"It can also be a great thing." She roller skated out of the alleyway, and rolled along, hands in her pockets. "Pretty powerful huh?" She scratched her chin. "Ya know. I think we're gonna get along just fine Zee."

Zenith quickly follows, not even giving the thief a second glance. "Zee?" He tilts his head. "I mean, I've been called 'Zig-Zag' and 'Zen' before, so I guess 'Zee' isn't that strange." He muses.

"Zenith is such a long name. A cool one. But a long one. So Zee works." She shrugged as she began to speed up, and zipped down a hill, laughing as people moved aside to let her speed on by. "HAHA SUCKERS oh hey a TREE!" She then crashed into it, and she sat on the ground, laughing. The guitar case, had actually gone back to where she had left her guitar, packed itself up, and now was racing towards Evelyn. She hugged it tightly. "Good case."

Zenith quickly runs after her. "You okay?" He doesn't question the magic items. He knows better by now- he's learned about that kinda thing the hard way.

"Mhm. Oh and this is all done with mechanics." She flipped it over, and tapped the case in a series of beats, and out popped some covers, to show some little levitator thingies underneath. "Has robotic arms. It packs itself, and it's all controlled by my phone, though if the guitar is to far away from the case it'll do it automatically."

Zenith tilts his head. "No magic?" Huh. Well, that's surprising. Zenith frowns for a moment, but quickly brushes it off. "You sure you're okay?"

"Totally fine." She gets up, and shakes herself. "I've done stupider than this and lived to tell the tale. Broken almost every bone in my body. Ah the fun of family." She sighed and grabbed his hand a bit to get stable on her skates, and then rolls off again casually, humming a bit. "Must suck being an only child."

Zenith gives a small laugh, following. "Ah, but I've had worse. Ever had your heart ripped out?" He gives a cheeky smile. And he's not lying. He has a lot to… thank his 'dad' for.

"Ah, this ain't a pain competition,Jade." She kissed his cheek suddenly, and rolled down another small hill, to leave him there embarrassed.

Zenith doesn't even react to the kiss very much. He flinches a little, but that's because he was suddenly touched and he doesn't like to be touched. He quickly follows her. "Jade? I mean, I see 'Zee', but how'd you get 'Jade'?" He quietly wonders why she touched him with her mouth. Hmm… maybe its another one of those social interaction things Crystal was telling him he needed to learn.

"Jade, for your eyes. Deep, and alluring, and they always seem to have a sort of lusty glow to them." She continued to skate, when she got a phone call, while turning into a comic shop. "Hm? Oh hey Crystal. Yeah I know…okay. Yes MOM I'll be home soon. Uhuh. You do realize I live on my own, I can do things witho-ooooh okay. Yeah I'll be there. Mhm. Yup. Love ya too. Buh bye." She hung up. "That was my mom Crystal. Really nice lady."

Zenith stares at her. "Wait a minute, you're mom's name is Crystal?" His eyes go wide. He grabs his own phone and quickly dials a number. "Crystal do you have another child or fifteen you need to tell me about? What do you mean 'no'?"

She laughed, and pulled up a picture of a woman on her phone. She had long red hair, and was short and stocky, with bright green eyes and freckles dotting her nose. A fighting but motherly woman indeed. "That's my mother." (I'm cracking up at this in class, it's beautiful)

Zenith tilts his head. "Never mind." He says into the phone. He quickly hangs up ignoring the "What the hell is going on over there??" From the other end of the phone. The boy gives a sheepish smile. "Uh… whoops? That's going to be fun to explain later."

(Lol Zenith is not smart.)

She laughed and rolled her eyes as she tapped her shoes together, pet one of the two cats chilling in the comic shop, and she walked in. Her shoes turned back into shoes, and she went to go page through some of the graphic novels.

Zenith hesitates for a moment outside the shop, unsure if he's supposed to keep following. After a moment, he follows anyway. He glances at the graphic novels. He knows a little bit about reading and writing- enough to get by in a texting conversation- but maybe books with pictures could help him learn faster. "Uh, sorry I assumed your mom was my mom friend." He's heard John and Katsumi describe Crystal as a 'mom friend' before, and he's pretty sure he's using the term right. Pretty sure.

She laughed. "That sounds wrong. A mom friend is a friend of yours who is more like a motherly figure. Will take care of you sort of, screech at you, and try to protect you. They may be really good at it, or really bad. I am a really BAD mom friend, and yet I have children." She put air quotes around children as she grabbed a few books. "We're gonna get you some books too don't worry, but we'll head to the library for that." She nodded, and paid for the comic books, and booped the cats nose. "Unless you'd like some comic books. I'd read some of the super hero ones to start off with. DC and Marvel are over there." She gestures to the back of the store and began to flirt a little bit with the store clerk, who was 18 and really quite cute in her eyes. The two weren't dating yet so she classified this as okay. She just wanted cheap comics really,maybe his number.
