"Yes, that would be nice."
"Yes, that would be nice."
“Great, I’ll see you outside the school then.” He pressed a kiss to her cheek before heading into his class.
She smiled widely and headed off to English class.
The be,l rang fir end of class and Colton hurried off to the front of the school. He waited somewhat impatiently for Paige.
She rushed as quickly as she could to meet him. Her backpack was hitched up on her shoulders and she let it drop back to normal as she approached him.
Colton looked over to her and smiled, “Hey there, ready to go?”
"Yup!" she chirped, happy whenever she was around him.
“Come in then.” He chuckled and took her hand.
She quickly entwined their fingers and checked over her shoulder. She didn't want to admit it, but she was checking for Bryson or her mom out of instinct.
Colton gave her hand a small squeeze to reassure her that everything would be fine. After a minute or so walk, they made it to his bike.
"What will Bryson think?" she asked quietly.
“Hey, you’re not going to get hurt. And if you don’t like it and are afraid of what Bryson will think, I’ll bring my car tomorrow, okay?” Colton said gently.
She looked up at him and nodded. "Okay, thank you," she replied. There was a sense of relief about the way that she said it.
“I haven’t driven Baby for ages,” Colton said, climbing in the car, “Probably needs a fresh coat of paint in all honesty.l
"Is that your car's name?" she asked, tucking her hair behind her ear.
“Yup, because she is my baby. My child on other words.” Colton sighed contently.
Paige smiled. "I'd love to see her."
“Well you will tomorrow, now, where’s your house?” He asked, revving the engine.
She gave him her address (because I'm too lazy to think of one) and got on behind him, wrapping her arms around his midsection.
“Right, let’s go then.” He smiled over his shoulder before he took off, but made sure to go just below the sped limit.
She held on tight to him, still getting used to riding on a motorcycle.
Colton slowed down a little when he noticed how tight she was holding on, taking the corners carefully.
"Thank you," she said above the wind. Her grip relaxed slightly.
“Anything for you.” Colton replied, a hint of a blush rising to his cheeks.
She smiled shyly and rested her head on his shoulder.
