“Sounds good,” Sol said with a smile, shifting to position his wings more comfortably. He picked the remote back up and found Avatar, starting up where they left off.

Joey watched the movie idly, but he was more focused on cuddling with Sol. Either way, he seemed to be in pretty good spirits for the time being.

Sol’s eyes were on the screen, but he kept glancing back at Joey, a small, happy smile on his face.

Joey eventually yawned and closed his eyes, content to listen to the movie while he kept close to Sol. "Mm… what time is it?"

Humming, Sol glanced over at his clock. “About one o’clock,” he answered, gently rubbing Joey’s back. “You want to take a nap, love?”

"Maybe… dunno. M'kinda sleepy." Joey rested his head on Sol's chest, humming softly to himself.

Gently running his fingers through Joey’s hair, Sol smiled softly. “We can nap if you’d like, the movie can always wait.”

"Mmmm… I need to stop sleeping in the middle of the day thoughhhhh…" Joey whined. "I gotta be able to sleep at night."

“Hmmm… it’s still pretty early, we could sleep for an hour or so and not mess up your night’s sleep,” Sol offered

"I guess so…" Joey yawned again and nuzzled against Sol, getting himself a bit more comfortable. "Should we set an alarm?"

“Probably so, let me grab my phone,” he said, carefully reaching over to the nightstand, trying not to jostle Joey too much. After setting the alarm, he laid back and wrapped his arms around Joey’s waist. “Are you comfortable enough, baby?”

Joey nodded, flushing at the nickname again as he had done before. "Y-Yeah, I'm comfy…" He buried his face in Sol's chest, closing his eyes and relaxing in the other's arms. "Mmm~…"

Sol’s heart filled with warmth. How did he get so lucky? Flicking his wrist, he sent a small breeze to close the blinds, dimming the room. “Sleep well, estello,” he murmured softly.

Joey smiled softly and nodded, huddling a bit closer. It didn't take him long to drift off into a light sleep, seeming relaxed and content.

An hour later, Sol’s alarm went off and he was quick to silence it, not wanting the harsh blare to wake Joey so suddenly. Sol smiled softly as he looked at the angel curled against him. Knowing Joey wanted to get up, he gently rubbed Joey’s back. “Hey, baby, time to wake up”

Joey stirred a bit and opened his eyes, looking up at Sol blearily. "Mmmmmm…?" He yawned, rubbing at his eyes with one fist. "How long was I asleep?"

“Only about an hour, love,” Sol murmured with a smile, running a hand through Joey’s hair. “You feel better?”

Joey nodded, leaning into Sol's hand as he tried to wake himself up. "Mmmmmhmmm… feelin' good…"

“I’m glad, sweetheart. Want a drink of water?” Sol asked softly, cupping Joey’s cheek and gently brushing his thumb across his cheekbone.

"Mmm… sure." Joey melted into Sol's hands, purring softly in content. His wings hung limp behind him, and he was still struggling to keep his eyes open.

Sol carefully shifted so that he was sitting up more, leaning against the curved headboard. He reached over to the nightstand and grabbed one of the water bottles sitting there. “Here you go, love. Sit up a bit,” he murmured.

Joey opened his eyes a bit more and accepted the water, leaning against Sol as he sipped at it. "Mm… thaaaaanks, love~" He purred, nuzzling against Sol affectionately.

“‘welcome, estello,” Sol said softly, smiling and wrapping his arms back around Joey and returning his nuzzling gently. “What would you like to do now?”

"Mmm… we could actually finish the movie, if you want." He laughed softly and kept drinking the water.

“Sounds good,” Sol chuckled, picking up the remote to start the movie back up. “I think it’s almost over.”
