He looked at her with a teasing glance. He shoved his hands in his pockets and flicked his hair from his brow "Do you want me to leave?" he asked
"I mean, you don't have to…but I assume you'd have things to do, people to see. I'm not the most interesting thing to see around these parts. I'm-I'm normal…" Leena's voice fell, letting the 'normal' all but a lie.
"Anyways, I doubt I'll be doing much here. Thanks for the hospitality…"
"At this time? no, not really at least no one of importance to me." He started walking around the clearing, glancing behind his shoulder with a grin "You normal? never." he winked and crouched down next to Cadette
"I-what? No. No, I'm just…me. Besides, you probably live a better life than me," You being able to show your face to people without them wanting to tell the Royal Guards, maybe even the King… Aileen shrugs as she shifts so that she sits in the back of the cave, her posture only dimly lit, her back to the rocks.
He shrugged "there's something special about all of us. And my life isn't as great as you think. Why do you think I'm here instead of back in there?" He jerked his thumb behind him. He glanced at her for a bit "you're safe here, I won't tell anyone I saw you." His blue eyes searching hers
"Okay." She trusted him…why? "I believe you. But I-" Leena felt a frog in her throat. "I don't think it'd be wise for you to know about me. But with that being said, my name's not May. It's Aileen. Leena-if you'd like to call me that-is the name friends call me."
He looked away with a smile, fiddling with the hem.of his sleeve, his dark hair falling into his eyes. "Thank you, for trusting me with that. He bowed to her in respect "I guess I'll go and leave you to sleep for now. He turned to go but looked behind him at the last second, "I'm not known for being that wise. But I'm not stupid. I don't care what or who you are. I promise to keep you safe for as long as you decide to stay."
Chills were sent down Leena's spine as she nodded. She needed sleep, yes, but Caspian reminded her of someone familiar, someone she lost due to herself. She decided to trust him, least for now.
Laying down with her back to the wall, Leena brushed the hair that was draped in front if her face.
"Thanks. You don't-" she yawned, "-have to do this, you know." But her voice was trailing off as she was already half asleep, Leena curling up on her side and using her arm for a makeshift pillow.
"Thank you. 'M gonna stay here a bit." Her eyes flutter shut as her breathing slowed, and for the first time in a while, her mouth rested in a soft smile.
Cadette licked caspien's hand before trotting over to Leena and settling herself beside her. Caspien smiled at the two "you're welcome, goodnight ladies." He whispered, turning around and heading back to the castle
Hey, could I join?
(Not this specific thread, no, but I could make a new thread for us. However, I will not be able to RP over the weekend, @UwUpower )
Ok! Thanks @Momentia
I'm gonna fill out the template
(Could you maybe send me PMs from now on? Sorry if that was rude.)
Leena, for the first time in a while, dreamed. She was in a field of flowers, lying on her back, and she was experiencing something…safety. She felt safe. She was warm as she felt her wings extend, feeling weightless as she flew.
(You can describe how life is like in the castle, or we can time skip to when Cas returns or if/when something happens to Leena. Ultimately, your choice.)
(uhm I'll describe a bit and then we can skip?)
Caspien made it home unnoticed. He quickly changed in his private bathroom to much more comfortable clothing. "You seem to get around a lot." His mother called from her seat across the room. Caspien jumped, his hand immediately going to his sword. "Mother, don't do that!" He released a strained breath and sat beside her "I was outside with Cadette, I needed some air."
"ah, still strung up on your corrination?" She said
He nodded
"And finging a bride?"
He blushed and nodded again.
Leena woke up to her face buried in fur. She jumped, realized that it was Cadette in the morning light, and let out a low chuckle-she had no need to be terribly afraid. She was used to jumping at anything that wasn't her norm.
"How're you today, Cadette?" Aileen sighs, scratching her back. "You stayed here all night?"
Cadette rolled onto her stomack, her toungue lolling out as she enjoyed the extra attention. She barked a small response.
Caspien had slept peoacfully after his queenly mother had laft, waking up to a mess of brown hair in his face and morning sun filtering through the curtains that led to the balcony. He sighed softly and got up to meet his parents for dinner.
"Looks like you slpet well," his father commented with a small smile "Where's cadette?" he asked, glancing around for the dog
Caspien froze, having forgot he had left her with leena "Uhm, I'm not sure, probaby went out on a morning hunt." he grabbed an apple, bacon strips and a few pastries before passing his parents, giving them each a hug and heading to the door. "You're not eating with us today?" his m other asked.
He shook his head "gotta go explore, and exploration does not wait for breakfast!"
"Gotta go explore, and exploration does not wait for breakfast!"
(That's amazing xD)
Stretching her limbs (wings included,) Leena yawned.
"I'd better be leaving soon. Right, Cadette? Wouldn't want Camargo to get the upper hand." Aileen was smiling, giving Cadette more affection before almost forgetting to hide her wings, which were a pale grey in color.
(lol XDXD)
Caspien made his way through the forest, munching on the apple as he made his way to the clearing. "I bring food!" he announced, walking to the cave and glancing up. "ah there you are," he sat next to cadette and passed Leena the food "sorry i couldn't grab more, mother and father would be suspicious."
"Oh. You didn't…have to…do that. I'm fine! You and Cadette can have it, really!" Leena nervously smiled, her hand on the back of her neck. Unfortunately, her stomach betrayed her words and growled, to which she slumped her shoulders.
This is what I get for trying…
Caspien laughed softly "You're stomach says other wise. you need to eat. Plus it'd be a waste to bring this all the way out here only to bring it back." he smiled softly and passed her the pastry. "Whatever you do don't let Cadette have any, it has chocolate and she adores the stuff." he booped cadettes nose before passing her the bacon strips
Leena frowned at the pastry. She was sure she would like it, but she thought that Cassian was being too nice.
"You're sure?" Aileena was hesitant.
Caspien nodded "go ahead." He passed her the pastry and finished off the apple. He started playing a little game with cadette, flicking his hand to and from as she tried to catch it with her paws. "Sleep well I hope?" He asked, glancing over at leena
"Um, yeah. Yeah, I slept well, I guess." Leena took a bite out of the pastry, and almost immediately devoured it. "Iff is gooph!" Aileen said, saying 'This is good!' with her mouth stuffed. She swallowed and laughed at herself.
