(this one is ordinaree's Lavender Chiffon Dress)
Honey felt a pang of anxiety. On the one hand, Ari was probably just being sweet. He seemed like a very genuine, nice guy, and he'd respected the blond's wishes earlier. Plus, he'd said himself numerous times that he wouldn't want anything too physical until they knew each other better. They'd only been on one date. Surely that wasn't enough. But on the other hand, maybe it was enough. Maybe he'd seen all that he needed to see and was ready for the next stage. That didn't feel right, but Honey had trusted his feelings and been burned before.
"If you wanted to see me strip, stranger, you could've just asked," he said in his most casual drawl, eyes sweeping over Ari's face. He needed to catch his expression.
Arquis smiled at his partner, watching them spin with clear fondness. "Oh, yes, that one is quite nice. And the color is fetching on you as well. Then again, I suppose there are not many colors that you wear poorly, hm? My gorgeous dear.”
He picked up a dull gray gown that he immediately put away, then—still admiring his lover—held up a long, lavender dress. After a brief pause, he changed out of his floral number and into the new one. It made him feel elegant and light as air.
"I rather enjoy this one," he said, flushing a pretty pink. His only issue was that it made him look, well, thin. It didn't exactly fit right. Even though it was meant to be a small, it kind of hung off of him. The loose sleeves made his arms seem small. "What do you think?"
