Caspien laughed in amusment "I'll see when I can get more later." Cadette barked in triumph as she caught caspien's hand. He ruffled her fur with his free hand and kissed her snout

Leena jumped on the defense. "No! I mean, you don't have to. You didn't have to do anything. Besides, I should get going soon anyhow…"
(Aileen is probably gonna have a run-in with the bad guy just as or soon after she leaves…just FYI)
(Oki,)
Caspien glanced up, slight hurt and disappointed crossing his features but was soon whiped away by an understanding nod "oh…of course. You probably let have somewhere to be. I shouldn't keep you here if you don't want to stay." He stood and whiped dirt from his pants "you're asways welcome back. If you need me, seek out cadette and she'll get a message to me."
"Of course." Aileen said, though she knew she wouldn't. She had to leave before she was caught.
"It was nice to meet you, Caspien." Leena smiled, petting Cadette before she walked out of the cave, a pep in her step as she greeted the sunlight with joy.
He nodded and watched her go. Once she was out of sight, he headed back to the castle with cadette, flopping onto his bed with a sigh. His mother entered his room "still having trouble deciding?" she asked, assuming his down mood was from his betrothal choices
He nodded, it as partly truth "yes, they're all lovely girls but not what I'm looking for in a queen."
She let out a woop and ran, liking the way her muscles made her arms and legs churn.
When she was out of sight, she extended her wings and flew up into the air, above the canopy of trees. About ten minutes had passed since she had said good-bye. She was so attentive to the rush of adrenaline that she didn't notice the larger clearing that had people obviously there.
Wham! Something pierced Leena's wing as she shrieked out in pain. She dropped like lead, curling herself up to try to lessen the pain.
Her body hit the ground, and she was barely conscious. Pain emanated throughout her body as the bag went over her head.
(Sorry I didn't respond sooner! I was in bed sick for the past few days…)
(Anyways, I'm imagining a commotion happens and guards take Leena to the dungeons..?)
(It's okay! and yeah that sounds great!)
"All of them are perfect to be queen," His mother defended
"And thats the problem! I don't want 'perfect queen' stereotypes. I want someone who breaks the rules, someone whos not afraid to speak their mind. Not that you don't but I want an equal. not a queen, not a wife. I want a partner." he sighed and flopped back onto his bed, Cadette jumping up next to him. His mother sighed and patted his hand "you'll find her soon enough." they both glanced up as bells rang, signaling a potential danger had entered the castle grounds. Caspian grabbed two swords, passing one to his mother and then heading down the halls to meet his father and the intruder.
The guards force Aileen down to her knees, her wings forcefully strapped to her back. Now conscious, Leena felt the bag being taken off as she was presented to the king, her face contorted to a snarl. She saw Mr. Cam-and Aileen's eyes widened in fear. The chains that held her glowed as fiercely as her eyes, but she couldn't use her magic to escape.
"You're not running away this time," a guard kicks her to the side, leaving Leena to cry out.
Caspien finally made it to the throne room along side his mother. Upon seeing the girl in chains he raised his sword in defense and stormed over to him "step away from her," he growled lowly at guard. "If I find out you hurt her I'll skin you alive." He grabbed the keys from the other guard and unshackled Leena.
"Caspien what is the geaning of this?" His father demanded from his spot on the dias."
Caspien didn't answer, instead he silently escorted Leena and himself from the room.
"You-you're the prince? I knew it. You were too good to be true!" Leena's normally soft and quiet voice was now a yell of anger. "You did this, didn't you? Well, are you scared?" Aileen's eyes shined a glistening silver as she extended her wings to full length.
Caspian clasped his hand over her mouth and brought his lips close to her ear. "Yes, you're right, I am the prince. But I didn't do any of this. Guards are always on random patrol, I had no idea they were patrolling this morning, otherwise, I wouldn't have let you go. And of course I'm scared, I'm scared that my father will hurt you or worse torture and kill you. Hence why I'm getting out of here. Now are you going to let me help or are you going to try to leave and get yourself caught again?" he asked, flicking his gaze to hers
Aileen used her hand to delicately move his from her mouth. Her eyes returning to normal and her stance looking defeated, she sighed. "You have three days to prove to me that you didn't plan this, though I doubt that'd be hard. When are we leaving?" Leena's eyes were downcast as she fidgeted with her fingers.
"That's enough time to get you out of here." He nodded and glanced around in the halls for any soldiers that might have followed. "Come, I know a passageway through the servants quarter to my room where you can stay while I see if my mother will help us." He took her hand in his and pulled her into the hallway, now empty from the maides.
Aileen flinched, but continued to follow Cas. She failed to try not to look astonished at the scenery, her eyes even widening at the art. She wished her life were as simple as Cassien's.
"Why are you trying to help me?" Aileen wondered aloud.
"Because what has been done to magic folk is wrong and needs to end. If my father won't end it, then I will." he said over his shoulder, dropping her hand at seeing how uncomfortable she was. "Mother has been trying show him what's right but he doesn't listen." He strode down another hall until he reached a staircase landing
"Someone here…your father wants to imprison me, but he wants to use me. Your father's associate and I…have a history." Leena gently rested her hand on the banister, following Caspien closely, flinching when she received looks from guards.
"what kind of history," he asked, only thinking the worst. He'd tear anyone apart if he ever found out anything happened to Leena or any other Magic folk. He glared daggers at the guards, daring them to make a move to his friend
"Just…history." Leena looked down, her timidness showing.
Once they got to the top of the stairs he turned to her, "Leena, what history? I dot't need details but if something happened to you, I want to know who was responsible."
"It's nothing, okay! We just know each other! We don't see eye-to-eye, alright?" At the raise in her voice, nearby soldiers (about 3-4) raised their weapons, and Aileen immediately shied away.
"S-sorry." Her voice was small now, and she looked down timidly.
He glanced at Leena in surprise, having never had someone raise their voice at them unless it was his father. He then looked over at the guards "Lower your weapons." he growled, heading off down the halls towards his room
Leena kept close, not bothering to say anything as they went past people-some servants, who reacted in shock-and others guards, who went frigid. It was obvious that Aileen was not easily welcomed there.
"Is your mother…is she nice?" Leena asked, still not even glancing up, only using Caspien's feet as a guide.
"She is," he said, glancing over his shoulder, surprised that she was even talking to him after her outburst on the staircase. "She's more understanding than my father. I'm hoping she'll help us get you out of here before anyone else knows of your presence and comes looking for you."
"Do you mind…introducing me to her? I'm not good about those kinds of things." Aileen looked up briefly to Casien, her shoulders slumped down, her trying not to freak out from the foreign place. Then again, she was here before. It was a long time ago, but she was.
He nodded "of course," he said, pushing open the door and leading her through the door. "No one, unless it's my mother, is allowed in this room." He said to the guards outside. He shut the door and was immediately bombarded by Cadette. "Hi pretty one. I brought you a friend." Cadette trotted over to Aileen, licking her hand and pressing close
