Paisley felt heat rush to her cheeks turning them pink. "Thank youu." She said in almost a whisper. Ahhhhhhhhhh
Paisley felt heat rush to her cheeks turning them pink. "Thank youu." She said in almost a whisper. Ahhhhhhhhhh
Meredith returned the blush. ”I mean it. Me on the other hand… not a lot of guys lining up to date a girl who can beat them in a lot of sports.” she shrugged. Maybe I should start looking somewhere else.
Maybe you should… Paisley looked up at Meredith with light eye contact. Feeling like she held the contact for way too long, she quickly looked down and took a sip of her soda, once again smiling at the taste.
Meredith’s blush darkened slightly, though she raised a brow playfully. Not to seem forward… but that almost sounded like a proposition.
And maybe it was… Paisley's eyes flicked back up to Meredith, a smile mixed with a slight smirk was on her lips. She wasn't quite sure why that came to her mind, but she decided to play it out anyway.
Meredith let out a light breathy laugh. ”I…” I don't have a problem with this… I'm willing to try… Doesn't this seem a little fast though? We just met this morning… ”I’ve never done this before.” she finally admitted, almost whispering.
Paisley quickly looked down at her hands which were now fidgeting, red flooding to her face. Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, Sorry Sorry. That was… uncalled for, sorry…
No, nono. Don’t apologize. You didn't do anything wrong. Honestly before today I was considering staying single for… I don't know how long. I had never thought I'd meet someone… like you. Meredith blushed. ”You’re completely amazing and I feel comfortable around you. I don't know what this is but I would be willing to give us a shot… if you are.”
Paisley's head slowly lifted to look at Meredith, surprised and her face still red. "Thanks… I-I feel the same way and I'm happy to do this, only if you're very sure." She offered Meredith a small smile.
Yes. I am. Meredith’s thoughts echoed confidently despite the shy smile, and her still blushing strongly. She wasn't sure if Paisley could hear these but somewhere in the back of her mind she was thinking about kissing her.
Paisley's small smile grew, some of her redness disappearing some still there. thanks… love She was oblivious to Meredith's thoughts, they must be far back enough, but that wasn't exactly the case for herself. Flashes of moments earlier that day went through her head, but with a little twist. Flashes of things that their relationship could become also went through her mind, slower than the others.
Love, huh? No one’s ever called me that before… I kinda like it. Meredith giggled before raising a brow. Wait, what are you thinking about?
Paisley's eyed quickly widened, snapping back to reality. "Nothing!… love. Nothing at all…" Her eyes were still wide, worried about what exactly Meredith could see.
”Really? Cause I thought I saw…” Meredith started. Never mind. I don't even know if we can share images this way. For all I know that that could have just been me.
”You ladies ready for the check or can I interest you in a dessert today?” the waitress from earlier asked.
Yeah… Paisley knew it was herself but she didn't want to say anything. "Oh I'm good, thank you very much though." She smiled at the waitress.
Ok. … Maybe that's something we can try out sometime. ”I think we’ll just take the check, please.” Meredith said pleasantly. By the way; lunch is on me, babe.
”Alright. Whenever you're ready just take this to the register.” the lady placed a slip of paper on the table. ”Have a great day.”
Awee thank you, love. Paisley smiled at the waitress as she left. "You ready to go?" She asked while finishing off her cream soda and letting out a breath.
”Anytime.” Meredith smiled at her new girlfriend. Honestly, yes and no. I already lost track of time so I have no idea how long we've been here. But I want to spend more time with you.
"We could always just skip class, just for today." Paisley stood up. She did want to leave, but not necessarily leave Meredith. I don't know how long we've been here either…
Meredith gave a broad smile with a mischievous spark in her eyes. Why you little rebel. … Count me in. ”I’m just gonna pay real quick and we can go anywhere. Got any ideas?” she asked making her way to the register. I kinda wanna kiss her right now.
"Nope! Not a single one!" Paisley replied, following Meredith to the register. Once Meredith finished paying, she slipped her hand into the other's, lacing their fingers. A satisfied smile appeared on Paisley's lips. just you wait
Meredith was surprised by the gesture but gently squeezed her hand in response. Did you say something, cutie? ”Well, there's always the movies… Or actually, I think there's a fair festival in town for the week.” she suggested with smile.
ooooooohhhh!! Nope. "Ooo! That sounds like fun! I haven't been to that one before so that sounds pretty cool!" Paisley was definitely a fan of fair festivals, her hometown had a small one, but it was probably nothing compared to the one there.
“Alright then. The fair it is.” Meredith said, leading Paisley to the car. They are. There's rides, games and a bunch of unhealthy food vendors. Sometimes there’s even a concert.
Paisley let go of Meredith's hand to get in the car, buckling herself in. She was very excited to go to the fair. She watched as Meredith got in the car and start it with a smile. I hope there's a concert! Those are always fun!
