"Hey there, Cadette… looks like I'm in a pickle, huh? Nah, I'm as tough as nails." Leena smiled as she scratched the top of the dog's head.
(Can I ask what breed? I'm trying to picture it in my head, and I'm coming up with a husky…)

(yeah, she's a husky.)
Cadette barked in response before nudging her head into Aileen's hand. Caspien shut all the curtains except for those leading the balcony and sat on his bed, running a nervous hand through his thing hair.
Leena chuckled dryly, sitting down on the floor to hug the medium-sized dog.
"Are you okay?" Aileen asked Cassien, her chin propped up on Cadette's back.
He glanced up at her and nodded slightly, reaching over to pet Cadette's head "are you? Did they hurt you when they brought you in?"
(I'm going to be taking a break for a while, if that's alright. I don't mean I don't like this rp-I do, but I just need some time off.)
(Yeah of course! go ahead! don't worry about this, hope to see you back soon)
(I'm back! Maybe not feeling amazing, but I'm alive!)
Aileen's eyes went cold for a brief second before she shook her head. "I'm fine, just sore. You don't need to worry about me, and you shouldn't have helped me out in the first place. Your father probably doesn't feel happy about that."
(glad you're back! Hope you're feeling better)
"I'll deal with him later…" He muttered, standing and heading to the door when he heard light footsteps. He peeked outside before letting his mother in. "Mom, this is Leena, she's a friend."
(Just ignore the fact that I haven't been able to respond in over a week due to Thanksgiving plans and being admitted to the hospital for 2 days…)
Leena stood behind Cassien, waving a shy hand at the queen, alongside a nervous smile. "Hi. I'm…the dangerous one they're talking about… Nice to meet you."
(Youre good! Don't worry! I hope your thanksgiving was good! Hope you're okay!!!)
The queen smiled softly and bowed slightly "you don't seem dangerous. Though that's the secret, isn't it? Seeming something yoe're not." She winked and patter Cadette on the head. She hugged her son "you're father won't like this." She said. "What's the plan?"
"I…don't know. Run away? I know how to, and I'm used to-" I'm used to running. Why do I not want to now? It'll only be a year or so until I'll be in the clear, granted that I lie low. "Nevermind. I'm just…not used to help. I don't know if I should be depending on you and Cas."
She sat down on Caspien's bed and rested her hands in her lap. "You don't have to dear, but we’re here if you need us, it’s your choice.” She said, watching Leena calmly. “If you so plan to run, i doubt you’ll get far. Guards are posted around the surrounding forests and every exit of the kingdom. It won’t be easy.”
(Sorry I've been gone-something medical came up and I was unable to respond… I should respond later today)
(is's totally fine! I hope whatever came up isn't anything bad or anything like that. Take your time!)
"I don't want to stay here any longer than I need to as long as I'm unwanted by the king and his associate." Leena concluded, looking at the queen with curious eyes. "But why would you agree to help me? You're the king's wife."
She shrugged "my husband fears those with magical abilities so he chose to segregate them instead of help and work with them. I love h very much but I don't agree with what he's doing to magical folk."
Caspien smiled proudly at his queenly mother and gently took her hand in his. "We'll make him see." He reasured
tis ded?
(Oof, no… I might have looked at your response and didn't know what to type, I forgot to mark it as unread T-T)
(It’s oki!)
Leena looked skeptical. "You say things, yet they are only words. I know I can trust you, Cassien, but why your mother?"
(Ach! Sorry for the short response! [I'm beating myself up already xD])
(No no no!! It’s okay! Don’t worry about it!)
The queen drew her gaze over towards Leena. “Because right now, I’m the only willing to help you.” She said, tilting her head slightly towards her son “and because of him.”
"As much as I would appreciate your help, your Majesty," Leena nodded to her, "would it be best for that to happen, considering that there is the chance that we do fail."
She shook her head "we have to make sure that doesn't happen." she said softly, standing and peeking out Caspian's door. "If you'd rather do this on your own, i won't get involved." she offered, casting a glance to her son and then to Leena
