It wasn't long before they were back at his car and Colton was opening the door for her.

She slipped in gratefully and set her backpack on the floor.
He followed suit, climbing into the drivers seat and buckling in.
Hannah laughed. "OhmiGod…" she sighed in between breaths. "This is too good…"
Paige bent over and opened her backpack. Her jelly bracelets were on top and she blushed furiously, remembering Hannah's reaction to them.
"Do you have everything in there? Or do I need to go beat Hannah up?"
"I don't know…" Paige said slowly. She put her jelly bracelets in her pocket and dug through her things. "My diary is gone… and so is my lips gloss." She wanted to yell, but her voice was weak. If she read it…
"I don't know…" Paige said slowly. She put her jelly bracelets in her pocket and dug through her things. "My diary is gone… and so is my lips gloss." She wanted to yell, but her voice was weak. If she read it…
(Sorry, school's been a nightmare today)
Colton glared at the bag, raging bubbling inside of him, "I'll go find them." He said as calmly as he could.
(You're cool!)
She bit her lip to keep from crying. She read it. She probably read it. And my last present from Jessica…
"Hey, baby, look at me," He said gently, "I'll get it back, I promise." he kissed her cheek gently before he slipped out the car and headed off to find Hannah.
Paige watched him go and tried to regulate her breathing.
It took about five minutes before Colton found who he was looking for and he was fuming. He practically growled at the girls, "Give. it. back." He was a lot bigger then them, stronger and when he was angry… boy were they in trouble.
Hannah paled and stood up. She recovered quickly from the shock. "On a mission?" she asked sweetly, sliding the lip gloss discreetly into her back pocket.
"Give the lip gloss," He said slowly, stalking towards her, "And the diary back. If not that face might have some bruises and trust me, I'm not afraid of the consequences."
Hannah quickly handed over the items. "Hope you enjoy realizing how much your girlfriend is a liar," she snarled, then ran away quickly.
Colton glared and flipped her off before checking he did have the lip gloss and the diary, breathing a sigh of relief when he did. He held them tightly and headed back to Paige.
Hannah glared after him.
"What should we do?" Clearie asked, watching him go.
"Well, we know the truth about her now," Hannah replied with a smirk. "It's time others knew too."
Paige saw Colton coming, holding her things. She got out of the car and ran over to him.
"I'm sorry baby, they read through the diary but I promise you I haven't peaked inside," He said, seriously and somewhat sorrowfully as he handed her the items, "I'm sorry this happened."
She checked the lip gloss. Still unopened – good. His words suddenly registered. Hannah had read her diary. She was going to tell everyone… Her eyes squeezed shut and she hugged the book to her chest.
"Hey," Colton brought Paige in close, wrapping her in a comforting hug, "I don't know what's in there, but whatever Hannah does, I'll stand by you, okay? I love you, and that isn't going to change soon."
Paige leaned against him. He was strong, and she needed him more than anything right now. I was stupid to think Hannah wouldn't read it – who was I kidding?
He ran a hand through her hair, whispering words of comfort and giving her all the support she needed.
(Have you seen the show How I Met Your Mother?)
(No I haven't, why?)
(Cause I'm going to use a character from the show as Paige's past alter-ego.)
Paige sighed. "Hannah's probably going to tell everyone who I really am since she read this, so I guess there's no more hiding it. I want to tell you so you don't have to worry about rumors or anything like that." She took a deep breath. "I moved here at the beginning of the school year this year. Over the summer, I lived in California. For all of my life before that…" She bit her lip. "I lived in Canada, and I was a teen pop star named Robin Sparkles." She braced herself for his response. Laughing and mocking were the most common two, and she didn't expect any more than that.
