Caleb smiled softly. He wanted nothing more than to hold Kyle in his arms for the rest of eternity. But he knew that eventually he’d have to leave. And maybe he’d have to leave for awhile. Days and months where he wouldn’t be able to see Kyle smile, where he wouldn’t be able to wake up at his side and tell him he loved him. He pushed those thoughts away, trying to focus on right now.

He didn't want this moment to end. He wanted it to drag on forever and ever and ever and be content with that. With being held. All of Kyle's worries were washed away whenever Caleb was there. If he was to leave.. Kyle knew he would be a mess, a very big, anxiety-filled, mess.

Kyle shook his head, keeping his stance firm. He wouldn't fall for Caleb's puppy dog eyes this time, "Nope. You have to wait. They're not as good without the icing."

He hummed softly, focused on the bowl beneath his hands. It was nice to just slow down like this, to spend time with Caleb without having to fear anything bad would happen. His thoughts dragged him away and soon enough he was already icing the cakes.

Kyle blushed lightly, leaning back into the others embrace with a soft smile. He finished up on the cakes, looking at them proudly before he picked one up and offered it to Caleb.

Caleb smiled as he took it from him. “They look great, babe.” He said before taking a bite of the one in his hand. “They taste pretty amazing too. Almost as amazing as you do.” He added on teasingly, a wide grin on his face.

Kyle went even more red, if that was possible, and started to wash the bowls in the sink. He hummed softly to himself, trying to ignore the burning in his cheeks.

Soon enough all the plates and bowls were washed and dried and put away neatly. Kyle made sure they were. He knew Caleb would never put them away properly.
