Joey shivered at the touch, flushing harder. His wings were obviously very sensitive to touch. He watched Sol curiously, and accepted the water when it was offered to him. "Thanks… I guess this is normal after you drink?" He asked, starting to drink the water.
Sol nodded, sitting down in the couch. “It’s worse if you’re not used to it, but yeah, even I get hangovers if so drink enough.”
Looking over at Joey’s blushing face, Sol had the sudden urge to kiss him. What in the bloody stars—you just met him yesterday, Forest
Joey sat down as well, quietly drinking the water he'd been given. "It's not very fun…" He mumbled, closing his eyes so the light wouldn't hurt them so much. "At least I don't have to work today. That would really suck, huh?"
“Yeah, that’d suck,” he agreed. “I don’t have work today either… would you want to hang out? I feel bad about last night.” He smiled ruefully at the angel, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Y-Yeah, sure." Joey smiled softly up at Sol. "At least I didn't get so drunk I don't remember anything… did I do anything dumb?" He asked curiously, finishing the glass of water and setting it on the table.
Nodding with approval seeing the finished glass, Sol huffed a laugh. “No, you just acted tired,” he replied with a smile. “You were kinda cuddly, though. It was cute.”
Joey flushed again and smiled softly. "Ah… um… do you mind if I go shower?" He asked, getting to his feet. "I feel really gross." He laughed weakly.
Smiling at the adorable angel, Sol nodded. “Of course, it’s your apartment. I’ll wait out here, if that’s alright,” he replied.
Joey nodded a bit. "I'll be back soon, I promise." He headed into his bedroom and returned about fifteen minutes later, drying his fluffy hair with a towel. He was wearing an oversized hoodie and athletic shorts that exposed his thin legs. "Sorry for the wait…"
Sol’s heart lurched at the sight before him. Joey was absolutely adorable and he wanted nothing more than to cuddle him and play with his fluffy hair. “I, um, you’re good,” he stuttered.
Joey carefully fitted his wings through the large holes in the back of his hoodie and sat beside Sol, starting to preen himself again. "So, what do you wanna do?" He asked. "We can watch TV or something if you want."
“Ye-yeah, works for me,” Sol replied, ruffling his wings to get comfortable. He scooted slightly closer to Joey. Oh, he smelled nice. No, stop. Don’t lose your sense over a cute angel
Joey nodded and turned on the TV before resuming his preening, his large hoodie slipping over one shoulder a bit as he shifted and worked. "You can pick whatever you like. Preferably free, though, I'm kinda poor." He laughed softly.
Sol gulped. It’s just a shoulder, what’s the matter with you?!
“Got it,” he said, flipping through channels before settling on the cooking channel. He settled back, glancing over at Joey and trying not to blush.
Joey eventually finished preening himself and drew one knee up to his chest, hugging it tightly as he watched the cooking show. "Do you like cooking?" He asked curiously. "I'm not much of a chef myself, but I can follow a recipe."
“Hmmm I enjoy it when I have the time,” Sol replied. “But I like the shows.” He sits quietly for a bit, watching the tv.
Glancing around the room nervously, he finally turns to Joey. “Would-would it be okay if I, ah, held you? Like cuddle?” he asked carefully, quick to add, “You can say no, whatever you’re comfortable with.”
Joey flushed a bit again and considered for a few seconds. "O-Oh! Um…" He seemed a little taken aback by the question, obviously not quite expecting it. "Y-Yeah, that's… that's fine. Just be gentle. My bones are hollow, so they crack and break easily."
Sol smiled softly and nodded, oh so carefully lifting Joey and pulling him into his lap. He gently held the angel, making sure his wings weren’t cramped. He was so soft…
“Is this alright?” Sol murmured.
Joey nodded, shifting a bit to get more comfortable before resting his head on Sol's shoulder. His fluffed up hair gently brushed against the other man's chin, cheeks, and neck. His wings rested limply behind him on the couch, and he seemed to be pretty comfortable.
Sol gently nuzzled Joey’s fluffy hair. So nice…
“How are you so soft?” he murmured, cradling the angel closer and wrapping his larger brown wings around them protectively.
Joey blushed again and buried his face in Sol's shoulder. "I-I… um… I dunno… I guess that's pretty typical for angels." He shrugged a bit. "I'm… uh… glad you like it, though…"
Sol pressed a kiss on top of Joey’s head, sighing happily. “I definitely like it,” he murmured. “I could hold you like this forever.”
Joey kept his face hidden, obviously flustered. "Y-Yeah, it's… it's nice. I haven't been in with someone like this in a pretty long time." He laughed weakly.
Lightly kissing the angel’s forehead a couple times, Sol hums softly. “Neither have I,” he said, gently rocking. “But holding you like this feels wonderful.”
Joey looked up at Sol shyly, fidgeting with his hands. "Yeah…" He was quiet for a few seconds. "Is Sol short for something?" He asked curiously. "Or is it just Sol?"
