(Is it the pacing? The fact that this got way out of hand really fucking quickly, lol? Both?)
(Is it the pacing? The fact that this got way out of hand really fucking quickly, lol? Both?)
(a little of both, but I haven't fully decided, its other things as well too, pertaining the outside world out of this roleplay—)
(Ah, okay. Well, just let me know when you decide and we’ll go from there)
(sorry im going to have to drop out of this.)
(sorry guys)
(Okay, that's fine! Do you want anyone to take over your character?)
(no one specifically honestly, just like whoever wants her and what not)
(Alright. Any volunteers?)
(Sooo… ummmm… I'm here for Ashene, Jaiden (@/thetrue1), Persona and Balance? They all asked me to do something crazy so here I am-)
(This is true, @Serpentess! They are going to take over… let's see… 5 characters? Idk. But it's a lot. They can handle this better than me or anyone else can though, so… yeah…)
(I see. It’ll be a bit tricky for my brain to wrap around, but I’m open to see how this works out)
(And I suppose I can take over Geneviara)
(Yeah… let's go and get the insanity started, shall we? Also. Those 4 chose me not only because I can handle this shit, but also because my writing style is similar to theirs. If I have the correct information, which I think I do, you, Balance and Persona had started a pm about your three whores? Would you mind getting me the shit that's been put there so far? In pms, of course.)
(Lol, alright. Let the insanity resume. And it was me, Persona, and Ashene)
(Ah… my memory gets fucked sometimes. Sorry.)
Radiant looks steadily back at Lucitius, watching him.
"I just… needed someone to talk to, that would understand mine predicament." she sighs, sitting down and wrapping her wings around herself.
"First, I want to know what's happened to you so far." she says, ruffling her wings a bit to cool herself off.
This armor is hot… she thinks, still paying close attention to the wavering form of Lucitius.
Ëvêāhn looked around in confusion, watching Radiant fly away.
She's always somewhere, plotting another war or something… he thinks, looking around then sighing.
"Well, Boromaxus. I see you've finally decided to stop burning mine forests, have you?" he asks, walking right up to Boromaxus without any sense of fear.
He watches the ancient red closely, smirking in case the dragon decided it was worth his time to look at him.
(You’re good. It happens to all of us)
When Radiant sat down, Lucitius’ form solidified, now standing fully there. His eyes lit with concern and he leaned against the wall opposite her.
“Nothing drastic. Though, mine dear Synthia was surprised to learn of my new status,”Lucitius explained.
He noted how Radiant cooled herself off and pondered why.
“What troubles you, Archangel?”he asked gently.
Boromaxus huffed and glared at Ëvêāhn. He lifted his head, the smoke from his nostrils breifly becoming thicker.
“I am here at the request of On’nyosh. Otherwise, I would be enjoying a glorious nap on your precious burned trees,”he growled.
He turned away, then glanced up at the clouds.
“I do not like this storm,”he stated.
"I imagine she was…" radiant murmurs, her form flickering to the elven Asuka sitting in the exact same postion, then going back to normal.
"All of this. The storm. Tiamat. On'nyosh. Vē'Êtherñøth. Ëvêāhn. Mostly the jester. I'm just…" she sighs. "I'm just concerned that I can't help this world. Mine powers don't even affect this foul presence…"
She looks up at Lucitius.
"This is the first time I've dealt with this, and I know nothing of what I need to do…" she murmurs, looking down again.
"Of course you are…" Ëvêāhn sighs, sitting down next to the dragon.
"I don't either…" he says. H
is form seems to flicker, concerning him, but it soon returns to normal. He watches Boromaxus' form flicker as well.
"What the…" he murmurs, getting up again, looking up at the storm. He senses no bursts of magic from it, so it couldn't be Tiamat.
"Do you sense anything, Boromaxus? I cannot find anything myself…" he says, walking up in front of the dragon.
Lucitius rolled his eyes when Radiant mentioned On’nyosh, but he didn’t pursue that subject.
“There is always first times, and always challenges that one cannot beat. Yet, with time, solutions will reveal themselves. One must simply be patient and vigilant,”Lucitius cooed.
His mind drifted back to On’nyosh, and the sense of power that radiated from him. He hoped the jester wasn’t a god, but he knew his hopes were pointless. But, would he stay a god? Would the gods of this world allow it?
