitched as he listened to the sounds around him. Movement, he thought as he heard the rustling of clothing near a garbage bin. Slowly, he made his way over to the source of the sound, eyes fixed on the spot.

@gracehustle

The faint sound of footsteps made her freeze and she whipped her head around, looking for the source of the noise. Her eyes widened when she realized it might be one of the vampires from before trying to capture her again and she pulled herself back into a ball, her hand still over her neck.

@SaltyLasagna

The scent was growing stronger by the second. He recognized it. It was a vampire who was turning. He was unable to stop himself from quickly making his way toward the source, almost breaking out into a run. His mind was foggy with the craving for blood.

@gracehustle

Alex heard the footsteps louder this time, getting ready to defend herself if it was one of the vampires from before. She took her hand off of her neck and got into a crouch, curling her hands into fists incase she needed to fight.

@SaltyLasagna

Abaddon stopped at an alley and looked down. The scent was strongest there. He slowly walked down it, searching for whoever was. The scent is… familiar, he thought, frowning a bit. Normally, he would've been able to figure out exactly why it was familiar, but his foggy mind blocked out all common sense.

@gracehustle

Her body screamed for her to stay still but she didn't listen, the footsteps coming nearer. She sprang up from her hiding spot and whipped her head around, focusing on the person that was slowly coming closer. She scowled at the figure and took a step back, putting her arms up in front of herself, "Go away." She tried to yell, though it came out more like a shaky croak.

@SaltyLasagna

Abaddon froze when he saw her. His mind suddenly cleared, like he had just broken a trance. "You," he whispered, looking her up and down. "You're the girl that just got turned. The one that they were supposed to sell today." He took a small step back, though it was painful for him to do so. The scent of her blood was divine, and he still had the urge to tear her skin open.

@gracehustle

She nodded, "That's me, but you're not bringing me back." She took another small step back and shook her head, "They said I was turning, what does that mean? What's happening to me?" Her voice was strong but shakey at the same time, showing her confusion.

@SaltyLasagna

He took a shaky breath, running a hand through his wavy hair. Keep it together. "I-I'm not here to take you back, but…" he paused to look at her, brow furrowed with concern and confusion. "You really don't know what's happening to you? They didn't tell you?"

@gracehustle

"All they said was that the next year was going to be painful." She shook her head and lowered her arms when she saw he didn't seem to be trying to take her back, "I really don't know what's happening to me.." She looked at the ground and sighed, "The only other think they bothered to tell me was that my family and friends were dead."

@SaltyLasagna

"Oh, you poor thing," Abaddon said, sighing. She must be so confused. And terrified. "You… you might want to come with me. If the Council won't explain it to you, somebody has to."

@gracehustle

Immediately she looked up, unsure of him, "Are you trying to trick me right now?" She asked, "Because if you are.." She sighed again and shrugged, "You know what, I have no one else to go to, I'll go with you, the worst you could do is not help me at all."'

@SaltyLasagna

"No tricks. I promise," he said offering a small, sad smile. "Anyway, follow me. I'll take you somewhere safe for now, and tell you what's going on. My car is just around the corner."

@gracehustle

She took a cautious step forward and watched him, nodding slightly to tell him she was following him. Her mind was fuzzy and she didn't think about the fact that she was going to get into a strangers car and let him take her somewhere else. A faint growl came from her stomach and she glanced down at it, crossing her arms over her stomach and continuing to walk forward.

@SaltyLasagna

He led her to his car, which was sleek, spotless, and black, with slightly tinted windows. It looked brand new. He crossed over to the passenger's side and opened the door for her, feeling nauseous as he tried to figure out what exactly he was supposed to tell her. This wasn't exactly going to be easy for her to hear.

@gracehustle

Alexandria gratefully sat down, leaning her head back on the seat with a small sigh. This whole day had been confusing and stressful and sitting down, even if it was in a strangers car, felt amazing. Her eyes closed lightly and she reached up to her neck, touching the very tender spot. She had no clue how she had gotten it or if it was just a bruise, but it was very sensitive for some reason.

@SaltyLasagna

Abaddon got in the drivers side. He glanced over at the girl, and upon seeing her bite, he felt a bit guilty. This isn't your fault, he told himself, gripping the wheel tightly as he started the car. You had a job to do. You had no choice. Almost instinctively, he reached up to gently touch the scar on his own neck, where Asura had bitten him years ago. He remembered how terrifying the whole experience was, and how it felt when Asura explained that he was turning into a vampire. Now I've done the same thing to her.
"We're going to go to either a restaurant or a bar, alright? The Council will come looking for you soon enough, and the last place we want to be is my house, or yours. It'll be more difficult for them to find us if we're hidden in plain sight."
