“Deal,” Hunter repeated, before slowly kissing Milo. Those damn lips were so soft and irresistible, Hunter wanted to kiss Milo forever. If they could just stay there in an infinite time loop, Hunter would be happy.
“Deal,” Hunter repeated, before slowly kissing Milo. Those damn lips were so soft and irresistible, Hunter wanted to kiss Milo forever. If they could just stay there in an infinite time loop, Hunter would be happy.
A smile appeared on Milo's lips as he continued to kiss Hunter. At this point, he had somehow shifted enough to be in Hunter's lap. It was a win-win, both outcomes they would get plenty of kisses.
“Mmmmmm…” Hunter murmured into the kiss, his hands slowly trailing up and down Milo’s back. He liked this. He didn’t remember how he ever lived without it. “You’re mine,” Hunter murmured onto Milo’s sweet, soft lips.
Milo's smile just kept growing, making it slightly difficult to keep kissing Hunter, but he managed. He could stay there forever, no quiz bowl tournament, no dinner with Hunter's family, and no college, just Hunter. How had they even managed without each other, let alone bully and victim?
Hunter made himself pull back after a few moments, the harsh reality of knowing they couldn’t stay like that forever. “You better win that tournament, cause gosh darn I want to kiss you so much more,” Hunter whispered with a smirk.
Milo's mouth lingered open for a few seconds after Hunter pulled away. "Oh don't you worry, you're getting kisses no matter what happens. But I bet we will win." He said with a little smile. He leaned onto Hunter's chest, shifting slightly so he would be more comfortable.
Hunter brought his hand up to play with Milo’s hair. He had a hard time remembering how he hadn’t thought it was cute before they became soulmates. His other arm wrapped around Milo’s lower back to hold him close. “Wow…” He mumbled, looking at Milo.
Milo's arms were already wrapped around Hunter, his head lying on his chest. He loved the feeling of being engulfed in Hunter's arms, he loved the feeling of Hunter's fingers in his hair. He just loved it all. It was quite unbelievable how polar opposite their relationship had been just the week before.
Hunter’s chest glowed brightly. “You’re perfect, you know,” He mumbled with a smile, but his eyes were beginning to droop closed slightly. It wasn’t that Hunter was particularly tired, but he felt safe knowing Milo was safe, and a nap with his love in his arms sounded quite appealing…
Milo smiled into Hunter's bright chest. "Thanks… but how could that possibly be true?" He wasn't a very modest person, he just actually had no idea how someone could think he was perfect. He closed his eyes, taking everything in. He could easily go for another nap, this time in the arms of the love of his life.
“Because you’re the best person I’ve ever met. Because you changed me. Because you’re perfect for me,” Hunter murmured, his hand tangling in Milo’s hair, “I love you Milo. I love you so damn much,” He whispered, closing his eyes with a smile resting on his lips.
"Thank you~" Milo's lips formed a small smile. "I love you…" He was starting to drift into sleep once again. His arms were still around Hunter and he was still in his lap.
Hunter didn’t feel energetic enough to get up and move to his room, consequently he ended up drifting into sleep with Milo in his arms. He was just so happy with his soulmate, to know he was safe and with him…
(Time skip?)
(Yeah)
Quite a while later, Milo stirred awake, instantly smiling as he felt Hunter's arm still around him. He took in a deep breath, taking in Hunter. He slowly opened his eyes, noticing that there was the start of a sunset outside.
Hunter felt Milo wake, and cracked a sleepy eye open. “Mmmm, love…” He murmured with a smile, not realizing the time. Or the fact his mother would probably be home, if not for the fact she had gotten groceries, but Hunter didn’t know that.
"Good morning," Milo said in a whisper with a grin. "Look outside, the sky is pretty." He sat up a little to get a better look of it.
Hunter sat up looking out the window, “Yeah it is…” He agreed with a smile, before reality hit him like a truck, “Oh wait it’s really late. I should get you home.” Hunter frowned, not wanting to leave but knowing that time was finally spent up.
"Yeah…" Milo frowned with Hunter. He gripped into Hunter, of course not wanting to leave. "You wanna take me to the tournament tomorrow?" He asked looking lightly into Hunter's eyes.
“That sounds lovely,” Hunter replied with a smile, before wrapping his arms securely around Milo and completely picking him off the couch and carrying him bridal style. “I’m practicing for tomorrow when I carry out my champion,” Hunter informed with a smirk, planting a kiss on Milo’s cheek.
Milo's frown changed quickly into a smile as he was picked up. "I see. Speaking of champions, when is your next football game? I was never interested in football since everyone's just so… I don't know. But now… maybe I should join marching band so that I'm guaranteed to go." He kinda rambled on a bit more. His arms were still around Hunter.
“I think the next one is the twenty-fourth, so only a couple days,” Hunter shrugged as if it was nothing. But in reality, they were taking on the school’s rivals, so that was one of the bigger games of the year. And since Hunter was the star quarterback, a lot was resting on his shoulders. Despite all that, the only thing Hunter was focused on what was currently in his arms as he went out to his car so he could drive his love home.
"Well, I'll be there then… probably sitting alone, but I can manage." Milo had never understood the hype of football games, to him it was dudes being dudes, people running at each other with the goal of throwing them to the ground. But who knows, maybe he would love it.
(What if it's the Homecoming game? So the Homecoming dance will be soon as well.)
(Ooo yes!!! I love that idea!)
“As soon as the game is over I’ll come find you then,” Hunter told him with a smile as they got into the car and he started driving to Milo’s apartment complex. It would be fun, the have Milo come to his next football game. The Homecoming one no less. Which sparked another thought in his mind… the dance. I absolutely need to ask Milo out to that.