Lucitius considered one of the deities of this world, and wondered what he would say about On’nyosh’s rise.
Boromaxus paused, noticing the flicker on his feet. He inhaled deeply, and searched for the source, but couldn’t sense anything.
“No. I cannot find it,”Boromaxus said, still looking around.
Tiamat sensed the flicker. It wasn’t sure what had caused it. Tiamat had sensed the entrance of a new creature, a powerful entity from another world, but wasn’t sure if he had caused the flicker.
Do you sense the source of this pulse of magic?, Tiamat telepathically asked his second-in-command.
Geneviera looked around, but was just as uncertain as Tiamat. No. I don’t know what it is.
Radiant watched as Lucitius's form flickered as well, a very delayed flicker. She senses something entering, but she doesn't recognize it.
"Lucitius…" she says, getting up, alert. The presence suddenly turned into an ice cold dagger of pain, a searing cold like fire.
"Help…" she whispers, collapsing.
Ëvêāh looks concerned, then feels the same pain as Radiant lancig through him, except worse, being finely attuned to magic as he is.
"FUCK!" he screams, writhing on the ground, holding his head; his form is shuddering like a doorstop, splitting not just into two different coils, but dozens upon dozens of then, each of them different.
Shade grins, laughing as the fabric of reality tears as he enters the realm, enjoying the pain of those who are near. And those who are not.
"Ah, it's been too long since I've been here! I wonder how much Tiamat has accomplished…" he says, turning into a foul smoke and zipping away to where he senses Tiamat to be.
Oh, Tiamat! he calls out, giggling insanely. I'm back!
Along the way, he senses some particular people that are affected stronger than most by his magic.
OOH! Let's go see what reactions of pain they're having! he thinks, giggling as well as smoke could.
He spotted one particular being, and the sight of him sent Shade into a spiral of annoyance.
Well… I did not want to see him again… he says, dropping out of the sky in his void form.
Cass was in the middle of having her own fun with On'nyosh and Vē'Êtherñøth when the pain lanced through her, stopping her and causing her to tumble off of the bed, whimpering quietly and covering her head.
"Oh god, make it stop…" she whispers, shaking.
Vē'Êtherñøth watches this, then a split second later she gets a migraine.
"Something is trying to use magic on us to incapacitate us…" she mutters, getting up. She casts a mind ward on On'nyosh and Cass.
"Sorry, love…" she says, grabbing her split form and merging with it again.
"Get up, On'nyosh. Fun time's over. We've got to go save the world now, apparently… although, I'll make sure that if we make it through this and win, the three of us will have our uninterrupted sexy time!" she grins, laughing and summoning up some clothes for herself.
Pain flashed through Lucitius’ mind and he winced, a slight purring moan echoing from him. He leaned back, fighting against the pain and pondering his reaction. He then cast a mind ward on both himself and Radiant, having noticed her collapse.
He breathed deeply a moment and sighed, shaking his head. His mind, though technically sane, confused him sometimes.
“There is a newcomer here. His entrance caused the wave of magic and pain,”Lucitius explained, not moving from his spot.
Boromaxus noticed Ëvêāhn collapse and snorted, chuckling. However, his laughter quickly came to an end as terrible pain burst into his head.
He shrieked, sending forth a gout of fire in pure rage at the pain. He then groaned, curling up and clawing at his head, a strange whimper escaping him.
Tiamat fluttered a moment, the wave of agony reaching it. However, they quickly shut down the pain before it disoriented them too much. It also quickly cast a mind ward on Geneviera, who was steadily plummeting to the ground in agony.
Geneviera caught herself, steadying her flight and quickly returning to the clouds above.
What was that?, Geneviera questioned.
Tiamat sighed. Someone I had thought long gone. They sounded as displeased as they could get.
Searing pain stabbed into On’nyosh’s mind, but it was wiped away moments later when Vē'Êtherñøth cast the mind ward. He breathed deeply, listening to Vē'Êtherñøth and moaning.
“Damn it! I haven’t been fucked in ages! Why? Why must the idiot gods and their stupid fucking minions torture me like this? This isn’t the torture I signed up for!”he cried.
His rant finished, On’nyosh sighed and sprawled on the bed, his bare feet hanging off the bed. He lay there a moment, eyes closed, slowly calming down, his scales going from red back to green.
On’nyosh then sat up and started to braid his hair, taking his time, his eyes deep in thought. He then noticed Cass.
