“I agree.” Lori nodded, starting to stand but holding Ellie close. “Think you can grab our drinks?”
“I agree.” Lori nodded, starting to stand but holding Ellie close. “Think you can grab our drinks?”
"Mhmm," Ellie hummed, reluctantly lifting her face to spot their drinks and reach for them. Once they were secure in her grip, she grinned at Lorelei. "Ready."
“Alright.” Lori smiled, pressing a quick kiss to Ellie’s cheek before carrying her bride to their cabin.
Ellie giggled and nuzzled into Lori's neck again while still holding the bottles in a firm grip.
Lori smiled and kissed Ellie’s cheek as she shut the door behind them. “I love you so much.” she whispered.
Ellie sighed softly at the kiss. "I love you too, my darling wife," she whispered back.
Lori shuddered at the soft words. “I am going to love hearing you call me that.” she sighed, holding Ellie close to her. “And I am going to love getting to call you mine.”
"Then I will never stop," Ellie murmured, gently lifting her head to kiss Lori's cheek. "And I will cherish every time you call me yours."
Lori hummed softly and turned to capture Ellie’s lips against hers. “My love,” she whispered. “My treasured wife.” she giggled, debating on whether or not to put Ellie down.
Ellie sighed softly into her wife's mouth. She was so happy that, finally, they had been able to be wed and were a married couple. Nothing else in the world could have brought her such joy as she felt now.
Lori smiled and carried her wife over to the bed before setting her down gently. She then took the bottles out of Ellie’s hands and set them on the nightstand.
Ellie grinned as she reclined against the mattress and watched Lori put their drinks on the nightstand. Her cheeks were slightly flushed with joy and exertion. "I love you," she whispered, gazing at her wife with a revering shine in her bluebell eyes.
“I love you too, my dear Ellie.” Lori whispered back, meeting her wife's eyes. Her emerald eyes sparkling as she laid on the bed beside her and wrapped an arm across her midsection to pull her closer before she started slowly pressing kisses against her face.
Ellie closed her eyes and hummed with each kiss Lori placed on her skin. She arched her body so that she was pressing into Lori as much as possible. She never wanted to be parted from her love again, even if it was only inches where they weren't touching.
Lori smiled and pulled her even closer. She was willing to go as far as her wife wanted her to and she let Ellie know as she finally captured her lips in a passionate, loving kiss.
Ellie easily moved her lips against Lori's to return her wife's passion. Her eyes fluttered closed, but she drew back slightly. "Lori?" she asked, breathless. An embarrassed flush painted her cheeks.
“Yes, my love?” Lori whispered, as they pulled away slightly.
"I have to tell you…" Ellie began, slowly opening her eyes. "I feel it is only fair if I tell you… the encounters I had with my suitors. But you must promise not to get mad. I'm sorry to ruin a happy moment, but since we're married now, I feel it is only right if you know. I want no secrets between us."
Lori sighed, a little surprised by Ellie's sudden compulsion but she nodded. “Alright. If you really want to… But I can't promise that I won't get mad if you tell me they hurt you.” she admitted, meeting her wife's eyes lovingly with an undercurrent of sadness.
Ellie suddenly looked away and wouldn't meet Lori's eyes. "Perhaps it's best if I don't tell you, then," she whispered, wincing at the words. She shook her head. "No, I'm sorry. I'm making it sound worse than it was."
“Ellie,” she said gently as she softly placed her hand against her wife's cheek and turned her head back to look at her. “Whatever happened was not your fault. I would never be angry at you.” she assured. “And we are in the middle of the ocean right now. I can't do anything to them even if they deserve it.”
Ellie's eyes glistened with held-back tears. "What did I do to deserve you, Lori?" she whispered, clinging tightly to her wife and burying her face in Lori's dark hair. "I'm a bitch for ruining our wedding day with horrendous talk. I could've waited, oh, why couldn't I just wait?"
Lori chuckled softly at the first question and returned the embrace comfortingly, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “No, my sweet love. You're not a bitch and nothing’s been ruined.” she said sincerely. “And I'm the one who doesn't deserve you. I’m a criminal.”
"I love you," Ellie whispered, closing her eyes as she felt Lori's lips touch her forehead. The kiss immediately soothed her. She smiled shyly at her wife's next words. "You certainly are. You've stolen my heart."
“I love you too.” she smiled, but she couldn't help laughing at Ellie’s quip. “You stole mine as well, my princess.” she teased, kissing her face again.
