“There’s this place a couple blocks down. I’ve never been, but I’ve heard it’s good. It’s called Lemon. Have you ever been?” She asked.
“There’s this place a couple blocks down. I’ve never been, but I’ve heard it’s good. It’s called Lemon. Have you ever been?” She asked.
He shook his head.
“Okay. Do you think we should go now? We may be able to get a place better if we go now.”
'Sure.'
Jack was on the outside now, so she had to wait for him to get out first.
Jack moves still holding her hand tightly.
She scoots out slowly after him until they’re both out. She grabs her empty cup to throw away.
He throws his away and as they got out her stops her. He looked her into the eyes then shook his head.
“What?” Eden asked, a little concerned.
He typed 'Never mind."
(I’m abt to be gone for abt 40-50 minutes but as soon as I get home, i’ll respond just FYI)
(Okay.)
Eden frowned, “Are you sure?” She didn’t want to push so she decided that was the last time she’d question it.
He nods. an thought to himself. you screwed up jack…
“Okay.” She dropped the subject. “Meet you there?” She asked, deep done hoping he’d say that he’d take her. And maybe she could go home with. Not for that. Just for him. She tried not to get her hopes up too much.
(That took longer than I thought, I’m sorry)
(It's ok)
'Or I can take you!'
ohthankgod “Yeah? That’d be great!” She said, following him to his car.
He opened the car door for her.
She got in the passenger seat. She was practically beaming, she couldn’t help it. She was smiling and biting her lip, waiting for him to get in the car too.
He gets into the car and starts it.
“To the restaurant!” She proclaimed. She figured she was getting too excited, so she tried her best to reign it back in and calm down.
He nods and pulls out
Eden decided that conversation could be saved for when Jack wasn’t driving and could give full attention to responding instead of trying to multi task. Besides, she didn’t want to wear out topics.
After they get there he hopped out and opened the door for her.