“Are you alright?”
Radiant slowly gets up when Lucitius casts the ward on her.
"Yes, I know…" she says, her voice sounding like her own and Asuka's. Then it returns to normal.
"I remember this particular being. You weren't there for it, but when I first 'met' him, we were in another plane, where Malcolm dropped a reality nuke." she adds, sighing.
Ëvêāhn continues to scream in pain, nobody there to stop his agony.
Eventually he falls unconscious, the pain chasing him in his dreams with razor claws and fire whips.
Shade watches as Ëvêāhn falls unconscious, then grins. He launches back up into the air after leaving a little calling card near Ëvêāhn's prone body.
Eventually, he reaches Tiamat and grabs the entity.
"Well, well, well… it seems like you've gone soft on me!" he giggles, not entirely sane after his encounter with Radiant.
"But, you can still be of use! Come, to the mountains!" he nearly shrieks, taking off.
Cass slowly sits up, her hair a rats nest.
"What the fuck happened?" she whispers, incapable of loud speech.
She looks around, spots her clothes, and gets dressed slowly.
"A new being entered the realm. A very powerful, sick, twisted, cruel being." Vē'Êtherñøth says, simply magicking Cass's and On'nyosh's clothes onto them for the sake of time, then warping the three of them to the throne room.
Lucitius sighed, shaking his head.
“I despise Malcolm more than that fool of a jester,”he grumbled.
He then became lost in thought for a moment before looking at Radiant again.
“Tell about this one.”
Boromaxus doesn’t register the screams next to him or the presence that passes near. He is too lost in the agony to move, but too stubborn to fall unconscious, leaving him in a hellish purgatory of pain.
Tiamat glares at Shade. It didn’t move to follow Shade, refusing to obey the creature.
I obey no one.
Maybe we should. This creature could potentially help us, Geneviera replied.
No. Tiamat’s tone allowed no room for argument.
On’nyosh grunted, falling onto his ass as he realized he was fully clothed and in the throne room. He snorted in amusement, finishing his braid. He didn’t bother to stand up, primarily so he could enjoy a view of the clothed asses of his companions.
“So, a newcomer that I suppose is worse than Nyx then?”On’nyosh asked with a sigh.
"His, or its, name is A Mutable Shadow. They go by Soul Eater, Shade or Shadow. I…" she falters. "I used his energy to manifest myself. This slightly weakened him. But, in the end, Nyx stole the creature's form."
She grimaces.
"And now he's here…" she murmurs, warping herself and Lucitius to the throne room, not expecting anybody else to be there. She jumps a little, ruffles her wing feathers, then walks forward.
The king and queen were both in hiding, and couldn't be affected by the pain that plagued the rest of the realm.
*So… he's back…" they both think, deciding to leave the realm.
Shade pauses, then looks back. He simply grins maniacally at Tiamat then uses the voids to grab and entrap the obstinate being.
"You forget your place, Tiamat…" he says, a dangerous, broken light in his void white eyes.
"Yes, worse than Nyx. Much, much worse than him." Vē'Êtherñøth replies, turning and crouching down next to the jester, ignoring the new scaly blue bastard and Radiant. For now. When she realizes who the scaly blue bastard actually is, she launches into the air, then lands, standing straight up and glaring at Lucitius, her mouth locked in a snarl.
"You…" she says, then slowly backs away, her pupils contracting to vertical slits, her form growing in size, doubling, then tripling. Her wings grow a membrane to allow flight, and her scales harden and grow larger. Her spines get longer and thicker as well, and any traces of hair fade. Her brows become heavier.
By the end of the transformation, there is a dragon in the middle of the throne room.
Cass watches this, looking at Lucitius.
"Who are you?" she asks, annoyed and concerned. Anthing that could make Vē'Êtherñøth behave like this was worth avoiding.
Lucitius sighed, understanding the implications of what this Shade creature could do. He didn’t like Nyx, and damn sure didn’t like a friend of Nyx’s called Goldergon. If this Shade creature was worse, then Lucitius already hated him.
He rose an eyebrow when Radiant transported them to the throne room, then shrugged. However, his eyes immediately locked onto On’nyosh, glaring.
Tiamat chirped, concentrating hard to teleport out of the trap. It then turned an equally dangerous glare on Shade. I obey no one! Least of all you.
