(Idk. I could, but Dylan’s talking just a bit too much, and I can’t come up with a good answer.

(Hey, sorry, I’ve been avoiding Notebook a bit for the past few days, so I’m not on much. I can reply in a sec.)
"I don't feel them, necessarily I-" but she never finished her sentence, because without so much as a yelp she was jerked under the water.
Avery jumped and stared at the place where Kagi had disappeared under water. Her gaze shot to Dylan, wide-eyed in fear. “What the heck just happened? Where did she go? Why— Who— What just pulled her under???”
“I don’t think it was a who…” he said, backing towards the shore cautiously, “Out of the water, now!”
Just as soon as he said that, he felt something find purchase on his leg, tugging him towards where Kagi had been grabbed. He held onto the rock shore with one hand and kicked out, waving at Avery with his other hand, “Don’t worry about me, go!”
Kagi felt herself being dragged further and further down into the depths. The water felt icy on her skin, and she felt her blood going cold. But as her vision slowly started dimming from lack of oxygen, everything turned bright again. She dropped onto something hard, like a dead fish, laying in a heap. She was no longer surrounded by water and she could breathe, but she also couldn't find the strength to open her eyes.
( Beep? )
(Oh Christ! This is what a new phone does to me….)
Dylan’s hand slipped from the shore, and the whole world became a cold, wet blur. His wounds, which had just calmed to the point that they were tolerable, were rubbed raw once more as he descended with much less than grace.
With one final shove Dylan landed, screaming from the pain. He could barely open his eyes, but he could tell there was light. It wavered and brightened as he thrashed about in agony.
Kagi breathed heavily, feeling as if her lungs had exploded in her throat. Everything ached, and nothing seemed to be working right on her body. But she somehow managed to open her eyes, and if she didn't feel as if she were dying, she would've been in awe.
Green? Plants? There were plants everywhere. And she was laying in the dirt. How was she laying in the dirt? She would've taken more time to analyze what was going on, but suddenly Dylan plopped down next to her like a dead fish, screaming and thrashing.
"Whoa!" she yelled, crawling over to his side and trying to grab his hands. "Dylan calm down!"
“To hell with that!” Dylan yelled, brushing away Kagi’s hands and kneeling, “I am sick tired of this underground death… forest?”
Dylan’s eyes opened to discover what he had landed amongst: dirt, plants, and far off was the sound of nature. All underground.
(Echo)
(Hello?)
"Yeah, a forest." Kagi sighed, sitting back once Dylan stopped his little freakout. The water that she had fallen from poured out from the ceiling creating a waterfall, which explained a little bit of the situation. But she'd been grabbed. What had she been grabbed by?
"Hey," she wondered aloud after a second. "Where's Avery?"
Dylan looked around and cursed, “She’s up top still. At least, probably. I tried to get her away, and if I succeeded, she thinks we’re both dead. But she’s not gonna make it up there…. No food or water.” Dylan deflated, and his hands curled into fists, “I think… I think I may have killed her.”
(Did we lose Autumn?)
(Oh… now I know why…)
(What? Why?)
(I never realized, but she’s a HS grad now.)
(So she’s probably got her hands full now.)
( goodness gracious )
(Sad Shadow is sad now…)
(Hey, sorry, life is sort of a mess right now. I’m kinda limiting role plays because having too many stresses me out… Sorry for not being on.)
(Happy Shadow is happy!)
(I’m just glad you’re sticking around for what you can after graduating. Most don’t. I won’t pressure you anymore, I promise. I just didn’t know until now.)
(No, it’s okay. I’ve been flaky, and I should have said something about it before now. Sorry, guys.)
(there is no problemo)
