Yeah I think both still works! Especially if like. His family was more minor nobility than Marian's, and so he's trying to gain renown and stuff by doing that, and Marian is like "that's my lover you're trying to kill, wtf"

Probably varying based on location and situation. Nobles would probably scorn you, law enforcement would take it as a chance to be little shits, but the general population either doesn’t notice or doesn’t care tbh, only really sniffy individuals would give a crap.

That's kinda what I figured. It doesn't really affect Marian as much because she's cis, but it would matter quite a lot for Will

Probably not? I’m pretty white, it’s something I’m not well equipped to write. Also, I’m just going with there’s a big melting pot of cultures in the area and people wouldn’t really have a reason to hate on race, just maybe on region. Like how Midwesterners are all deathly afraid of anyone from Ohio or Texas.

Probably some. Varies on region, possibly some areas are even fairly matriarchal. Probably not that bad, since I just don’t have the energy to deal with that here tbh.

Dating, practically engaged but could never get it formalized, already know each other fairly well, and probably they meet up after Marian goes out to find him or something, I wouldn’t know.

Lmao alright! I'm thinking that maybe Will was on the run after murdering their father, and then they ran into Robin and Robin took them into the Merry Men. And maybe Robin doesn't know exactly who Will is or what they've done, but knows that Will did something not great? If that works for you