The storms flashed with lightning, rain beginning to pour. Rain that numbed the pain caused by Shade’s entrance. Tiamat would deal with the rest later. It then sent a burst of pure anger into Boromaxus, and told the dragon who had caused the pain and where they were.
Geneviera watched above, hidden in the clouds, calculating.
Boromaxus slowly unraveled as the agony ceased. He looked around, until anger, a malevolent cloud of pure rage and hatred, and the knowledge of the one that had attacked him, filled his mind.
Boromaxus leaped into the air, roaring furiously, fire growing in his throat, as his eyes locked on his target. In his anger, he completely ignored any warnings against trying to murder Shade. He would kill the creature, then devour what remained. Nothing would stop him.
On’nyosh listened to Vē'Êtherñøth and sighed.
“Well shit.”
He then saw her leap away and finally noticed who else was in the throne room. He snorted, not surprised.
“So, the Lizard Fuck arrives,”On’nyosh snorted, unfazed by Lucitius’ glare.
He then saw Vē'Êtherñøth change into a dragon and his eyes widened. He looked between her and Lucitius, wondering what he had done to piss her off.
Then he glanced at Cass.
“Meet Lucitius. Supposedly a god of chaos, but in reality, he’s a big fucking asshole that can’t take a joke worth shit. And he hates me because he can’t take a joke worth shit,”On’nyosh explained with a huff.
Lucitius ignored On’nyosh’s comments, watching Vē'Êtherñøth change. He couldn’t directly recall her, but he wasn’t necessarily surprised by her reaction. After all, she reeked of demonkind, and he had killed many demons in his lifetime.
Though, he was a bit fascinated by her shapeshifting abilities, and appreciated her draconic appearance. He rarely ever met a dragon that wasn’t of his own kind.
“Hey, don’t be giving her that look, you fucking roasted chicken! That’s my woman, get your own!”On’nyosh called.
Lucitius looked at him in absolute confusion.
“Fool, I have a wife. You can enjoy this fiend all you desire!”Lucitius hissed.
“She’s not a fiend!”
“She? Well, she is a demon. I had thought you only preferred the living and undead, yet it seems I was wrong,”Lucitius huffed.
“My sexual life is none of your goddamn concern! Now, why in the fucking hell are you here?”On’nyosh snarled.
Just then, Boromaxus’ roar echoed through the castle. Lucitius gazed up at the ceiling thoughtfully, then back down at On’nyosh.
“I came to speak with dear Radiant here. Yet, it seems I shall now be a witness to a battle that shall change the fate of this realm. And that battle is beginning as we speak,”Lucitius said.
“Thank you for so graciously volunteering to help, you fucking jackass,”On’nyosh huffed sarcastically.
Lucitius snorted, not bothering to reply, then teleported to a window so that he could watch the events above.
"I see you don't like our jester." Radiant says dryly, not even bothering to guess at why. She already knew why.
"Just don't worry about him." she sighs, seeing his look.
Shade snorts and simply freezes the dragon, not even bothering to turn and look at it before it starts to fall from the sky.
"Really, Tiamat? You thought that would do something? I should remind you who you are dealing with…" he says, giving the struggling Tiamat a demented smile. Slowly, he reaches across the space and grabs the elder's glowing red core, digging his claws into it mercilessly. Making sure that Tiamat knows just who he's dealing with.
Now… will you listen? he asks.
"I know of him. However, I have not had the displeasure of meeting the Famous Blue Fuckhead." Cass replies, already feeling better.
When Vē'Êtherñøth fully completes her transformation, she simply asks Lucitius "The fuck?"
Vē'Êtherñøth watches the blue deity, whom she has heard many tales of. Mainly of demons far older and powerful than her dying by blue flame and diamond claws.
In a telepathic voice she asks Lucitius What are you here for? Why would Radiant be contacting you?
Shade senses Lucitius's focus and grins.
"WELL! I SEE THEY'VE SENT ME YET ANOTHER DRĀCKONIAN TO CRUSH!" he bellows, knowing that Lucitius can hear him perfectly well.
(So… @/Imreplacing4peopledontmindme! has informed me of your words, @Serpentess. However, I would like to hear it directly from you. May I join your RP on the side of Tiamat?)
(Well shit, @/Imreplacing4peopledontmindme! beat me to the punch, lol! Yes, you may join, just make a character using the template on the first post)
